On console, 80% of the players ONLY auto-aim, which means they cannot hit light tanks in motion. Also in pub matches on console, many people turn off or completely ignore the mini map, so this amounts to 2 or more light tanks that can charge the enemy arty locations and take the enemy arty out like 80% of the time within the first 60 seconds of a match. I cannot stress how much better PC players are, and how LAZY console players are, who always love to site the fact that WoT is just a game, no need to try. Many console players just want to get in match, drive around a little and shoot 1 or 2 people, similar to GTA but with tanks. This is both fun and a curse, depending who you get on your team.

That analogy 🤣🤣🤣 I couldn't have stated it better myself. The problem is that the Manticore is so bad at fending for itself. Anyone and everyone will bully you, including other lights. That's why I said I'd prefer to have any of the guns on the tier 8 light tanks. While that is a bit of an extreme view, after playing the Manticore I found myself appreciating the reload of tier 8 premium tanks with peashooter guns that I previously found frustrating, such as the M41D and T92.
I personally like the play style, its a tier X ELC AMX, but the DPM and the ammo load out are way to low. I think they should slightly buff the DPM, increase ammo capacity by at least 50 percent and give it top pen in its class. Make it a little zoom and boom tank.
Not to mention the fact that despite making the tank up from scratch they opted for a crew of two which f-s up training and acquiring skills. The commander is overworked like hell.
WG have always been overly concerned with people treating LTs as super stealthy snipers (ie performing more as TDs than as scouts) and have adjusted class as a whole to reflect this, primarily by providing them with weak firepower especially at range. Then they decide to introduce a LT line specifically designed to fit the biggest guns possible onto the smallest platforms possible. To square this circle of conflicting design parameters they had to make the Brit LTs as awful as possible in every other aspect. Especially the tier ten, because all tracked tier ten LTs have to suck for no good reason.
I feel like a big problem that people rarely mention is that for the entire Brit Light Tank line there are 3 crew members; Commander, Gunner, Driver. But when you enter the Manticore you have just a Driver and Commander and the Commander now has to be the gunner too, give it a Gunner, more alpha, and maybe that’s all you need to do? Or if not alpha definitely some ammo. Love the Videos @Taugrim thanks 😊
They specifically advertised the UK lights as having high alpha, which to me meant it would be above average, but the Manticore is the same as 4 of the other 6 tier 10 lights(outside the derp). However, it's almost like they planned to give it unusually high alpha so balanced that with long reloads and low ammo count, then decided against giving it high alpha but never rebalanced those aspects of the tank. To make matters worse having two crew is ridiculous, it may be 'historical' but they added a third to the EVEN 90 so I don't see why they couldn't do the same to dilute skills. Although it may not matter with crew 2.0.
Imagine if the ratio of alpha damage was comparable to the original ELC Amx. 240 dmg vs everyone else only getting 110. It would be like having 500 damage. But nooooooo
That's a really interesting point. I ran the numbers and if the Manticore had 500 alpha, then it would have dpm and potential damage in line with the other tier X lights. So it does look suspiciously like you are right and WG did indeed plan for it to have high alpha but then wimped out and nerfed it without changing any other stat before adding it to the game.
Just some food for thought. I think Wargaming have shown us a potential way forward for the Manticore with the Borrasque. If they were to give it a two-shot autoloader it would at least be unique among light tanks at tier 10 with decent alpha and an autoloader. As for the 3 man tanks which don't have oscillating turrets they could give them competitive alpha with the wheelie boys and a proper hesh round. I see no reason why the two shot autoloader couldn't be put on the tier 8 as well. Be interested to hear your thoughts guys!
I have heard nothing but bad things about this tank, to include your rousing endorsement, and have no interest in working for it. However, I watched because I always learn from your videos. Thank you for posting.
He says stuff about the elc and yet I got into a game with him on my team him playing his elc me playing my lynx and we get a city map.... Once in a life time chance went to waste but I still love him his videos r great!
Yea, both things are true. You can have big spotting games, but it's armament sucks. And the EBR 105 completely owns it. If an EBR zooms a passive spotting Manticore, that Manti is screwed.
