Day 2 of the Indiana Adventure | Getting Ready for a Travel Day

- Hi y’all. This is Susan at Windmill Ridge Budgets and More and we have completed Day 1 of our Indiana Adventure. We stopped at a little campground on the river in North Little Rock. Rain came in but held off until we got set up.
Today is Day 2 and today we are traveling to our next stop a little under 300 miles. Walk around with me while i double check everything and we get hitched up to roll.
The video cut off just as I got into the truck…I hit a button on my phone. I need a tripod to hold I suppose 🙄

I love this. My goal is to be able to travel the US. I would love to be a digital nomad.
I’m semi-retired with a part time job that pays too well to give up just yet. Maybe a couple more school years. Hubby is working towards part-time. We are definitely looking forward to the income we have with much fewer expenses. Thanks for watching. 🤗

How fun!! I would imagine Indiana in the summer would be great. We’re only going to be gone over Spring Break and most of the time doing the Tour de Campgrounds ⛺️

Thanks!! We’ve been living in it in the driveway for almost a year just to be sure we can do it before selling the house. I do all my videos/printing/Etsy orders, etc. from there. I wanted to be able to work from the road eventually and so far it works well. Just a lot to pack away on travel days.

@@GoldenGirlBudgets Yes, we’ve heard too many people that loved the romantic notion of hitting the road and not crunch the numbers, don’t have an exit strategy and have the “What Were We Thinking” moment.

We are buying our camper this weekend. But have been talking to my husband about selling our house and traveling
That’s exactly what we are going to do. The hardest part is getting rid of all the stuff and hubby’s tools. I’d say try it on for size before you make the leap…once the house is sold there’s no going back. We’ve been living in her in our driveway for almost a year. We’re ready. What are y’all getting? Is it your first camper?
@@windmillridgebudgets It won't be for a while before we can do this. My mom lives with us and can't travel. But our camper is a used 2019 Colman. ( Very nice) We have a piece of land in Upper Michigan we use for our camp and will stay there.
I understand. We had a similar situation with my mom. She’s been gone 2 years now. Enjoy your mom while you can. Congratulations on your camper.
