All of them are excelent in their own way. However, you cannot compare a powerhouse voice like Eliana, this song was meant for her, the only one to match this song is Mika just because he sing it with a lot of emotions. Gemie and Tielle seemed to be struggling after first part to sing this song but they did a good job.

Something to keep in mind is that these are not the same song, they are similar but Wmid is very differently structured. I've never much liked Mika Kobayashi's version just because it's always felt dull to me, but at the end of the day, its not meant to be powerful like Wmid is, its supposed to be suspenseful
Eliana has a bluesy quality to her singing(and seems to be the most technically proficient vocalist), and uses more of her chest voice which gives more of an emotional impact for the scenes which is BEST for the series imo. BUT Mika and Tielle make the melisma-like passages sound more ethnic(I think they flip between their chest and head voice to get a yodel like quality @1:28) which I prefer over Eliana who basically powers through everything with her chest, mixed voice and some belting. Mika makes the chorus sound more poppy which is a nice contrast, but lacks the emotional despair that Eliana gives when she sings the chorus. There should be a version where Eliana sings most of the song but Tielle sings the melismatic parts and Mika sings part of the chorus.
I've been following the series since originally came out and I gotta say Eliana blows the others out of the water. Mika is the OG but she sounds kinda flat at points. Tielle and Gemie are amazing vocalists who are usually anime music godesses but their performance here actually kinda dissapointed me.

There is no desperation. She just powers through. I saw Sawano's Medley video as well. The anime is about human desperation. I never watched the whole thing, but saw a few episodes and read a many chapters. The first part of the anime is just pure terror. It's like Holy Sh*%. Only person that conveyed a lot of that emotion is Mika. I watched numerous clips of them both because people were saying who is better. Mika was the best fit for that part, not Eliana.