Still one of my favorite tanks to play despite its shortcomings. A buff would be fantastic, as it's horrible in a brawl against any tank, but I can't stop playing this thing!
This tank while it is playable as a passive scout (yea relying on your team mates is always a good plan) however I feel it needs an ammo capacity boost, the .32 acc and the HESH shells from the other British 105 guns, I could handle the reload and others with these changes almost as a scout come td role.
I believe these British LTs were introduced as a "hard mode" for WoT's best players. I don't mind tanks with a long reload that have mobility and stealth on their side. I love my UDES 14 5. The ~10 sec reload leaves you time to get unlit, reposition and pop up elsewhere. The carry-capacity on the current tunnel-maps is very limited though. The downside of mobility and stealth is that they don't come with armour and high DPM that often.
Great review and gameplay. That you are able to finesse this turd of a tank speaks to your skill. Also really appreciated some of your droll humour. You should explore that side of your commentary a little more often, it's really an indicator that you are fiercely intelligent. Keep your stick on the ice!
That first map has been giving me a lot of trouble as of lately especially when I’m in my artilleries, I’ve started to do what I usually do with TDs as opposed to the normal artillery tactics. My biggest takeaway from your video is that I’ll need to be more flexible and patience especially the team, I really am starting to hate this tank it real restraints my options as to pounce on opportunities when presented with them. Low ammunition, bad mobility, poor gun arch’s, and a somewhat troublesome camouflage values yeah I’m not a very big fan, but it is British so go for par the course Lol! I’m still trying to pass 51% win rate in the this tank maybe I’ll try the tactics you showed us, however there’s not much I can do to overcome the low ammo, poor maneuverability, and extremely weak armor as for camouflage values I’ve tried camouflage-net but found that limiting and in some cases dangerous so till my British light tank crew is that full 100% percentage I’ll keep playing a mobile scouting and sniping game. Again thanks for the strategy guides you give us the players I wish you God speed comrade!
It would be good to hear some official answers from the devs about this, i mean the ones that really thought it was a good idea and how to play it. It looks like you would want to not take risky shots, or far away shots, you know high percentage ,and conserve most of your ammo until end game. I think it represents a challenge tank, which perhaps they wanted to milk that aspect, players loving the unloved, or just so small, the satisfaction level is higher when you can do well.
Hey, baseball is an international sport. I don't know how big it is offhand, it was just a reference, but the point is this tank turns like the Titanic, which makes no sense for a tank that should be fast and agile.
what a guy, firing only AP in this tank. This is probably my favorite tank, though i will agree this tank needs a lot of buffs firepower wise. Unlike the shit-wagen this tank has a lot more potential.
Have you made a video on the T14 heavy? I know it's only tier 5, but it has the reputation as an awful tank, but I've been playing it a lot recently as the only premium tank on my alt, and even without using gold (I never use it), I get over 1k damage and a ton of blocks almost every match. With its reputation as an awful tank, I'd love to see content creators talk about it more as a semi-hidden gem for good players (though I think newbies will really struggle with it)
Hey man.. Just to shout out that you explained well for the action you've made and it's really good for casual players like me. Thumbs up man.. EDIT: Btw, what mod you are using that display you stats and winrate in a colorful big banner on the garage?
Could you come across the Chi-Ri, the tier 7 japanese MT ? I'm actually strugling at 53% wr due to is lack if silver penetration and the difficulty if managing such an autoloader... We could learn a lot about playing the underdog kind of gameplay. Nevertheless, it's always a great time seeing your vids'. Keep it up 🖖
I played it. The Chi-Ri may be the most awkward tank out there. Medium with heavy size and poor mobility, but with no armor and bad camo. Fun gun though. I only had a 50% WR in it, so fair play to you. Maybe you could help me.
@@taugrim So great to see your answer ! I've found that the playstyle of the Chi-Ri required to always try to setup an ambush near the HTs fights. Even if the poor penetration limits you to only fire to the side of the enemy tanks, the Chi-Ri can do OK in holding near-loosing flanks, like you did exceptionally well in your STA-1 on Karkov by extending the vision control for the allies. That's all i've found to maintain a 53% wr in it, while i got 1.2k dmg average... but it's sad to compare it with other mediums of the same tier, like the Panther who could easily smash it on avery aspect in a fight. Nevertheless, I have to admit that I like the autoloader on this tank, coupled with the 1s intra-clip reload : it has his moments ! Thank you for all the tips you gave me in order to be a better player✌️! Keep it up :)
The first thing I would do to balance them would be to give all of them HESH shells. The Setter and the Senlac already have something like HESH (Hi pen HE), so why not tier 8, 9 and 10 ?
