I think the difference here is that HZD's team wanted to make the world *look* real, whereas Zelda's team wanted to make the world *feel* real. Two very different approachs!
So the point here is: Horizon looks photo realistic, but the physics are cartoonish. On the other Hand Breath of the wild looks like a Cartoon, but the physics are realistic. ...what an Ironie
There are no physics in Horizon Zero Dawn. No footprints, cant cut the grass or cut down trees with the sword etc The blades of grass only move in certain areas when she walks through it. The character moves as if she's not really in the game on land or in the water. The other people in the game doesn't even react to her presence its like she's invisible to the games environment . I could go on but the proof is in the game and Zelda is better in every way.
Bob bobinson Yeah, just look at Zelda or Link faces, it looks more like anime than a cartoon. Also is made an animated by japanese people, so is anime.
Ce I would hardly call it anime, because most characters don't look anime like. And just because it's made by a Japanese company doesn't automatically make it "anime". If you really want a Nintendo game with an anime art style, look at fire emblem awakening and fire emblem fates
Am I the only one that kinda hopes that Mass Effect: Andromeda ends not by anything the player character does, but by a random shell fired hundreds of years ago in the Milky Way galaxy slamming into the final boss's headquarters?
I haven’t played horizon, I’m pretty surprised to see that zeldas world is actually more interactive. I think it goes to show that “realism” isn’t always “photorealism.”
And to think that horizon was being developed for a long long time. What a miserable game if you ask me. Not a sony fanboy or nintendo fanboy. I have horizon zero dawn game and i really don't like it.
I feel sorry for the people who only want "realistic" graphics and can't appreciate all forms of art style and concepts. Like really. There's so much more to a game than how it looks folks. Hell, games like Ratchet and Clank doesn't look realistic, but by far are some of the best looking games of their time. You guys really need to expand your ideas of what a "beautiful" game is. What's the point of having a beautiful game if it lacks depth?
One of my favourite things about the Zelda franchise is that I can immediately identify a game from the massive franchise just based on the design, art style, music, sounds effects, graphics etc. Nintendo once mentioned that at one point they were trying to create the most realistic games possible, but then chose not to as they believed it would only get lost in a sea of other franchises competing for realism. And they couldn't have been more correct
but it had the worst story, dungeons and music of any zelda game, it needs more than just a good world to be a perfect game. I LOVE breath of the wild and think its fantastic, but it isn't near perfect, hardly any game is
@@tomhussey9994 well, first of all I said "game design", because you have open world, every place you see can be accessed, a lot of ways of interaction with environment and enemies, all the items in the world have meaning and value, etc. Normally games either a corridor run or generic empty open world that you can't do much in. And since I'm not a fan of series, older games hardly have anything better than the current one, except the nostalgic value for the fans.
Thomas Hussey those are some really good points. And the weapon durability seemed a bit too low. And botw would’ve been a great opportunity for underwater exploration, with the open world design and everything. Hopefully the sequel can improve on all that stuff
@@tomhussey9994 maybe the story isnt the Best, but botw has the Best character construction and development in any Zelda game, i think the characters Is More important than the main story
Here's the proof that realistic graphics doesn't guarantee a "realistic" game. It's all about the details when it comes to gameplay and Breath of the Wild kills it. Horizon still a great game though.
I think BotW looks prettier but is a weaker game imo with awfully simplistic combat, terrible weapon system, shamefully mediocre story and an empty boring open world.
Clearly you haven't seen the comments section of Digital Foundry. Nothing but insecure console fanboys (kids) waving their non existent dicks at each other.
Horizon looks more detailed, but I just really loved the art style in Zelda, the amount you can interact with your environment, and that it's Zelda. But really, I will take more things to do over shiny visuals any day.
Helgan Hahaa.. no, actually the switch could run this game at 60fps too, the issue is that this game wasn't planned for the switch, it was planned for wii u and then nintendo did a shitty port just to boost the switch sales and because the wii u was dying, if this game was built for the switch hardware it'd run bettet
Helgan never heard of emulators? Also if you have a powerful pc and a well made emulator that can boost the game graphics i have no doubts it will run better
its clear that the world in horizon is more beautiful and well detailed, but it lacks interactiveness, the world doesn't feel as alive as in zelda. And for me, the most important thing is how immersed you feel. Zelda has some amazing physics, applied in a very smart way and that lack in the horizon gameplay.
morpheus305 you should probably look up why Zelda breath of the wild had so much empty space, there's literally a detailed video explaining it in a very clear and informative way of why it's the way it is.
+Liam 9001 Agreed, but i kinda like those open spaces. Just sit somewhere calm and empty to pay atention on the local life there. So many atention to the details!! the animals, the wind, the weather... I just love it
Both games have a lot of realism points, HZD *looks* very realistic but BOTW *interacts* very realistically. If something makes sense in the context of the BOTW world, it probably works. Like how you smash a flint with a metal sword to start a fire, or you can shoot it with an arrow instead to make the spark.
@bluehawk56 I haven't played much genshin impact, but seeing as botw is one of the best games I've played in my entire life, I'd say it is probably a lot better. Not as sexy, but also not riddled with microtransactions that make horny people go bankrupt.
I gotta say, the graphics were looking better on Zelda in almost all these shots. Especially the water and environment, the skybox, etc. The only thing that looked better than Zelda in HZD was the back of the main character's head.
John Redcorn You are so brainwashed by nintendo and zelda I can sense your faboism where I sit. How in the hell do you think zelda has better graphics than HzD. Some animations look more refined but you gotta be kidding me. HzD is the most stunning game visually on the ps4 right now alongside uncharted 4 and you think BotW superceeds it graphically?. Im sorry but you dont just sound one sided, you sound ignorant to what good graphics are.
El Bottoo In terms of Dragonquest, while the Vita did come close to the Switch in FPS performance, you have to remember that the port for the Switch was most definitely rushed, resulting in poor performance on the Switch side. And I have to admit, I'm not very fond of Sony, but they did a wonderful job on this game. (Horizon, that is.) I hope you can understand my points of the argument. And on terms of graphics between the next-gen consoles, we will have to wait for a Cross Platform game that is being made on Xbox, PS4, and Switch all at the same time.
