Awesome! We'd love to see a pic of your finished invitations! We love featuring customer projects. You can send it through downloadandprint.com. Congratulations on your August wedding!
Anna, what a beautiful idea. My daughter will be getting remarried and I am going to show her some of these. I know we aren't spending like we did the on the first one, and these are just beautiful.. In fact I wish I had thought of this yrs ago when I got remarried 18 yrs ago...lol LOVE them and they look very expensive...Thank you for showing us, and giving us the link. I am new to your site (it is June 2016) but I subscribed and gave a Thumbs UP to a wonderful idea and video..Can't wait to see more of what you do!
I loved this idea, everything about it screamed me. And it's an easy diy for my bridesmaids to do. Thanx for this video. I have all kinds of ideas in my head using this idea.
Kimberly Head-Jenkins I'm glad you love the invitation! It's not possible for you to change the color, but we do offer a color change service and are happy to do this for you. When ordering the template from our website check the 'need to change colors' box before adding the template to your cart.
This will depend on the size invitation you are using. If you are using the 5.25" square invitation you can use a 5.5" square envelope, or slightly larger.
+Teena Thomas, unfortunately this 10" doily is no longer available. We've updated the project using an 8" doily. You can find this doily here under embellishments www.downloadandprint.com/supplies/ Also check the projects section on our website for the updated tutorial.
Hi everyone, I was desperate for the 10 in doily that looked just like these but they are not available at all. I used the 8 in one from etsy and it looks great it just doesn't fold as far over. I used soft iron spray paint because I wanted antique silver look. if you like this look the 8 inch will work. as long as you use the template. it will fit the same size envelopes.
+Kimberly Winston I love this design and would love for you to send me a pic of your invitation. I have to make invitations within the next 2 months. n2velvet@yahoo.com I truly appreciate it.
Really beautiful... I was wondering which of these sizes of envelopes you recommend for this invitation a type 5 1/2 inches sized 5.5 x 5.5 (mm: 139.7 x 139.7) or a type 5 sized inches: 6 x 6 (mm: 152.4 x 152.4).
+Connie Karaszkiewicz Unfortunately we do not have the doilies. You may like to look at the embossed vellum pochette tutorial as an alternative to the doily. ruclips.net/video/gkiMM5rjxLA/видео.html
This is gorgeous! I was wondering how many cans of spray paint did you go through for the doilies? If one plans on making 250-300 invitations; how much spray paint is required. Thank you for this wonderful tutorial!
Hello! How did you print those cards in one sheet? Do you have a tutorial on how to do that in Microsoft word? I mean doing it from scratch instead of downloading it? Thanks so much!
Unfortunately we don't have a tutorial on how to create an invitation from scratch in MS Word. It's much easier with a template! We create our designs in Photoshop and Illustrator and import them to MS Word, resulting in a template that is easy for anyone to use. Good luck with your project!
I really love this look I just can't seem to find the doilies I have all the other supplies needed except for the template and doilies! Did you give away the 250 already ? Or do you have some I can buy from you?
+Julie Descallar The invitation and coordinating templates can be found her: www.downloadandprint.com/templates/vintage-iron-lace-square-invitation-set/ The doily was purchased at PaperMart.com, though they no longer carry 10" doilies. Your best bet is to try Etsy for the doilies.
Hi! great tutorial :) Do tyese get mailed just as they are or would I need actual envelopes to mail them in? I'm afraid they might be too fragile that by the time they get to my guests they would rip. Thank you!
+Priscilla Shofstall Depending on the brand the spray paint can have a strong order. I recommend using a Low Odor water based spray paint. Krylon's H20 Latex spray paint is water-based, non-toxic and low-odor. Allowing the doilies to dry and air out for 24-hours before wrapping the invitations will also help. We only painted a couple of doilies so I can't tell you exactly how many cans of spray paint you'll need. My gut is each can will cover 50-60 doilies.