I think the Centution AX and the Manticore should get SILVER HESH (yes, you read that right) with 220 pen, 510 dmg. I'm not joking. They also need to add an equipment to give 25% more ammo capacity
@@FlaviaPitariu the 210 pen isn't that quite good on Cent 7/1 though, so it's not a problem. It cannot penetrate modules (like tracks) and it sometimes does like between 10-50 dmg if it hits the tracks/modules and doesn't pen. 210 seem to have hard time penning even weakspots these days, so I don't see the point of that lowering it to 200. Maybe if it replaces the normal HE and is only silver cost - then sure. Imho FV4005/183 actually doesn't need to lower the penetration, but instead it needs an alpha reduction. Why it has to be 1750 on HE/HESH, when the AP "only" rolls just above 1k? I mean why cant it be max 1300 or something. This would also make non-penning hit way less. When the HESH without pen still does closer to 900 dmg without penning in some cases, why would you even think about shooting AP that way? Centurion has it exactly backwards, you really have to think if HESH is ever worth it at all due to the problems getting a pen even against paper tanks.
@@taugrim it's very fair and exactly what I expected. It's a sneaky tank with a neutered gun. It's as you pointed out incapable of carrying. Even the Sheridan derp is more competent at that
So here goes: My name is Nota Roketscientist and I am a gold spammer. It started out simple enough when I found I could make my tank punch above its weight by spending a small amount on premium ammo. It cascaded over the months until it is all I used. Now that I have the support of this group and the example of Taugrim I have vowed to never use premium ammunition again. I know this won't be easy but I have made a good start and I have been premium free for almost three days now. I just had a match where my Indien-Pz penned a T95 at distance. I know it can be done.
How I would buff the Manticore: Hull traverse from 45deg/s to 48deg/s Turret traverse from 40deg/s to 42deg/s Alpha damage from 390 to 440 Shell count from 20 to 30 WG could go even farther than this, but i'm trying to be "realistic" with what they would accept or deny. 40 shells and a fire rate buff would be great, but lets be real... WG wouldn't do it.
I think you could probably just give it 500 alpha and not change anything else. That would also make it a pretty interesting tank to play since you could even out trade some heavies.
7:53 Yeah, but the AMX 13 light line has worse traverse than this line. The smaller the light tank is, the slower hull traverse it has, unless you're russian lol.
The traverse on the French lights is bad, especially the 13 105. But those tanks have autoloaders and are VERY capable of defending themselves, whereas the Manticore is a wimp.
@@taugrim I really don't know why they got abysmal hull traverse, it's not even funny. By the way, that pen shot to you by Obj. 261 arty in Karelia? A miracle was bestowed upon you when not both of your crew died. Did you buy a lottery ticket that day? 😂
What I don't understand is why do they let the tier 10 of a line have less effective hull traverse than the tanks before it. The amx 13 105 has the worst effective tank traverse of the whole line, starting at and including the tier 6 AMX 12t... For the Flipwagon, it's worse than the RU251 and the HWK12, but a tiny bit above the SP1C... For the Sheridan, only the T49 at tier 9 has less hull traverse than the tier 10, all other american lights tier 6 to 8 has better traverse... It doesn't make sense ! Even for the russian lights : From tier 6 to 10, the tier 10 has the worst traverse !.... sigh...
See so... this line of lights IS how lights should be played. That other light tanks are tiny mediums with camo is another issue. The Manticore is fine how it is. We dont need more tiny mediums with camo.
In the second battle, after the Foch spotted you, you took damage to multiple modules and you used your repair kit on your engine. When the repair kit and med kit came back online, you healed the commander but didn't fix the optics which were also damaged. I've seen this in another video of yours - is there something about damaged optics that makes them tolerable from a spotting perspective?