I find that the more detailed a game looks, the more jarring a moment it is when you want to interact with something but you cant. 4K textures are great and all, but I so wish that this generation was more about physics engines and interactivity rather than sharper textures and all that. It's just so much more disc space for game experiences that you have played before. Whilst chopping at grass and trees isn't really a mechanic you want in every game, I find that certain things should have a cause and effect, if you have trees and have a sharp swords it makes sense to damage said tree and not just ignore the fact that it is there altogether. Or get the sword stuck in a tree so you would avoid trees in combat not just hit it down in one or two clean swipes. These newer games should take these details into consideration. They look good, but don't interact consistently so the meaning "open world" differs from developer to developer
THIS THIS IS the reason why Red Dead Redemption 2 is a failure fuck realistic physics remember that we play games for fun and not doing pointless things and being slow as fuck because of animations and animations but it has even unrealistic gameplay = aimbot
@@stabblecld RDR2 a failure? Pretty sure it did quite well. The physics don't have to be 100% realistic, but I want to throw things off cliffs and watch them tumble, and I want to destroy the environment I'm in, and I want realistic destruction of cars in racing sims. Real world physics make us all act boring, true, but if you apply real world physics to little or no consequences, then it becomes incredibly fun. In real life if I go and take a bulldozer to a house, a bunch of things are gonna snap, crack, fall over, etc. If I don't get injured from all that, I'll go to prison. In most video games today, taking a bulldozer to a house would just stop the bulldozer and no damage would come to the house. I want a game where I can bulldoze a house in a realistic way, while also taking 100 shots without flinching.
Felice It is true, but remember that you have to break it's container, and I think that a arrow going that fast will break into the water, making it impossible to ignite.
viltrax 85. wtf..lol seriously? i dont know if thats sarcastic...they didnt even try to make it realistic..its just eye candy lol. Botw did it right lol. It may not look as pretty, but thats all HZ freaken dawn is just a shallow piece of candy for people just as shallow as the game lol
Colby Fritz . I dont think that was nessisary for just an opinion over a video game. Anyways, reported. U seem not only shallow but have an anger problem aswell..
I wanted game companies to think about sacrificing graphics and adding more interaction with the environment and creating a natural world where grams grow and the landscape can change, I believe Zelda is on the right track.
unexpected fart As i can see, you're trying to learn spanish, if u want, you can mail me to gatopleon@gmail.com and i can teach you some things, as i have a very good grammar in spanish. And maybe you can also help me to perfect my english :)
They really are. I am so thankful for both but especially Nintendo for hundreds of reasons. Thanks to Switch I truly opened my eyes and now I can finally see the true light of the gaming industry, which is Nintendo. I was mindblown when I found out Nintendo is the creator of Playstation 1. Insane. Nintendo has evolved and revolutionized the gaming industry countless times. We all need to thank them for making the gaming world as it is today. And curse Microsoft, EA & Ubisoft for scamming us all with microtransactions and lootboxes, especially Microsoft for creating microtransactions in the first place. Activision should be cursed at as well. All the big western companies need to be destroyed and remade into something healthy.
+ReachStudioPro The "True light" of gaming is PC tho Yeah, Nintendo games are awesome and beautiful, I love them as much as everyone else and they are a important part of everyone's chilhood, but from a objective point of view, PC is the way to go More options for the consumer, in terms of services, hardware, graphical options, etc Free online Actually cheaper than consoles True king of backwards compatibility Emulators wich help preserve videogames, unlike consoles do And the Switch is a good console indeed, but Nintendo it's not the way to go at all
Melvin Frazier Ummm if you buy a 500$ PC you already have better quality than a console does You dont need a 1000$ PC You literally need to do one google search to see that is not true instead of just pulling out of your ass that you need to pay "More than a PS4, XoneX and a Switch combined" Ever heard of the potato masher? Also, where's the point? EVEN IF YOUR PC IS CHEAP YOU ARE SAVING WAY MORE MONEY THAN PLAYING ON A CONSOLE, THAT'S THE POINT
ReachStudioPro the funny thing is nintendo made everytime mistakes with playstation^^ nintendo thought that cd's would be a bad idea and playstation invent it to the consoles and look what the nintendo is using now ;) they would own playstation if they wouldnt be so dumb 20 years ago
@Cool username dude Well the cool thing about Horizon is that it proved that rpg-lite open world games dont all have to be shit. Turns out if you take Farcry (Running around shooting people, doing pointless side shit, climbing towers) and actually add some good gameplay the formula still works. This is the shit dumbass nintendo will never learn. They wanna make all this gimmicky crap like a console that can be played six different ways (none of them optimal) and they think people will just buy up their shit just because its original? When shit is unfamiliar just for the sake of being different it doesn't always work out. This is what games like Horizon, DOOM '16, and Resident Evil 7 are cashing in on. Most people would rather have something familiar but exceptionally refined instead of something thats trying to change the way we play video games forever. And shit im all for new cool shit its just in video games convention is not always a bad thing.
@@binsakamassa4074 botw was developed for 5 years, lol. It's a lot of effort and the OG commentator didn't say that Guerilla games didn't put any effort on HZD.
@@MattiaIshi i wouldnt say trash. Its pretty good but yeah its overrated. Doing all the extra stuff to get 100% is boring. Finishing all the shrines is a waste of time since you dont need that many hearts to even beat the game, the korok seeds are useless to get too and there are too many of them. The side quests are meh, and usually just the same thing in different locations
@@lightyagami8645 If you watch the GDC 2017, the art director said wind waker is the reason behind they pick the artstyle for breath of the wild. Wind waker release in 2002 while shadow of the colossus release in 2005. So is Wind waker travel to future and copy shadow of colossus's artstyle?
There were three moments where I noticed the lack of effort in details on Horizon. The first was when I started fighting a corruptor. I was on the edge of a wooden platform, and then he launched a fireball on me. The wood started to burn, but it soon faded away. The second was when I was fighting a snapmaw. I shot a fire arrow, and he started burning... On the water. And the third was on Meridian, and I walked on a corn farm. The corn didn't move at all, and Alloy passed through it like a ghost.
@@jackiekwokhk what the hell? You can see ants climbing trees with grass in their mouths, every peace of grass is individual, Aloys hair moves when she walks and jumps like in reality, the game has Humor, the graphics are stunning and so much more. Just be quiet because you obviously don't even know what details are, do you? And yes, horizen zero dawn is one of the games with the most details and effort put into.
@@avillence_hollow9342 Please calm down. I don't agree but still respect your opinion. I'm not saying there's no details at all in HZD. It's just not much comparing to games like Breath of the Wild or Red Dead Redemption 2. Or if you can share a video of showing details of HZD over those games, I would love to see it.