+Phuong Tran the paint does not wrinkle the doily if you only use a light coating. After waiting the recommended drying time the paint will not come off on the invitation. Follow the guidelines on your spraypaint can.
This is incredible, the only problem is neither of the links still carry the doilies. I am in desperate need of these doilies, does anyone know where i can find these doilies in bulk and an affordable price?
Hie.. I cant seem to find the same doily as the one u used in the video.. I checked on the websites but I cant find any as beautiful as the one you used. may you please help me? Thank you
Hi, Thanks for sharing this. I found it easier than others. If I download the template, can I change the wording on it? I assume the $29.00 dollars come with the invitation, RSVP and name tag? Am I correct? Also, I wanted to make my guests RSVP via our wedding website rather than sending us back the RSVP card. Therefore, I would like to put that information (our web address) to the response card. That's why I asked if the wording on the template can be customizde to my need. Thanks!!
Dian Sari Hi! Yes, all the wording on the RSVP card can be customized. The bundle for $29 includes the templates for the invitation, RSVP, and name badge.
I don't suppose anyone would know where I could buy some of the doilies in Australia? We are just waiting to confirm that we can actually source some here and then will head in and get the template. Thanks!
Hi, I know of one supplier in the US carrying them, you can inquire if they ship internationally. As this doily envelope is proving so popular and the doilies unfortunately now seem in short supply, we are working on a reliable source for everyone. In the meantime you can try here: fortandfield.com
+Samantha D. Depending on the brand the spray paint can have a strong order. I recommend using a Low Odor water based spray paint. Krylon's H20 Latex spray paint is water-based, non-toxic and low-odor. Allowing the doilies to dry and air out for 24-hours before wrapping the invitations will also help.
I recommend using a Low Odor water based spray paint. Krylon's H20 Latex spray paint is water-based, non-toxic and low-odor. Also make sure the paint can be used on paper, this is most important!
I was wanting to use this for my invitation, but I have not been able to find 10" square doilies anywhere and when I looked on the links you had I did not see them either I was wondering if you knew of any other places that's I could go to?
Melissa Downing Unfortunately I don't have another source for the doilies. We are going to change the invitation design to work with a different size doily, but this won't be ready for another couple of months.
+Dieucicar Saul I don't recommend using 8" or 12" doilies. I have seen 10# doilies on Etsy. You may like to look at the embossed vellum pochette tutorial as an alternative to the doily. ruclips.net/video/gkiMM5rjxLA/видео.html
The ones I made came out great BUT all of our RSVP cards are coming back with black smudge marks. We let the doilies dry for several days before putting them together. It might be caused by the mail sorting machines. If I could redo these I would have put the black return envelopes we used on top of the RSVP cards:(
I'm so glad you gave this project a go! The RSVP cards will have gone through the mail sorting machine which can leave wheel marks and smudges. I'm curious to know if you've asked any of your guests if the invitations arrived with smudges? This would indicate the doily paint has rubbed off, probably when the mail went through the machine. If you have any further feedback please post for us all to see. Thanks!
Jack Wilson Hi Jack, the 10" doilies are really hard to come by. A 12" doily will not have the same effect, it will swim on the invitation. The last place I saw the doilies was at Fort and Field, but I don't know if they are still available.
Any home printer will print the templates. Use a high quality print setting to get the best look. The design is available to print on both 8.5 x 11" paper and A4 paper in the same download. We recommend using paper that is 65lbs to 90 lbs in weight. This is heavier than standard copy for a luxurious feel, but not so heavy that it will jam your printer. The files can be downloaded from the site here: www.downloadandprint.com/templates/vintage-iron-lace-square-invitation-set/
Awesome idea! Question; what envelope size would you recommend for this invitation? I assume that the invitation's design would not survive the post office :o.
+Alex Vergara Thanks for the kind words! Yes, the doily and invitation must be placed into an outer envelope. We have two versions of this template, the square version that prints on 8.5 x 11" paper fits into a 5.5" square envelope.