I can’t really get it when people say that this is a bad tank!!! It has the best combination of camo and view range in Wot! How often do you really carry a game? And who has said that carrying a game all about damage and pushing to frontlines Sometimes you can just carry a game as just a spotter
Great video, I'm not a fan of manticore but I still learned a thing or two, but why are you using a large medkit? You only have 2 crew member and if both of them are dead it's game over anyways.
strait away in the first replay, he could totally take manticore to the bush further in front of him with it's 50+% camo, then the main focus should be taking out the enemy LT rather than pretending to be an MT and dealing damage and risking give away his position. in matchups like this with only one LT each side, friendly LT is spotted on one side of the map than the enemy LT can push vision through the other side like a walk in the back yard.
And yes LT also needs to do damage, but that only really happens when the enemy LT is out( but if you got rushed or ur smth like WZ132 and Sheridan then it's another story.) and the enemy team lost all their vision, then you start getting into position only LTs with It's 50% camo can get into and sneak shots at people.
Give it HESH an ill be content with the ammo and will play it like a mini deathstar.but yea this tank needs attention and to say theres not enough data to being a buff is a weak ass escuse since the lack of data is evidence of how weak its entire line is
I really wanted to like this tank but it truly is a pain to play. I have a great crew in it but that doesn't help much. Taugrim is right, spend your time on something better. Get the AMX 13-105. It is way better.
I have a possible solution to this tank. Give it crazy high alpha. Give it the "naval cannon" they say it has. I'm talking like 500 alpha or more. And leave all other stats the same. That way its unique. I don't even think 550 would be enough to make the tank "amazing" lol
I am currently going up this line and i am not a unicum or unicorn or any other weird Word you are using for very good player. Back in the Old days we use to call them pro players, but thats another issue. I had good games with the Setter and the LHMTV as well. The thing is that is the worst brawler tier for tier. With Setter i was getting killed tier 5 as well. But if you team up with another Light or a medium thta can back u up for the terible reloading, you can perform surprisingly good. It has the Best Pen of all lights and thats very useful at the latest stage of the round, where all heavies that survived have low hp. I could even Pen a tier 8 frontally without Gold ammo. Even from long distance where others have to get very close risking getting killed if they bump into an obstacle. I have t unlock the manticore but with the LHMTV i cant say that it is the worst i had. Worst tank i ever had was T20. Ridiculous reload, mediocre Pen, glass armour and good speed. Thats it! How many times they one shot me with this thing i dont really remember. All in all i think it all comes down to what have been used to drive. I have never driven ebr and i dont give a sh.. It of driving them simply because the are OP and ruim the game, not Fun at all. If you are used to drive the clown car, of course you will think manticore is bad. But if you have played one shot-long reload Tanks before like i have, long reload isnt anymore frustrating. Simply i dont go mano a mano with other Tanks unless they are one shot. Instead i actively scout, harass their line, peak and snipe. I have benn in games that had equivelant spotting damage with ebrs
But... but with camo net you can get 100% camo in a bush. It is one of the two tanks capable of doing this. Manticore and the Even 90. People underestimate the power of proxy spot bush camping.
In 95% of situations, the T-100 LT can spot as well as the Manticore. With my crews: T-100 LT: 40.4 camo rating, 460 view range (crew with 4.84 skills) Manticore: 40.6 camo rating, 460 view range (crew with 4.76 skills)
While I agree with the points here, what I find annoying with this video and pretty much all other stuff people have put on RUclips or in forums about how to use tanks, especially the British lights, it's always predicated on being able to carry. I only have like 400 games, I'm not carrying on the most OP tank. When I look up stuff about a tank I'm interested in I want to learn how to best use it to help the team. NOT whether it can/can't carry. I'm a shitter in a light tank... I don't want to carry....
In terms of performance, this is much more the way a cramped, bouncy, unarmoured light should be. Ie. useless. Unlike all the other fantasy lights that can fire on the move, shrug off hits to their extra wheels etc.
So looking forward to this review. WG please watch this. And on top of all of the (absolutely right and correct) criticisms, it has a 2 man crew... A totally overloaded commander and it is possible for your entire crew to die from h.e. and arty hits. A valid candidate for the worst tank in the game.