Pedro Ataide Almeida because it didn't make senses if you cut down grass and suddenly there's rupee out of nowhere. it's like "abracadabra boom there's rupee" while you cut down grass
At the end of the day, they are both great games. The art style of BotW does help with adding other mechanics where as HZD has more to render or whatever. Not gonna go choosing faves because they are different games doing deferent things.
Breath of the Wild won game of the year, so obviously people disagree with you. When people have to choose which is better, Zelda wins. You can make excuses all you want about "not judging", but only because you know if people do look at it critically they'll see the truth. So underhanded, Sony fanboys lol
THEGREATMAX Okay you need to calm down. If anything, you’re the one that sounds more like a fanboy. This person is simply trying to avoid conflict and you’re sounding like you want to start some. Not everyone wants a switch and not everyone wants a ps4 or an Xbox or pc. People just need to calm down and stop stroking their egos.
"Breath of the Wild won the game of the year so it has to be better because opinions can't exist and im a nintendo fan everyone else sucks fuck you everyone sony sucks idiots im a kid and i shouls grow up" Fucking idiot thinks his opinion is the right one, everyone has their own opinions and yours wouldnt be shit if you didnt call everyone else shit
+U. “The Incompetent” Batora correcto.
I remember being salty watching zelda and horizon trailers, because I wished to have a Zelda game with horizon graphic. Then I played more than 100 hours with Zelda and less than 20 with Horizon, that I found really boring after finishing Zelda
Yeah, you definetivly should not play horizon after zelda, they are are "similar" games but Zelda is far far better (Horizon is great dont get me wrong) so if you play in that order you may underrate Horizon more than it deserves
I was thinking the same. I came into this video almost rolling my eyes, because I thought obviously Horizon would look better because it's Ps4 vs Switch. Despite Horizon being more detailed, Breath of the Wild ends up impressing much more because of the ways you can interact with the environment and, thanks to the cartoony aesthetic, it holds up just fine despite having less fidelity. Really sells you on the idea of a living breathing world much moreso, like your character is actually there and can impact it.
MajorPhilGraves if that’s keeps you from buying the game it shouldn’t. I just finished the game today and it was amazing. For me the world is so alive mostly because of the people and the game has a culture of its own. You can find bandits walking around in the wild and sometimes they are fighting machines or they will fight you. The world seems very alive to me but i agree aloy can’t do much to affect the environment but the machines can knock down trees, destroy cactus and destroy rocks.
@@funtikthewobblycat I guess it does if all you're looking for is realistic physic simulation. Don't get me wrong, I loved Zelda, and I think it's a better game overall, but not because of nitpicky shit like this.
yeah. WORLD INTERACTION botw > hzd however, combat is different because the complexity of hzd machines invloves quick outside the box thinking always keeping you on the edge of your seat COMBAT botw < hzd visuals.. jk, they're made on 2 completely different platforms, impossible to compare anyways, id say both games are equally enjoyable
It really does...sure the more "realistic" graphics make it look pretty but it's just a backdrop, nothing can be interacted with. You don't even get interactions with the grass you're walking on. Even the water has zero interactivity.
Actually, you've manipulated it a bit. Here is reality.... PS Fanboy: "Horizon Zero Dawn is Guerilla's first open world game." You (Nintendo fanboy): "Fire burning underwater. Really?" Rest of the world: "Water in HZD contains oil, hence mechs drinking from the water, hence why the water can be ignited"
@@PedalPoopers water contains oil, what a poor excuse, then why is she swimming like nothing? I mean, put oil in pool then swim on it and see how it goes
Probably because she was trained to deal with harsh conditions. It's not too hard to believe, is it? Have you ever heard of mechanical robots drinking water to replenish their bodies? Thought so, Neither have I.
Horizon Zero Dawn clearly has better graphics, minus when the character attacks, because then the character blurs (WTF?!), but the vegetation barely moves at all and is nowhere near as smooth and refreshing as in The Legend of Zelda: Breath in the Wild. What's cool about this (and the art direction both have) is that Breath in the Wild does more with less. Nevertheless, both games look and feel fantastic, each one in their own way and having each their own merit. I honestly want to buy both, after watching so much gameplay from them and my coworkers talking non-stop about them. I particularly like the Shadow of the Colossus approaches this Zelda game also had, among many other great inspirations.
I have no idea how you see that Horizon has better graphics. It looks like every other open-world game out there. Zelda has a timeless art style. It will never look bad.
Zelda BoTW: It's like a real girlfriend. Tends to look rough on the edges (jaggies) but you can have full physical and emotion interaction with. Horizon ZD: It's like your 2D/3D waifu. Perfect but almost no interaction.
Baseball as a newer pc player I sold my Xbox one and other console all but Nintendo. As much as I hate apple for doing it. Nintendo makes it to where you have to get Nintendo hardware to get the best out of it's software. But they do it right. Can't say I love my switch cause it is a zelda machine right now. But I hope I learn to love it.
You can actually damage trees in HZD using explosives or let machines knock them down. The animations of trees being destroyed and how they are left as physical objects after destruction are amazing.
Horizon Zero Dawn = Buy Decima engine rights, make game on Decima engine, ???, Profit Zelda = GTA V = both games pay absolute attention to minor details. AI reaction , Water physics, gravity, Fire interaction, projectiles and literally everything is double checked. Top games from top developers.
WSWEss GTA V dropped some features on purpose Change in AI behaviour and physics in GTA V had multiple reasons, related to story and gameplay Even water physics was changed to enable scuba diving, police behaviour became more aggressive. Those aren't even details. Those are on purpose
i just came back to botw after months of not playing and forgot how interactive the world is. you could tie balloons to a bomb blow them to enemy camps with a leaf and detonate it. its the krazy moments like those that makes you love the game
DEL 1337 The damn thing is a handheld with an extra function to connect to the TV if you really want. The gameboy back in the 90s had this feature, but no one called it a home console.
pramath1605 Why be salty? I love Zelda. And I havnt even played Horizon. But everyone keeps acting like what Zelda has done is something "new"... Honestly, All I see here is everything you can already do on a simple game like Minecraft. We gonna start saying Minecraft is the best!?!? God I hope not. lol.
I bought BOTW release date, and just last month realized you can´t use Cryonis on the thermal waters. And just like boiled eggs. It makes perfect sense.