Hi! I was on the Papermart.com website and I cannot find the 10 inch doilies! :( I can only find the 12 inch, and they look quite different than what you are using. Please help! :) Thank you!
Hi Brea, unfortunately since we come up with this project the doilies have become in short supply. Others have had luck finding them at fortandfield.com. We are working on a redesign that uses another size doily that is readily available.
This invitation is sized for European paper, and fits a 160mm square envelope as seen here: www.ideal-envelopes.co.uk/160_mm_square_envelopes We are working on a US size that will be able to be downloaded at DownloadandPrint.com.
+Theodora Elena We only painted a couple of doilies so I can't tell you exactly how many cans of spray paint you'll need. My gut is each can will cover 50-60 doilies.
Yes, the doily pattern is all aesthetic. You can view our updated tutorial using an 8" doily to see a different look here: ruclips.net/video/cwoJtbBrCUY/видео.html
+Pamela Ebarvia We only painted a couple of doilies so I can't tell you exactly how many cans of spray paint you'll need. My gut is each can will cover 50-60 doilies.
+axa marshal Unfortunately they are now hard to come by, even here in the US. Have you tried searching on Etsy? There were some US sellers that had square doilies, but I can't confirm if they ship internationally.
Delia Burrell We have a square and a rectangular RSVP card. The rectangular card comes in the set that is sized for standard US paper. This RSVP card fits a 4-bar envelope.
Hello I just purchased this template from your site and can not for the life of me figure out how to print the same page template you have that includes the square invitation, the response card & the name tag?
+07hoodstar Thanks for choosing Download & Print! I'm happy to send you the file with all three templates. Can you please write to me at lisa@downloadandprint and I'll send the templates to you via email.
+Melany Cruz Hi! I've had some luck finding the doilies on Etsy www.etsy.com/listing/125055867/50-white-square-10-inch-paper-doilies?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=10%22%20doily&ref=sr_gallery_24
We are using a paper doily such as these here: www.papermart.com/assorted-paper-doilies/id=49824?aref=cj&AID=12306789&PID=6454984&CID=3874144&LNKN=Product+Catalog&PUBN=Rebecca+Zappacosta&SKU=965170808&
I think a 12 x 12" doily would be too big. It would overlap so much that you'd loose the "lace" look. We have updated this tutorial to use 8" doilies, and I actually prefer this look. You can view this video here: ruclips.net/video/cwoJtbBrCUY/видео.html
+jesenia santos We have two versions of this template, the US version and A4 version. Use a 5.5" envelope for the US version, or a 160mm envelope for the A4 version.
Spray paint does have an order when you first apply it, but if you let the doilies dry in a well ventilated place the smell disappears pretty quickly. If you are worried paint the doilies several days before you plan on assembling the invitations.
+Carla Moscoso The square is part of the doily design. When you spray them black the square becomes much more pronounced. We did not fold the doilies until after mounting the invitation.
+Carla Moscoso Lovely! Please check that you can purchase the doilies before buying the template bundle. The doilies became hard to find. If you go through these comments you'll see online stores where people have managed to find the doilies. Good luck with your project!
Richardson Alex Please watch the video for details on how we made the black lace cover. It's just a paper doily spray painted, but the video has all the info.
+Noemy Ayala I have seen 10" doilies on Etsy. They are hard to come by. You may like to look at the embossed vellum pochette tutorial as an alternative to the doily. ruclips.net/video/gkiMM5rjxLA/видео.html
Hi Latoya, yes, 10" doilies are very hard to find! I'd like to say our tutorial caused a worldwide shortage on them :) We updated the tutorial to use 8" doilies as these are easy to find. You can view the updated tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/cwoJtbBrCUY/видео.html And we have a link to the doilies on the website: www.downloadandprint.com/supplies/ Have fun with the project!
Yes! The same template can be used. The 8" doilies won't cross over as far on the invitation. Look at the updated video for how the invitation and doily will look. I think it looks nicer as more of the invitation shows through the doily.