@@taugrim Interesting. What I hate about the Flipwagon is the huge size. Enemies have a hard time missing you. Even if they did that (which would be a roughly 15% DPM increase), the ammo capacity still needs to be increased to at least 30. At least. If they did both things, this tank would be far more usable.
I honestly think they had HESH in play testing then pulled it cos it was too good.. the tank needs to play like a tier 10 version of the tier 5 elc.. they should also add an equipment module to give any tank 25% more ammo capacity
@@taugrim I remember it was even worse when it first showed up. They consider ammo capacity as a balance thing. That's why batchat has less ammo than 13 105 and ebr 🤣😅

So it's roughly equivalent to the T-100 LT in terms of vision control. And the T-100 LT is vastly superior in terms of armament. Same goes to the EBR 105.

Glad to see you back on this tank. Cheer up man, you are god
If they give it a 440 alpha and add few more ammo I won't complain too much anymore despite of its other disadvantages
@@ARCNA442 i've often thought this but I always thought it was the Centurion 7/1 golden HESH they never let it have, 210 pen 490 alpha
@@con_boy That makes even more sense - WG has been messing with alpha values lately, but 500 from a 105mm would still be sort of silly.
It's kinda hilarious how it's 80% gun and 20% vehicle
Just some food for thought. I think Wargaming have shown us a potential way forward for the Manticore with the Borrasque. If they were to give it a two-shot autoloader it would at least be unique among light tanks at tier 10 with decent alpha and an autoloader. As for the 3 man tanks which don't have oscillating turrets they could give them competitive alpha with the wheelie boys and a proper hesh round. I see no reason why the two shot autoloader couldn't be put on the tier 8 as well. Be interested to hear your thoughts guys!
the 13 105 is already an autoloader tank?
I have heard nothing but bad things about this tank, to include your rousing endorsement, and have no interest in working for it. However, I watched because I always learn from your videos. Thank you for posting.
He says stuff about the elc and yet I got into a game with him on my team him playing his elc me playing my lynx and we get a city map.... Once in a life time chance went to waste but I still love him his videos r great!
I have the GSOR and I kind of like it. but I dont want the Manticore thanks for making the decision easier for me, as usual Excellent video.
The ammo capacity is so bad that i got my first fadins medal in this tank
This tank is by far the most under powered tank that I've played, but I had my best spotting game in it of 12k spotting
Yea, both things are true. You can have big spotting games, but it's armament sucks.
And the EBR 105 completely owns it. If an EBR zooms a passive spotting Manticore, that Manti is screwed.
@@taugrim ditto for any tracked light with any wheelie.
My favorite even90 bushes are not safe when wheelies are around
pretty much 1st half of game for manticore is setting up ambush shots to kill EBR
Still one of my favorite tanks to play despite its shortcomings. A buff would be fantastic, as it's horrible in a brawl against any tank, but I can't stop playing this thing!
This tank while it is playable as a passive scout (yea relying on your team mates is always a good plan) however I feel it needs an ammo capacity boost, the .32 acc and the HESH shells from the other British 105 guns, I could handle the reload and others with these changes almost as a scout come td role.
well it was a tank destroyer design that wargaming decided to implement as a light tank
They could give it 490 aplha, it would be unique and acctually quite strong...
I have an amazing sense of humor, but I'm afraid if I unleash it no one will take me seriously or think me shallow.
🤣🤣🤣
WG makes weird ammo amount decisions, the Chrysler K for example has so much ammo (100 shells).. almost impossible to empty in a normal match.
Imagine an arty splash kill your two crew...
I like the video, keep up the good work Taugrim. Just one question: how big is a baseball diamond? (you do have a few non american viewers :P ).
Hey, baseball is an international sport.
I don't know how big it is offhand, it was just a reference, but the point is this tank turns like the Titanic, which makes no sense for a tank that should be fast and agile.
It's about half the size of a football field :)
17:45 It is nice he gave you a warning lol I never heard of arty splashing “bad” scouts before
It turns out our arties were truly friendly and not trying to threaten me. You just never know with team mates in random battles.
abusing manticores is becoming a bit of a meme
what a guy, firing only AP in this tank.