I think one of the things I don't like about HZD is that unlike BOTW, you can't just take a leisurely stroll through the nice scenery without encountering an angry machine every 10 ft.
Horizon obviously has nor advance graphics and shadings (I won't even say better, just more technologically advanced, as Zelda has a cartoonish style that fits perfectly for what it is)... But the polishing and care put into Zelda is years ahead of Horizon...
well that 100 mil was wel spent huh? Nintendo absolutely schooled Sony at their own game get over it and it was actually Nintendo's game to begin with. now you've all seen the quality that is Nintendo. this is what it looks like when people care about their game they're making. your blind
It's not a war... It's fine to compare games. I had no doubts Horizon is a beautiful awesome game, as is Zelda.. but Zelda does look like years ahead in what you can do in video games.. it's almost scary how consistent the world is. I haven't play neither games at this point but I will play both. I have a PS4 but don't have a Switch.. but I am holding back at PS4 games at the moment because I want to wait till I have a PRO before playing these new games... similar situation, I have a WiiU, but I will wait to play it when I have a Switch.
Comparing both of them is honestly a little silly. Yes, Horizon shits on Zelda based on poly count, shading, and detail, but the world is a cardboard cutout that defy physic and you cant really interact with almost anything that isnt scripted. Zelda on the hand, everything interacts with everything, as you said, the polish and care put in to it is jaw dropping and clearly years ahead of what Guerrilla did.
Everyone who likes Zelda more and hates/dislikes dis comment,u can easily get ur butt out of this comments answers,I am replying how bad as some Zelda fans replayed to Shkarbait Master 😊☺
Yeah Horizon looks more realistic in the Graphics, but thats the only thing that Horizon has better than BOTW, for me. The only problem with BOTW is the Switch, some times the frames go down, but they can fix it, they did the same with Pokemon Sun and Moon , but they will need time.
Honestly, it's really surprising how much difference an art style can make. I hate to defend such a well-recieved game but I can't help but feel like Zelda just _looks_ better in some ways.
horizon is pretty fun when there's action, and if you're on hard mode, fighting enemies, which is the same for zelda, but in zelda you can actually do way more than in horizon, you can walk and the grass moves around you, you can set grass on fire, float, and etc. lower modes on horizon is honestly too easy. zelda is just more fun in my opinon.
Playsation players in 2017 : Horizon Zero Dawn is so cool ! Nintendo players in 2017 : Zelda is so cool ! Xbox players in 2017 : Um.....Minecraft looks so cool !
BOTW graphics aren't the best but the geometry and physics are so amazing. No wonder why it is a better game than horizon. Both games are great but Zelda is just a work of art despite of the switch graphical limitations.
Captain Dumbass graphics of botw look amazing imo tho. Onyl the sometimes pixelated textures are meh. Overall the cartoony graphics are really cool imo
Hang on dumbass. lol. BoTW is a Wii U port. Now that we have a much more powerful system, Nintendo can really do their thing with Zelda. I'm looking at a 2019 or 2020 release date? They normally release Zelda games every other year.
The developers just didn't add physics for arrows being picked up because crafting they probably ignored that or would use the excuse the bow is to powerful so it shoots out of sight. As far as water and spreading fire well guerrilla has always been known for making amazing graphics and environments but even in killzone fire was lackluster and didn't spread at least in horizon the rain extinguished flame arrows. Now I started liking Zelda late with a link between world's but it's obvious the years of expertise and and care that goes into Zelda games especially this one that breaks boundaries of previous Zelda games and though I've liked guerrilla and their killzone series since one and played all of them even portable admiring graphics I can say detail to physics and elements looks just as great for a stylistic cell shaded game.
Well, Zelda it's more artistic than horizon, this one is just hipper realistic. But in my opinion both are amazing. They have a different conceptual art.
You barely find spanish Nintendo fans, speaking from experience, I knew only one person who liked Nintendo like me in my school and he was as amazed at finding me as I was at finding him lol, Sony usually dominates everywhere else.
Track308 Not zelda haters, just critics who should rightly be here to point out the difference between a stallion and a pony. Dont take that out of context. I love both games but id like to point out the vast difference in graphics from that of HzD to Zelda. This video dulls out the true colors of HzD which you cant see compared to its graphics on a TV. Zelda as well but it affects hzd more.
PureShores the point of the video is to accentuate the details compared to Horizon, that lacks them. Everyone already knows the PS4 is more powerful and that Horizon has higher textures, also they are two completely different art styles and it's therefore subjective and not really fair to compare, for example I find Horizon to look boring and generic while some people think BotW looks like an ugly PS2 game which makes no sense to me but maybe me thinking horizon looks generic makes no sense to them.
MadCrain I get your point that certain refined details on zeldas accord pertain for the better part in this video to that of hzd such as the bellowing fire and certain enviormental animations. You dont understand why people think zelda looks dubed down or more graphically disinclined, but you do accept HzD to be graphically bland and boring?. Thats where I get lost with your comment as well as other people here that are taking the videos description out of context to actually belive the graphics are better. Thats what initally arose me to post.
PureShores I'm not passing my opinion as fact I'm simply stating that comparing the two is completely subjective cause the video was meant to show Nintendo's trademark attention to detail, but I also pointed out how if I had to choose I'd go with Zelda cause I'm so bored of realistic graphics it just all looks the same, it feels like every game is being made by Ubisoft. I understand not liking the art style but to point out HZD has better graphics is like saying water is wet, it's a no shit situation considering the PS4's power, I simply stated my opinion as an example of how tastes are subjective since people might think I'm crazy for liking Zelda more than HZD Also I do understand why I just don't agree at all, comparing BotW to a Ps2 game as many are doing here is simply hateful trolling.
okay, I seriously thought "what is this shit? you can't even compare these two games at all. the switch is obviously not as powerful as a PS4" and then Breath of the Wild just wiped the floor with Horizon Zero Dawn
zZiL341yRj736 yes, absolutely and no. in this video both games are compared in their map design and teh used technologies. while HZD looks amazing at the first glance there is nothing special about this game. it only looks good on screenshots. but the game is built like anything from ten years ago. the only difference is that it's possible to use textures with higher resolution and models with more polygons now. it looks a lot better than previous games but nothing has really changed in the last couple of years. compare the grass in HZD (patches of grass in flat textures, always facing towards the camera, just generic movement) and the grass in BotW (single strands that interact with wind and objects in the world, even if you walk around it's one meadow instead a buch of textures slapped on the floor) the character in HZD just moves around on the map and can only interact with certain parts where it's specifically programmed. in BotW the character is part of the world and can affect his surroundings directly and in some cases is affected by the world. it wouldn't be too difficult to get HZD running on weaker hardware. all you have to do is use smaller textures, remove some effects and you're good. if you take BotW, it runs on the WiiU (wich isn't powerful at all and that's what the game was made for). if a game doesn't run very well on a PC you turn off some effects (that should work here), lower your resolution (wich is already pretty low at 720p on the WiiU), lower texture size (also pretty low already) or, and that works best, turn of the physics. that's why BotW is so muchg better. anywhere else the visuals are pushed as much as possibles and physics are very basic. Nintendo took the opposite approach with BotW and that's amazing.