+Patricia R. I'm not sure on the manufacturer. I originally purchased the doilies from Papermart.com. They no longer carry 10" square doilies. PartyatLewis.com also had the exact same doily, but again they don't stock them any longer.
Kabirah Boss the doilies are a little hard to come by these days. I have found an Etsy store that has some good options: www.etsy.com/listing/122993708/100-square-paper-doilies-10-inch-white?ref=shop_home_active_12
+Leilani schick Try searching 10" square doily on Etsy. You will find quite a few options. This is the only place I know where to get them currently. Good luck!
ILUVMYBOYZ20 8" doilies will give you a much different look. The flaps won't fold over as far so will be harder to keep in place. My suggestion is to cut out an 8" square of paper and a 5.25" square of paper (which is the invitation size) and fold them together like you would the doily and invitation. This will give you an idea of what the finished product will look like, and you can see if you think you'll like it.
ILUVMYBOYZ20 I should have mentioned that you can still find 10" doilies on Etsy: www.etsy.com/listing/122993708/100-square-paper-doilies-10-inch-white?ref=shop_home_active_12
The 10" doilies are almost impossible to find now, so we've updated the project using 8" doilies which you can find easily online. See the updated project here: www.downloadandprint.com/blog/diy-vintage-iron-wedding-invitation/ We've linked to doily suppliers here (scroll down to embellishments): www.downloadandprint.com/supplies/
+MJ DuBarr Try searching 10" square doily on Etsy. You will find quite a few options. This is the only place I know where to get them currently. Good luck!
Really wanted to try this..getting square doilies in the uk is near impossible :( x if anyone finds a die to make this, (perhaps a corner die?) please comment..I would be forever grateful ;) x
We've used a vintage doily edge punch in one of our projects. It doesn't quite give the same effect as a doily. You can see the punch here: www.downloadandprint.com/supplies/
Karina Montanez I used Krylon Colormaster black spray paint. You can use any spray paint as long as it is compatible with paper. It will say this on the can. Very important!
Hi Christeen, the 10" doilies are hard to find so we have updated the tutorial using 8" doilies. 8" doilies are much easier to find. A search on Amazon, Etsy or at Papermart should give you options. Here is the updated tutorial: ruclips.net/video/cwoJtbBrCUY/видео.html
this is AMAZING!!!!! my wedding is in August and this has saved my life lol I'm getting EVERYONE on this! you are a blessing. God bless you :-)
Awesome! We'd love to see a pic of your finished invitations! We love featuring customer projects. You can send it through downloadandprint.com. Congratulations on your August wedding!
The finished invitation size is 5.25 x 5.25". It will not fit in an 8" doily, must be 10".

Its all my pleasure to show you one.
Kimberly Head-Jenkins I'm glad you love the invitation! It's not possible for you to change the color, but we do offer a color change service and are happy to do this for you. When ordering the template from our website check the 'need to change colors' box before adding the template to your cart.
+DownloadAndPrint can you please send the link on how to order the template and change the color.. Thank you.
Wow! Easy, cheap and elegant.
i found 10" square doilies on Etsy. i ordered them 2 days ago and they jus came and IM SO EXCITED
Yay!! That is exciting! Have fun making your invitations!!
what size square envelopes for the 10" version??
This will depend on the size invitation you are using. If you are using the 5.25" square invitation you can use a 5.5" square envelope, or slightly larger.
Wow awesome video! I'm going to make mine gold for my wedding! Great video!
Ruby Robles Sounds wonderful!
+Teena Thomas, unfortunately this 10" doily is no longer available. We've updated the project using an 8" doily. You can find this doily
here under embellishments www.downloadandprint.com/supplies/
Also check the projects section on our website for the updated tutorial.

Wonderful! We'd love to see a picture of your finished invitations: lisa@downloadandprint.com
Thank you. Thats is such a lovely idea. I just need to find square doilies as pretty as those.
I'm so happy you like the project Annette! People have had luck finding the doilies at fortandfield.com.
