Those old toasters are still running stronger and in my country in U.S.A. are retired. 4 railroads, Amtrak has 54 AEM-7's from 1979 to 1986, Septa has 7 AEM-7's & One ALP-44, MARC only has 4 & New Jersey Transit has 34 ALP-44's. They were all Set design & American Built by General Motors Electro Motive Division (EMD) Your county still run theirs more better. I just love the looks of it but sadly my country had lasted over 30 years.