Philipp Winter If you think about it, the switch version of Zelda is a port, and owning the game my self the Wii u version has all these little amazing details. but that not my point, the point is that these two games were designed differently and neither of them are bad, these two games were some of the best games we got since the witcher3 came out
I'm not saying that you can't enjoy Horizon Zero Dawo or that it's a bad game. it's just that over time the newest, super awesome, realistic looking games get less and less impressive. a good example would be back when Call of Duty 2 came out it looked so amazing and realistic, it was amazing. and the more often you get these graphical updates you start to realize that games will always look better and better but at the base everything stays the same. a real game changer was Chrysis 1. on some screenshots you really couldn't tell if it was in game or a real picture. AND additional to that it hat the physics and allowed you to run through the rain forest and destroy trees and buildings. you could pick up whatever fits in your hand and throw it at enemies. that kind of gameplay wasn't continued because developers chose (or had to chose) graphical fidelity over physics because both wasn't possible on consoles. and now, 10 years later Nintendo delivers a very similar gameplay that is so vastly different from every other current game while still looking beautiful and that on supposedly weak hardware. and yes, the game has its flaws and doesn't run smooth all the time (wich should never happen on a console). in my opinion it is certainly a bit overrated but it shows that games can profit in other ways than just pushing visuals to the max.
But Horizon has all the blinky flashy stuff and the clashy slashy sounds so its better. 10/10 Best Lensflaresimulator out there JK both games are fun, the focus on horizon lies more on the story but it suffers a bit from the Ubisoft formula aka FarCry 3 syndrome
Breath of the Wild are Wii U Graphics (2011). Coming from a console that is way behind and has less power, I'd say Breath of the Wild is better. Such a beautiful game and I'm impressed.
Aaron Garza so because it's worse it's better? Both are great games. One is about physics and environmental interactivity, the other is about story, exposition and strategic combat. Neither is bette or worse, they are different. Playing them both is a great thing.
IMRavnos Breath of the Wild beat out Horizon Zero Dawn. Nintendo had 97% and PlayStation had 89% For a console that's weak yet still able to make a successful game & beating out a stronger console.. that's my statement because it's embarrassing. Shows graphics don't mean anything when it comes to gaming. Nintendo always knew that
Aaron Garza - graphics mean something. BotW has good graphics. If it looked like Life of a Black Tiger or Shelter, people would be shitting all over it.Kaito Nakao - Haven't played HZD I see. There is more story and exposition in HZD's first 5 hours then in 200 hours of BotW. It's one of the biggest drawbacks in BotW for me. I enjoy story and BotW story appears like it's going to get epic and then it ends and your like : Really? That's it?BotW is one of the worst Zelda stories in the franchise and is probably the shortest as well. Which is a shame because the 13 memories + the tiny bits of story you get from each Divine Beast storyline is interesting. Then that ending. *ball dropped*Having said all of this, I own both and like both a lot. I am undecided on which is a better overall game. I can tell you this however. Both games had some reviews that were just garbage. the HZD 50 and the BotW 60 are both asinine.Even considering that BotW runs like ass, looks half as good as it could ( please look at Ni No Kuni for how great this game could have looked ), Has a weapon durability system that drags the flow of the game down to a crawl until mid game and even post game is just aggrevating and in fun, oh and that fucking Rain. I swear Hyrule must be in Seattle Washington.I still like it and it is easily an 8/10 probably more.
Let this be a lesson, Guerilla Games, your first attempt to make an open world was great, but you gotta live up to the details now, especially if you're going to make Horizon 2! Ask Sucker Punch and Naughty Dog how shit is done. And Nintendo, you put so much effort into your games, you don't deserve the hate you get. For a person who puts people's effort before grossing and ratings, I have a lot of respect for you :)
Lumify | Gil what does naughty dog has to teach them regarding open world and high interaction detail? They do interactive movies. Nothing more nothing less.
nvidia GTX1080 have you even looked at the Switch library lmao Super Mario Odyssey was almost game of the year as well, Splatoon 2 has exploded in popularity, Xenoblade 2 is fucking fantastic, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is one of the best party experiences to date, and you can also play Skyrim, Bayonetta 1/2, Sonic Mania, DOOM, Stardew Valley, Shovel Knight, FIFA, and not to mention Dark Souls, Crash Bandicoot 1-3, Undertale, Okami, every Megaman game, and Smash Bros and Pokémon coming- I highly doubt you would say none of these games are worth playing. Do your research before unnecessarily insulting someone.
RICKDOGG SLC the video is not good. It is very bias, im totally okay if this video is fair by showing what hzd is capable of. It's like you are framing someone as a bad guy while there are actually two sides of story
I honestly jumped into this video thinking it would be a comparison graphics and was ready to comment on why we shouldn't be comparing the two. They follow completely different art styles and play on machines of different power. But it turns out to be something dumber somehow. This video is basically "look what Zelda does that Horizon doesn't". And, of course, the Nintendo fanboys are licking it all up without a second thought. Barely anything was shown here in both games, honestly, but your bias towards Horizon is made too obvious in this video. When showing the physic, why didn't you show how machine limbs and extremities in Horizon flinch back depending on direction and strength of the arrow (try shooting a thunderjaw in its head at an angle). Or how parts break off and actually become physical parts of the terrain that Aloy will vault over or have to maneuver around if too big. Or easier, just show that everything (including Aloy as she moves around) has some weight behind it, especially when you topple it. All you did was show that you can recover your arrows in Zelda.... Wow, I guess we might as well say Zelda is ten times better than the Witcher 3 with that in mind, huh? And of course you didn't show how the tall grass will part as Aloy moves through it. She'll even raise her hands to brush it aside if you're crouched or just gently brush her hands over them "Gladiator" movie style when standing. And, to be fair, you're not cutting down a tree with two swings of a crude stick made into a stabbing weapon. In conclusion, I'm just saying that I can easily turn around and make a similar video, but bias towards Zelda. Wonder how these Nintendo drones would react to that nonsense.
