I've only watched a quarter of the video and I already think there's enough fits that would've warranted an additional tier (in-between "absolutely slayed" and "borderline okay") called "understood the assignment". Most of these fits aren't conventionally "good", but they absolutely slayed for their highly-specific intended purposes, including the Konstantin drag cosplay, the boy pajama fit, and the boho teacher.
Fair enough, lol! Funnily enough they weren't even really kids pjs because the costume department had made them for her. Lesson: if you’re gonna rock kids pjs have them custom fitted 😆

I’ve only once dealt with fashion in a thesis of a student on Venetian 1700s dresses, shoes, shawls and wigs, and I was very impressed with the socio-anthropological perspective she had. Your video was, likewise, incredibly informative and I don’t remember following anything (except for the show itself) so closely. I agreed with almost everything (I didn’t like the kayak suit). I was hoping you’d talk about the grey boiler suit because in terms of androgyny it’s up there with the grey Chalayan suit. Thanks and I hope you make more videos like this. Maybe Carolyn’s wardrobe, the whole thing was stupendous.

My daughter (queer, architecture student) and I last November completed the first draft of a novel centering on an oddball young queer female couple, both of them scientists, who find themselves entangled in a world of conspiracies. We then looked around if something similar already was out there, and our jaws literally dropped when we chanced on Killing Eve. It dawned on me that my daughter was right when she kept pointing out we need to pay more attention to fashion and grooming and style. We did, but I was somewhat dismissive and just didn’t think it is what the book (and the TV series concept it is based upon) is all about. Boy was I wrong. I had a planet sized blind spot there. Fashion can be infinitely important for character building, comfort and self image, both for fictional characters and in the real world. If a year ago someone would told me that one day I’d sit there and watch videos about the haute couture of a movie character, I’d just frown. But here I am. So much to learn…
The hair needs to be up in that stunning floral dress. It should be up in a loose style with a pin. The dress would also look better on someone with darker hair. It’s very bold. I could see a tall, Asian woman with jet black hair completely rocking it.