Thanks for the reply and the information. I have no idea why the UK has no stock of these type of doilies. Once again I am so impressed!!
Hi! I really love the doily design. has anyone been able to find these exact ones? Please let me know! Thanks for the great tutorial.
what size is the invitation card inside the Doily paper? also could i use a 8" square Doily or does is have to be 10"?
Where did you get the paper that has the actual information printed on?
Try using a stazon ink pad instead. No smell.
Such a beautiful idea!!!
***** Hi Vanessa, the finished invitation fits in a 5.5" square envelope.
I really loved this idea. But there is no more Doilies available do you know where I can find more? Please help me out.
Another commenter found doilies at fortandfield.com. Good luck!
love this ideal, iam on a budget this will work really good for us. :)
I love this but my color is Coblat Blue.... how can I change the color?
Love this idea! Thank you for sharing :)

I ordered this template today and was wondering where the rsvp and little name tags on the front are??? How can I get those as well....
Donna Lawrence Hey Donna, I shot you an email with a coupon code to upgrade to the bundle.
Does the spray paint wrinkle the doily? Will the paint come off onto the invitation?

Hello Which pc programm do you use for the sign ???
Emine Ya The templates open in MS Word and Mac Pages. I've also had people use them in LibreOffice with success.
What size envelope is best to use when mailing out the invites?
Kabirah Boss the invitation fits in a 5.5" square envelope.
I love it beautiful
Anyone know where I could find the 10'' paper doilies? I've checked Amazon, Papermart and FortandField?
Andi Corbitt Fort and Field was the last place that I saw them available. Try checking Etsy and Ebay. Good luck!
I can send you some. Email me christina.lynne0@gmail.com
Hi! I can't find 10" doilies on papermart.com. I would love to do these invitations for my wedding. Where can I find the 10" doilies please?
I have have some doilies, email me and we can figure something out christina.lynne0@gmail.com
lleslie17 The last place I saw the doilies for sale was at fortandfield.com
What about envelopes? What size do you recommend and where to find them?
This invitation is sized for European paper, and fits a 160mm square envelope as seen here: www.ideal-envelopes.co.uk/160_mm_square_envelopes
We are working on a US size that will be able to be downloaded at DownloadandPrint.com.
DownloadAndPrint Just saw this link thank you :)
Can you please approximate how many spray cans do i need for 180 invitations? Thank you :)
+Theodora Elena We only painted a couple of doilies so I can't tell you exactly how many cans of spray paint you'll need. My gut is each can will cover 50-60 doilies.
would it still work if i used 10" doilies that dont have the square in the middle? the dolies is just all the design
Yes, the doily pattern is all aesthetic. You can view our updated tutorial using an 8" doily to see a different look here: ruclips.net/video/cwoJtbBrCUY/видео.html
i love it ! definitely gonna try this idea. wen i do, ill let you know :)
can a 8 inch doily work as well or does it have to be a 10 inch??
+Ana Trujillo An 8" doily will make your invitation very small. I wouldn't recommend this. Try searching on Etsy for 10" doilies.
Okay thank you!
Great video and idea, but do you mail this?
Yes! You will put the doily pocket and invitation into an outer envelope for mailing. Either a 5.75" or 6" square envelope will work for mailing.
hi i am on papermart.com i do not see a 10 inch square doilie. they have 10 inch rectangular and 12 inch square
I have these doilies, email me and we can figure something out christina.lynne0@gmail.com
Glenice Bennette The last place I saw the doilies for sale was at fortandfield.com
What is the size of the template? Thank you
Do you think i could fit a square pocket invitation into this envelope?
+uniqueladi0907 You could fit a 5.25" square pocket inside the doily. That is not a standard size pocket so may be hard to find.
Did you use paper doilies? or a plastic kind of material?
Also I would like to be entered to win them.. :-)
My wedding is March 8, 2015
The doilies are paper. Unfortunately the contest has now closed.
how many doilies were you able to do with 1 spray can?