Vincent Sims i agree. The video is too bias on zelda. I mean we know botw is a better game, we are not denying that. But the way the video proves it is very condescending
Unfair comparison when u think about it. PS4 has a high end machine capable of running theses high graphics, whereas Nintendo is using a handheld device to output its game. However the Physics and Gameplay are a lot better on Zelda
Jonathan Marmolejos if tbey wanted to? obviously tbey are behind in capability...lmao if they wanted to ! whats, stopping them? they purposely choose to fall short of thier competition?? they can't or they would have done it by now...this is the 3rd straight console they come in 3rd place with power& grphics..."Nintendo now you're not playing with power" Nintendo's a kiddy machine with last gen graphics get over it...
kyle williams and who's falt is that?? Nintendo puts out a hand held device thats supposed to compete with Sony and Microsoft consoles?? Im a nintendo guy bro...i grew up on nintendo and supported nintendo up to the game cube...you know the machinebthat actually had better graphics then the ps2 at the time...and brought us games like metroid prime and RE4 and Eternal Darkness and Paper Mario...Nintendo has blown it this past decade by nit matching thier counter parts in a capable machine to compete with and im annoyed by it...
It's subjective some people get hard for graphics others like how much detail is put into the physics engine. Both games are amazing in their own right but i went with zelda. It offered me more things to play around with and a better open world experience "in my opinion".
Mike Ruvalcaba If a fanboy says that one game is better because they're a bias fanboy, you responding with the exact same close mindedness is no more mature.
for many things it is also a matter of mechanics. In Zelda you can recover the arrows,in Horizon no. In Zelda you can recover resources by destroying objects. In Horizon there is no such mechanic.
Wild Shadow well that's the point of Zelda, in Horizon you use the robots as resources cause you are not going to shoot wooden arrows at those beasts lol
User score of bow is currently 7.6. When I click those negative reviews, sadly, I realize that's not a score of bow, that's how much gamers' community is damaged.
No one is paying attention to the fact that these games aren’t supposed to be alike. If you compare an athlete vs an engineer, the athlete is gonna be better in sports, but they weren’t meant to be compared in the first place. They’re each a separate thing, like Horizon and Zelda. And may I point out that Zelda isn’t on PS4? And Horizon isn’t on Nintendo devices? That just further separates them.
the environment in horizon zero dawn is destructible. the rocks, trees, even houses can be destroyed. but it requires more impact than just a spear strike. when big machines attack you or throws rocks at you, that destroys the environment. and wishing that a high detailed forest, with so many different objects like in HZD would burn and start a fire everytime you shoot a fire arrow in the grass.... it is something very very difficult to make. maybe in the next generation
Actually thats a bomb arrow kind of thing so no flame should burn but an explosion should happen if shot on water. In hzd the flame is burning even though the fuel used is not liquid.
+Arthur C. It is as you say. Graphics alone can't make a game good and you also don't need the most realistic graphics to make a game look pretty. BotW is a living proof of that very fact. I have played games for more than 20 years. I have owned PS1,2,3 & Xbox Original, 360, One & N64, DS, 3DS, Gameboy Advanced, GameCube, Wii, Switch & lastly PC of course. I have never seen and played a single game I went "Omg this game is so god damn amazing and is easily a 10/10 game", I have never personally rated a single game 10/10 in my entire life of gaming. BotW came and blew me away and then came NieR: Automata. Omg. Both became the best games I have ever played in my entire life. Last year was truly another wonderful Golden Age in gaming. This year 2018 may turn out to continue the golden age.
I wouldn't say well deserved based on attention to detail only. Botw is a really good game but it lacked things that horizon did well. But still, botws attention to detail and its gameplay may have had people vote for it.
Stick a molotov cocktail to an arrow, shoot it into the water, and then tell me what happens. Elemental ammo in H:ZD use various accelerants. What's BotW's excuse? They're magic arrows but aren't magic enough? Why does the whole arrow disappear if it hits the water? Wouldn't it just put out the fire?
aquamaniac27 The developers probably weren't thinking of that when they made fire burn on water. It's most likely just the lack of a physics engine and an oversight on interactions with different objects. In Horizon, arrows treat every object the same when it hits, fire or not.
Yami Do you know what an accelerant even is? The arrows literally require accelerant components to craft. There are trials where the only goal is to collect accelerants. This wasn't some tacked on "eh we're too lazy to fix" thing.
You can polish graphics all day long, but no game can even compare with Zelda in fun factor, physics and animations that look physically accurate (horses for example) botw just has a weight about it that feels good.
It's not about which game is better. Horizon seems a nice game (Didn't play), Zelda was great. but it's more that Zelda should be a standard for all to follow here. We don't need 4k graphics, We need more attention to detail in the gameplay itself, the physic and the world you evolve in
I don't want BoTW's shoddy environmental physics to be the "standard" of today's games, if those were in HZD, then 70ft mechs would be destroying the environment in an unrealistic manner. ut would be terrible.
Jacend They released the Hd Zelda games on Wii U before they knew the style The went with. The rest looked terrible and wind water still looked good in Hd.
I think the difference here is that HZD's team wanted to make the world *look* real, whereas Zelda's team wanted to make the world *feel* real. Two very different approachs!
You're right. I preffer Zelda because of that.
JustGleek47 that was deep bro, I felt it.
Exactly
But sadly that is what happens when you Put Graphics over Gameplay.
Basically comparing a world created to be just visual versus a world that's playable
I could go on but the proof is in the game and Zelda is better in every way.
air4seduction Zelda has anime style not cartoon style, besides that I completely agree with you.
Ce it's not anime tf?
Bob bobinson Yeah, just look at Zelda or Link faces, it looks more like anime than a cartoon.
Also is made an animated by japanese people, so is anime.
Ce I would hardly call it anime, because most characters don't look anime like. And just because it's made by a Japanese company doesn't automatically make it "anime". If you really want a Nintendo game with an anime art style, look at fire emblem awakening and fire emblem fates

I haven’t played horizon, I’m pretty surprised to see that zeldas world is actually more interactive. I think it goes to show that “realism” isn’t always “photorealism.”

