@@SmartphoneStorytellers I like that tiktok recently released and update for “full screen” that allows 16x9 videos to look the way they should if you rotate your phone
Im not a fan that vertical is basically the primary format for most content (I get it). I would love to shoot anamorphic more often...just doesn't make sense in most cases

I appreciate vertical video for certain types of content, but I'd agree that horizontal video is much more artistic and ultimately visually pleasing (when shot well, of course.) I've debated investing in some anamorphic lenses, but honestly I'm with you - I seldom have projects that call for them.
I greatly prefer landscape but I’m forced by instagram to use portrait for my stories. Ughh!
Landscape can be more artistic, but portrait definitely fits the way we hold our phones. All depends on the screen it’ll play on!