+Pamela Ebarvia We only painted a couple of doilies so I can't tell you exactly how many cans of spray paint you'll need. My gut is each can will cover 50-60 doilies.
I live in the UK and can't find a square doily anywhere :(
+axa marshal Unfortunately they are now hard to come by, even here in the US. Have you tried searching on Etsy? There were some US sellers that had square doilies, but I can't confirm if they ship internationally.
What size envelope is used for the reply card?
Delia Burrell We have a square and a rectangular RSVP card. The rectangular card comes in the set that is sized for standard US paper. This RSVP card fits a 4-bar envelope.
Hello I just purchased this template from your site and can not for the life of me figure out how to print the same page template you have that includes the square invitation, the response card & the name tag?
+07hoodstar Thanks for choosing Download & Print! I'm happy to send you the file with all three templates. Can you please write to me at lisa@downloadandprint and I'll send the templates to you via email.
Hi! they only have the doily paper in 8" and 12"
+Melany Cruz Hi! I've had some luck finding the doilies on Etsy www.etsy.com/listing/125055867/50-white-square-10-inch-paper-doilies?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=10%22%20doily&ref=sr_gallery_24
Hi is that paper doilies or like a plastic ?
We are using a paper doily such as these here: www.papermart.com/assorted-paper-doilies/id=49824?aref=cj&AID=12306789&PID=6454984&CID=3874144&LNKN=Product+Catalog&PUBN=Rebecca+Zappacosta&SKU=965170808&
What size rsvp envelope did you use?
It actually says on the template "Card fits 113mm square envelopes" . I didn't notice the writing at first either.
Can this be done with a 12x12" doilie from PaperMate?
I think a 12 x 12" doily would be too big. It would overlap so much that you'd loose the "lace" look. We have updated this tutorial to use 8" doilies, and I actually prefer this look. You can view this video here: ruclips.net/video/cwoJtbBrCUY/видео.html
Thank you so much! Another quick question, what would you recommend using: double sided tape or glue dots for the ribbon?
Either will work fine, the glue dots will probably hold a little better so that is my recommendation.
what size envelope is good for this invite?
+jesenia santos We have two versions of this template, the US version and A4 version. Use a 5.5" envelope for the US version, or a 160mm envelope for the A4 version.
beautiful!
Thank you!
The paint doesn't leave an unpleasant smell?
Spray paint does have an order when you first apply it, but if you let the doilies dry in a well ventilated place the smell disappears pretty quickly. If you are worried paint the doilies several days before you plan on assembling the invitations.
How did you put it to dry so it can have that square in the middle?
+Carla Moscoso We sprayed one side, let it dry (it dries really fast if you do a light spray), then flipped over the doily and sprayed the other side.
+DownloadAndPrint I meant how do you get that perfect square right in the middle did you bend it at some point and put something in the middle?
+Carla Moscoso The square is part of the doily design. When you spray them black the square becomes much more pronounced. We did not fold the doilies until after mounting the invitation.
DownloadAndPrint thank you I'm about to order !! Yours is the only ones I found with that perfect square in the middle
+Carla Moscoso Lovely! Please check that you can purchase the doilies before buying the template bundle. The doilies became hard to find. If you go through these comments you'll see online stores where people have managed to find the doilies. Good luck with your project!
What size envelopes did you use?
The invitation fits a 160mm square envelope as seen here: www.ideal-envelopes.co.uk/160_mm_square_envelopes
How the black cover is made ??
Richardson Alex Please watch the video for details on how we made the black lace cover. It's just a paper doily spray painted, but the video has all the info.
What size are the Doilies...8 or 10 inch?
Hi Pam, the doilies are 10".
can you please send me the link to bundle.
+Melissa martinez Here you go! www.downloadandprint.com/templates/vintage-iron-lace-square-invitation-set/
Can't find this type of doily please help!