Zelda is an example of near-perfect game design.
Open world, interactable surroundings, comprehensive physics...
but it had the worst story, dungeons and music of any zelda game, it needs more than just a good world to be a perfect game.

Mr. Andy Flick Clearly horizon didn't focus on having realistic physics
gamerprince1999 but realistic graphics yeaaaaa
Besides BOtW's main focus was never to be super realistic, but rather mix a bit of realism and a bit of the fantasy world that Zelda is
I think BotW looks prettier but is a weaker game imo with awfully simplistic combat, terrible weapon system, shamefully mediocre story and an empty boring open world.

Horizon Zero Dawn is a very good game, but man, Zelda Botw is such a amazing game, it deserved to win the GOTY
@Foaad Hisham Nice joke.
its clear that the world in horizon is more beautiful and well detailed, but it lacks interactiveness, the world doesn't feel as alive as in zelda. And for me, the most important thing is how immersed you feel. Zelda has some amazing physics, applied in a very smart way and that lack in the horizon gameplay.
Juliana Berto I think BOTW looks better, but it has some more open spaces yeah
Juliana Berto i think the world in horizon looks like shit honestly. i hate that "realistic" bullshit that will look like absolute trash in 10 years.
Odd i felt Zelda's world felt dead to me. It's got these huge open areas with no monsters and nothing to do. You feel completely alone.
morpheus305 you should probably look up why Zelda breath of the wild had so much empty space, there's literally a detailed video explaining it in a very clear and informative way of why it's the way it is.

PureShores HUR HUR MUH PHOTOREALISTIC GRAFIX IS ALL THAT MATTERS
El Bottoo In terms of Dragonquest, while the Vita did come close to the Switch in FPS performance, you have to remember that the port for the Switch was most definitely rushed, resulting in poor performance on the Switch side. And I have to admit, I'm not very fond of Sony, but they did a wonderful job on this game. (Horizon, that is.) I hope you can understand my points of the argument. And on terms of graphics between the next-gen consoles, we will have to wait for a Cross Platform game that is being made on Xbox, PS4, and Switch all at the same time.
Pigs explode in this game though
@@stabblecld
RDR2 a failure?

Nintendo and sony are awesome

James Balmer Becouse you can't cut a tree with a spear ?

Damn, Horizon's world is so static. The lack of interaction immediately strips away all the pretty window dressing for me.

Horizon Zero Dawn clearly has better graphics, minus when the character attacks, because then the character blurs (WTF?!), but the vegetation barely moves at all and is nowhere near as smooth and refreshing as in The Legend of Zelda: Breath in the Wild.

I already understood why horizon users only show off the camera mode
Lots of zelda haters here...
I understand not liking the art style but to point out HZD has better graphics is like saying water is wet, it's a no shit situation considering the PS4's power, I simply stated my opinion as an example of how tastes are subjective since people might think I'm crazy for liking Zelda more than HZD
Also I do understand why I just don't agree at all, comparing BotW to a Ps2 game as many are doing here is simply hateful trolling.
Those tress can be taken down, just Aloy can't do it. Only the robots.
okay, I seriously thought "what is this shit? you can't even compare these two games at all. the switch is obviously not as powerful as a PS4"
and then Breath of the Wild just wiped the floor with Horizon Zero Dawn
Philipp Winter That was pretty much my reaction when I watched this video lol!
zZiL341yRj736 yes, absolutely and no.
in this video both games are compared in their map design and teh used technologies. while HZD looks amazing at the first glance there is nothing special about this game. it only looks good on screenshots. but the game is built like anything from ten years ago. the only difference is that it's possible to use textures with higher resolution and models with more polygons now. it looks a lot better than previous games but nothing has really changed in the last couple of years.
compare the grass in HZD (patches of grass in flat textures, always facing towards the camera, just generic movement) and the grass in BotW (single strands that interact with wind and objects in the world, even if you walk around it's one meadow instead a buch of textures slapped on the floor)
the character in HZD just moves around on the map and can only interact with certain parts where it's specifically programmed. in BotW the character is part of the world and can affect his surroundings directly and in some cases is affected by the world.
it wouldn't be too difficult to get HZD running on weaker hardware. all you have to do is use smaller textures, remove some effects and you're good. if you take BotW, it runs on the WiiU (wich isn't powerful at all and that's what the game was made for). if a game doesn't run very well on a PC you turn off some effects (that should work here), lower your resolution (wich is already pretty low at 720p on the WiiU), lower texture size (also pretty low already) or, and that works best, turn of the physics.
that's why BotW is so muchg better. anywhere else the visuals are pushed as much as possibles and physics are very basic.
10/10 Best Lensflaresimulator out there
JK both games are fun, the focus on horizon lies more on the story but it suffers a bit from the Ubisoft formula aka FarCry 3 syndrome
Farcry 3 is masterpiece
a sony movie
vs
a Nintendo videogame
Nintendo fanboy
Zelda, Persona, Pokemon and a lot of Japanese games are not made in realistic graphics They are made in artistic graphics like Okami.
Aaron Garza Actually the Switch has more power even in handheld mode than the Wii U for your information.
iMangolix I'm stating that Wii U, learn how to read before you comment
Let this be a lesson, Guerilla Games, your first attempt to make an open world was great, but you gotta live up to the details now, especially if you're going to make Horizon 2! Ask Sucker Punch and Naughty Dog how shit is done.
And Nintendo, you put so much effort into your games, you don't deserve the hate you get. For a person who puts people's effort before grossing and ratings, I have a lot of respect for you :)
Lumify | Gil what does naughty dog has to teach them regarding open world and high interaction detail? They do interactive movies. Nothing more nothing less.

nvidia GTX1080 kk Have fun with Horizon Zero awards game, movies with QTEs, and Dad of war.
nvidia GTX1080 have you even looked at the Switch library lmao Super Mario Odyssey was almost game of the year as well, Splatoon 2 has exploded in popularity, Xenoblade 2 is fucking fantastic, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is one of the best party experiences to date, and you can also play Skyrim, Bayonetta 1/2, Sonic Mania, DOOM, Stardew Valley, Shovel Knight, FIFA, and not to mention Dark Souls, Crash Bandicoot 1-3, Undertale, Okami, every Megaman game, and Smash Bros and Pokémon coming- I highly doubt you would say none of these games are worth playing. Do your research before unnecessarily insulting someone.
