I'm disabled yesterday was my 22nd birthday I'm very stressed and sad college enrollment, and accommodations are taking forever I'm in a weird spot where I'm afraid of never having a romantic partner but afraid to be myself and I'm afraid my family getting too old to take care of me but this song brings me inner peace and if toe ever comes to utah i want to hear this song live and meet the band and have them sign my vinyl copy of for long tomorrow.

i don't know music theory or anything behind the complex technicality that makes this song so great. so from my layperson's perspective, all i can say is this song feels so clear. i want to just close my eyes and float into the sound...everything layers on top of each other like a wedding cake...it's not simple but it gives a delicate taste...just like every instrument perfectly enters in its moment, nothing sounds wrong, yet its extraordinary, unique like i've never heard it before. so complex and it works no matter what you focus on, even if there's a melody, there's something in the background that introduces something new to the section, creating movement, tension (especially with the synth buildup, and the drum solo), and beautiful shifting colors between phrases. my favorite song ever.

"complex technicality" I think that's mostly the drummer. That's not to say everything else is boring, but the other parts and the way they're layered on each other seem more normal compared to the drums.
@@Mr.Nichan to be fair the guitar is not "normal". the mathy choppiness of the guitar definitely will catch your ear if you arent used to it

Yupp,not correct. But I always loved to imagine she sings "You don't have time to sleepwalk, to know what there is". I know now she isn't singing that, but it always seemed to so perfectly encapsulate how you shouldn't think you have time, because you only have Now, so live Now, but also, you don't have to know everything, The Universe is infinite, but we're here - so just appreciate and enjoy what you have! 💝

I listen to a large catalog of eclectic, alternative and progressive music, and I gotta say, this song is elevated to a whole different level of greatness.
the audio quality/mixing in this version is way better than the mv. You can hear those beautiful guitar notes crystal clear.

I've found this band and this song during the year 2019! I always become dumbfounded with excitement whenever I listen to this song and it also gives me a soothing and relaxing vibe. I have listened to this song in many occasions throughout the weeks when studying and / or when trying to fall asleep. Im thankful I've found this band and this remarkable song, and for introducing me to the genre post-rock and math rock. I've always been the normal rock dude thats knows the common alternative-punk-metal, but this genre is different and is beautifully set in its own category beyond others.