+Noemy Ayala I have seen 10" doilies on Etsy. They are hard to come by. You may like to look at the embossed vellum pochette tutorial as an alternative to the doily. ruclips.net/video/gkiMM5rjxLA/видео.html
I cannot find square 10" doilies. They are sold out everywhere.... please help!!
Hi Latoya, yes, 10" doilies are very hard to find! I'd like to say our tutorial caused a worldwide shortage on them :) We updated the tutorial to use 8" doilies as these are easy to find. You can view the updated tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/cwoJtbBrCUY/видео.html And we have a link to the doilies on the website: www.downloadandprint.com/supplies/ Have fun with the project!
ive already purchased the templates for the 10" can the same template be used for the 8" ???
Yes! The same template can be used. The 8" doilies won't cross over as far on the invitation. Look at the updated video for how the invitation and doily will look. I think it looks nicer as more of the invitation shows through the doily.
Are all the measurements for the template all the same for an 8" doily?
Yes, our standard size wedding invitation will fit in an 8" or 10" doily.
+downloanandprint Who's tha manufacturer of the doilies?
+Patricia R. I'm not sure on the manufacturer. I originally purchased the doilies from Papermart.com. They no longer carry 10" square doilies. PartyatLewis.com also had the exact same doily, but again they don't stock them any longer.
Where can I find these doilies ?
Kabirah Boss the doilies are a little hard to come by these days. I have found an Etsy store that has some good options: www.etsy.com/listing/122993708/100-square-paper-doilies-10-inch-white?ref=shop_home_active_12
where did you purchase the doiley?
+Leilani schick Try searching 10" square doily on Etsy. You will find quite a few options. This is the only place I know where to get them currently. Good luck!
Does this work as an envelope for mailing?
Hi, no it will not work for mailing. You will need to put the lace envelope and invitation into a 5.5" square envelope for mailing.
I can't find the 10" doilies is 8" OK?
What size is the invitation template?
+9paolacrystal The invitation is trimmed to 5" square.
I need help finding the doilies
The 10" doilies are almost impossible to find now, so we've updated the project using 8" doilies which you can find easily online. See the updated project here: www.downloadandprint.com/blog/diy-vintage-iron-wedding-invitation/
We've linked to doily suppliers here (scroll down to embellishments): www.downloadandprint.com/supplies/
sold out online and I'm sad.
+MJ DuBarr Try searching 10" square doily on Etsy. You will find quite a few options. This is the only place I know where to get them currently. Good luck!
I downloaded this and the spacing is totally off! Half of the words are completely cut off.
NVM - I figured it out!!
I'm glad you figured it out! It sounds like you needed to download the matching fonts, this should have fixed all formatting issues.

No encuentro ese modelo =( de "doily"
There's a link to the 8" doilies here: www.downloadandprint.com/supplies/
Really wanted to try this..getting square doilies in the uk is near impossible :( x
if anyone finds a die to make this, (perhaps a corner die?) please comment..I would be forever grateful ;) x
We've used a vintage doily edge punch in one of our projects. It doesn't quite give the same effect as a doily. You can see the punch here: www.downloadandprint.com/supplies/
thank you. will try that x
What kind of spray paint did you use?
Karina Montanez I used Krylon Colormaster black spray paint. You can use any spray paint as long as it is compatible with paper. It will say this on the can. Very important!
Can I use reg 8.5 x 11 cardstock?
+Stephanie Lolley Yes! All our invitations print on 8.5 x 11" card stock and then get trimmed to size.
When i put them in an envelope can the whole entire invitation fit? Including the doilie?
where can i get these doilies?
Hi Christeen, the 10" doilies are hard to find so we have updated the tutorial using 8" doilies. 8" doilies are much easier to find. A search on Amazon, Etsy or at Papermart should give you options. Here is the updated tutorial: ruclips.net/video/cwoJtbBrCUY/видео.html
what size is the invitation?
The invitation in the video 5.25" square. We also have a 5" square version.

Hi Carla, can I answer any questions regarding the tutorial?