This is probably my favorite tank, though i will agree this tank needs a lot of buffs firepower wise. Unlike the shit-wagen this tank has a lot more potential.
Not enough people play it for WG to balance it. Think about all the dev time that went into a line thats worse than the flip wagon.
Have you made a video on the T14 heavy? I know it's only tier 5, but it has the reputation as an awful tank, but I've been playing it a lot recently as the only premium tank on my alt, and even without using gold (I never use it), I get over 1k damage and a ton of blocks almost every match. With its reputation as an awful tank, I'd love to see content creators talk about it more as a semi-hidden gem for good players (though I think newbies will really struggle with it)
No, I've only reviewed a handful of tier 5 tanks.
Hey man.. Just to shout out that you explained well for the action you've made and it's really good for casual players like me. Thumbs up man..
EDIT: Btw, what mod you are using that display you stats and winrate in a colorful big banner on the garage?
I don't use any mods. Never have, never will.
That image of my stats is simply the WoTLabs signature image overlaid on top of game footage.
The Setter and the Senlac already have something like HESH (Hi pen HE), so why not tier 8, 9 and 10 ?
especially since historical british light tanks and recce (like the scorpion) made heavy use of HESH
Manticore has battleship gun they said
So it is good enough they said
I think the Centution AX and the Manticore should get SILVER HESH (yes, you read that right) with 220 pen, 510 dmg. I'm not joking. They also need to add an equipment to give 25% more ammo capacity
@@con_boy totally disagree. Hesh should never be above 200 pen and the deathstar and 4005 need that pen lowered
@@FlaviaPitariu the Centurion 7/1 currently has this hesh pen too mate (well, it is 210), as did the FV4202 and they are set to 480 dmg
@@con_boy then lower that too to 200. So people still need to aim instead of easy pen on most tanks
I can't wait to see what you say about this one
Let me know what you think on my take on it.
LOL this is great stuff. Obviously use premium ammo in situations where it helps. I get by without it.
How I would buff the Manticore:
Hull traverse from 45deg/s to 48deg/s
Turret traverse from 40deg/s to 42deg/s
Alpha damage from 390 to 440
Shell count from 20 to 30
WG could go even farther than this, but i'm trying to be "realistic" with what they would accept or deny. 40 shells and a fire rate buff would be great, but lets be real... WG wouldn't do it.
Sounds good to me.
Even for the russian lights : From tier 6 to 10, the tier 10 has the worst traverse !.... sigh...
Nxt guide can we get tvp 50/51? I want to see a otter to use auto loader bursting and seeing punishing mistakes by the enemy :)
See so... this line of lights IS how lights should be played. That other light tanks are tiny mediums with camo is another issue. The Manticore is fine how it is. We dont need more tiny mediums with camo.
I don’t know why but I like the phrase tiny mediums
In the second battle, after the Foch spotted you, you took damage to multiple modules and you used your repair kit on your engine. When the repair kit and med kit came back online, you healed the commander but didn't fix the optics which were also damaged. I've seen this in another video of yours - is there something about damaged optics that makes them tolerable from a spotting perspective?
Once the crew fixes the commander's viewport thingy (so that it's yellow), it has no detrimental effect.
@@taugrim Sweet, thanks for the info!
I used blueprints to unlock the line after playing the first tank in the line.
Great video, thank you.
new intro, NOICE
I can’t really get it when people say that this is a bad tank!!!
It has the best combination of camo and view range in Wot!
How often do you really carry a game? And who has said that carrying a game all about damage and pushing to frontlines
Sometimes you can just carry a game as just a spotter
Its gun elevation is biggest gripe with it. Unicoms that like to keep their 'gun hot' will not like it
Great video, I'm not a fan of manticore but I still learned a thing or two, but why are you using a large medkit? You only have 2 crew member and if both of them are dead it's game over anyways.
15% passive crew death resistance. Worth it IMO.
strait away in the first replay, he could totally take manticore to the bush further in front of him with it's 50+% camo, then the main focus should be taking out the enemy LT rather than pretending to be an MT and dealing damage and risking give away his position. in matchups like this with only one LT each side, friendly LT is spotted on one side of the map than the enemy LT can push vision through the other side like a walk in the back yard.