Uiostar Exactly if Bethesda, NIS America and Platinum port over Nier A, The Evil within 1 & 2, Fallout 3 and Dangonropa I won’t even look at a PS4.
Don't hate on Aloy just cause she can shoot an arrow all the way to space. Just kidding. Good video
*AS THE ARROW IS REACHING THE STRATOSPHERE*
Arrow: Fuk physics I'm going to spaaaaaaaa--
ItWentSkyward. 😂😂😂
ItWentSkyward. - Your name + your comment = 1 like from yours truly.
RICKDOGG SLC the video is not good. It is very bias, im totally okay if this video is fair by showing what hzd is capable of. It's like you are framing someone as a bad guy while there are actually two sides of story
@@sandyriver4705.......... You didn't play Horizon
Vincent Sims ok but zelda won GOTY. And sold more.
Which of my points are you trying to correct me on?
Vincent Sims i agree. The video is too bias on zelda. I mean we know botw is a better game, we are not denying that. But the way the video proves it is very condescending
Well make a video that shows how crappy botw is compared to hzd. If thats possible
Sorry, dude, I'm too busy with Monster Hunter World to worry about this anymore. Go tell someone else you think BoTW is the greatest game of all time.
Unfair comparison when u think about it. PS4 has a high end machine capable of running theses high graphics, whereas Nintendo is using a handheld device to output its game. However the Physics and Gameplay are a lot better on Zelda
It's a fair comparison that let us know who are better developers. just imagine what nintendo can achieve if they wanted to use a high end machine.
Jonathan Marmolejos This guy gets it. 👍
+Akoma EML2016 So you want a handheld console that is about 1/8 the size of a PS4 to have high end graphics?
kyle williams and who's falt is that?? Nintendo puts out a hand held device thats supposed to compete with Sony and Microsoft consoles?? Im a nintendo guy bro...i grew up on nintendo and supported nintendo up to the game cube...you know the machinebthat actually had better graphics then the ps2 at the time...and brought us games like metroid prime and RE4 and Eternal Darkness and Paper Mario...Nintendo has blown it this past decade by nit matching thier counter parts in a capable machine to compete with and im annoyed by it...
They are two different games, stop comparing who's better.
Ikr? Obviously zelda is better
It's subjective some people get hard for graphics others like how much detail is put into the physics engine. Both games are amazing in their own right but i went with zelda. It offered me more things to play around with and a better open world experience "in my opinion".
Mike Ruvalcaba You're no more mature than him.
Mike Ruvalcaba If a fanboy says that one game is better because they're a bias fanboy, you responding with the exact same close mindedness is no more mature.
Jsks Ajak, they're both open-world games.
for many things it is also a matter of mechanics.
Zelda is an amazing game.i have both. But Zelda won this
User score of bow is currently 7.6.
When I click those negative reviews, sadly, I realize that's not a score of bow, that's how much gamers' community is damaged.
Haters. BOTW is an absolute magnifiscent game, the actual OoT.
Ikr, the ones who made negative comments are Playstation Fanboys, they wanted HZD to win so bad.
Fisica+graficos+interactividad+autonomia+logica
jajajajaja POTENCIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Marcos Espinoza true
lol no
Si ven a Sasel entenderan el *chiste*
Marcos Espinoza como la PS4 Pro 😂😂
CHMP1000 exactly what i was thinking, even rocks can be destroyed by machines
and they also have fire on water, because fuck physics
Leanderson Silva ohhh so the lakes on HZD are full of oil? how the fuck she even swim on that? thats pretty dope!!!!
They did it on Zelda, even difference between moist grass burning less and dry grass burning a lot
to make explosive arrows in Horizon you have to gather fuel from machines so thats why it burns on water
pd. 4:19 WTF?
Nudul. Es el futuro :v
Nudul. Gorillaz : )
Era aceite ps, no era agua xd
Nudul. Lo mismo dije yo WTF xD
Nudul. No mames el agua la quitaron
Era gasolina :v por eso esta amarilla
water is burning in zero dawn.. WTF?? xD
Schmidteren Have youve ever seen oil burn on top of ocean water?.... I guess not.
that's not oil though that's just fire
It's fuel, not just fire.
Actually thats a bomb arrow kind of thing so no flame should burn but an explosion should happen if shot on water. In hzd the flame is burning even though the fuel used is not liquid.
Well, now you know where fracking leads...
@@balamchable8412 jajajajajajajaja
wow AMAZING ! so i'll buy zelda 100% !
Buy both but zelda first ;)
wel if u have the ps4 and switch/wii u buy both,
Only if you have money
Mario Espinoza if he plays Zelda first, he'll be trying to do so many things in Horizon that he just won't be able to do lmao.
no horizon is a pass and not because zelda. ive played horizon before dozens of times just with a different title
Burning grass convinced you to buy a game? wow
I love the BOTW...
Hahaha, i want to see what Sony fanboys have to say now about this "Pointless Comparison".
A GOTY well-deserved for BOTW.
ReachStudioPro Jesus Christ.. A old gamer I say.
I wouldn't say well deserved based on attention to detail only. Botw is a really good game but it lacked things that horizon did well. But still, botws attention to detail and its gameplay may have had people vote for it.
Arthur C. Zelda can do anything and the fans will be happy with it. Lol
This video still is great XD
damn! fire/water physics looks like complete shit on Horizon Zero Dawn, did ubisoft make this part of the game?
I always felt like Horizon seemed like an Ubisoft game but I could never pinpoint exactly why. Now I know why.
N0b0dy So Zelda is even more impressive, considering that this also is Nintendos first modern Openworld Game.
The fire arrow still burning in the water in HZD….uh how can the devs miss that?
Horizon looks good now.
zelda will look good for years to come.
You can polish graphics all day long, but no game can even compare with Zelda in fun factor, physics and animations that look physically accurate (horses for example) botw just has a weight about it that feels good.
Ok zelda fanboy. You're overrating this game. Horizon is better
Horizon has better visuals, Zelda has better everything else.
in 10 years zelda will still look the same, but horizon will age poorly due to better realistic graphics possible on ps5/ps6
This game won't age as well as Wind Waker visually, lol.
Jacend They released the Hd Zelda games on Wii U before they knew the style The went with. The rest looked terrible and wind water still looked good in Hd.
Wind waker is stylized like a cartoon, thus it'll be less graphically demanding.
Tbh I would prefer zelda visuals, you would never get such a beautiful sunset in a realistic looking game
¿Me pegarian?