Taugrim, can you review the Tiger 2 if you have it? Like to know how to make it work as it is now
Manticore.. how to have fun while being thoroughly miserable... miss miss miss miss fully aimed fully aimed fully aimed fully aimed.. out of ammo
True story.
Give it HESH an ill be content with the ammo and will play it like a mini deathstar.but yea this tank needs attention and to say theres not enough data to being a buff is a weak ass escuse since the lack of data is evidence of how weak its entire line is
ive been fkd by turn radius more times than i can count
I really wanted to like this tank but it truly is a pain to play. I have a great crew in it but that doesn't help much. Taugrim is right, spend your time on something better. Get the AMX 13-105. It is way better.
I have a possible solution to this tank. Give it crazy high alpha. Give it the "naval cannon" they say it has. I'm talking like 500 alpha or more. And leave all other stats the same. That way its unique. I don't even think 550 would be enough to make the tank "amazing" lol
500 alpha would give it roughly the same DPM and potential damage as the Rhm Panzerwagon.
@@ARCNA442 So what your saying is we need to give it 550 alpha. I agree :)
550 would be pretty considerably useful given how good the camo and speed are on this tank.
The sad part about this is that no matter how bad this tank is, if it had more ammo, it would be better than german light tank.
@Taugrim would you change equipmen?t ,because of new equipment ...witch would you change
Can you make a video about TVP T50/51? I got trouble when I'm in a ultra tier X battles!
I'll add it to my backlog. It's basically an up-tier Skoda T50 with the same playstyle and mechanics.
But... but with camo net you can get 100% camo in a bush. It is one of the two tanks capable of doing this. Manticore and the Even 90. People underestimate the power of proxy spot bush camping.
In 95% of situations, the T-100 LT can spot as well as the Manticore.
With my crews:
T-100 LT: 40.4 camo rating, 460 view range (crew with 4.84 skills)
Manticore: 40.6 camo rating, 460 view range (crew with 4.76 skills)
@@taugrim the manticore should have more view range than the t-100lt in that list
And it has better stationary camo
I have the first gunmark. (Around 100 battle) I frustrated because Ebr HE , t100 :D Only 2 crew knockout. If wg add more gunhandling to this...
What makes this tank worse is it is constantly matched against EBRs
A valid candidate for the worst tank in the game.
since ive followed your advice position over dmg i have better games
Glad to hear it!
GSOR has great gun elevation
The ammo load is a piss take. What possible rationale could there be. It’s not like it’s a mega dmg gun
If they gave it like 500 alpha, maybe 20 rounds would actually be justified
So you think this one is worst than the Flipwagon ?
Cheers !
They're both bad, but the Rhm Pzw's gun is better.
@@taugrim
Interesting. What I hate about the Flipwagon is the huge size. Enemies have a hard time missing you. I don't have the Manticore, but it looks like that the enemies has a hard time hitting you instead... A huge difference that may partly explain why the winrate amongst all players is far better for the Manticore than for the Flipwagon...
@@yanickgenest1324 flipwagon has small size on ridge line though.. check out skill4ltu's video today.. he has one of the most incredible games ever in a Rhm cos of the small ridgeline silhouette.. manticore win rate is cos of the incredibly low tank count in game.. there are something like 20 Rhm's for each Manticore.. the only people who get the manticore are almost avid tank collectors types who have all the other lights etc.. so they know what they are doing .. WG will have those players avg LT scores ... and they will know the stats are fake.. the line is so atrocious to the manticore it sort of FORCES good players only
Yea the Rhm Pzw is a blimp. Super easy to damage.
They should raise the alpha on the manticore to 440/460
Even if they did that (which would be a roughly 15% DPM increase), the ammo capacity still needs to be increased to at least 30. At least.
If they did both things, this tank would be far more usable.
I honestly think they had HESH in play testing then pulled it cos it was too good.. the tank needs to play like a tier 10 version of the tier 5 elc.. they should also add an equipment module to give any tank 25% more ammo capacity
@@con_boy you never know, that might be added in equipment 2.0 they had some interesting ideas in the first test
A player should not have to mount an equipment to offset bad game design. An ammo capacity of 20 for a 390 alpha gun is laughable.
