@@tubfrogThat's fine bro, at least your trim don't look horrific In a way its like the 2020 season, on paper everything is there... just there's something missing for some reason
It was such a strange season. The Super Bowl was kinda creepy even with fans in the stands. Don’t want another season like that one. Great video, thanks tubs.
Ya it was sad to see him struggle like that vs Tampa and he basically was out of the NFL cause of that game. His brother was my WR coach in high school and Kevin came to some of our practices so it was rough seeing him take a majority of the blame for the loss even if it was pretty justified
I had a 14 month "vacation" during covid and attempted to watch any and all NFL games televised that year (Redzone on weekends and then whichever standalone games were on, which got crazy when they appeared on Tuesday afternoons). I made it to about the 2nd round of the playoffs and my interest fell through the floor. I think it was the Tom Brady effect of "oh no, not that guy in the superbowl again". On Superbowl Sunday, I hopped in the car and drove out to the Oregon coast, saw a brewpub with outdoor seating and sat in the sunshine having a beer someone else poured. It was amazing. A far better experience than watching that dog of a game. Kendall Hinton is still one of my favorite players of that season. He did his best in an impossible situation and also proved that being an NFL quarterback is exceeding difficult. And Alex Smith returning to wear an Aaron Donald vest was another one of the craziest moments ever. Alex is also one of those players who I still have the utmost respect for. It actually took till last year before I started watching games more regularly. But I still rely on recaps from Tubfrog, Thatsgoodsports, Urinating Tree and Barry McCockiner for keeping up on the NFL
I did something similar. Except I'm a Buccaneers fan so it was amazing. I wish i could have gone to that SuperBowl but it was an amazing satisfying game. Bucs fans knew our defense was amazing but seeing it absolutely stonewall the greatest teams in the league was just awesome. No Grossi?
I still remember this season, and this was my favorite season of all time. Just to see us start 11-0, and if course blow it, gave me hope that the Steelers could win the Super Bowl one day
Let's not forget that the Chiefs o-line in the super bowl was so banged up that they for some reason decided to switch out the other uninjured guard and tackle from the right side, to the left side of the line.
Love the video TubFrog my favorite RUclipsr as a 49ers fan I was 10 yrs old during this all I could remember is when the 49ers lost to the Seahawks in Week 8 it was bad because we were 4-3 and I still thought we had a chance
9:44 god I remember this so much, dude stood there confused as hell after the first punch Also damn Alex Smith it was beautiful watching you play after that leg injury and just beat an undefeated team
@@bigchungus1848I mean we went 14-1 and rested our starters. Aside from the Super Bowl and a random 40-32 loss to the Raiders in week five, that season was perfect. Ending was very gut wrenching though but they’ve more than moved on from that day😂
Fun fact: Four Bucs players who helped them beat the Chiefs in Super Bowl LV have since won another ring with the Chiefs - Blaine Gabbert, Ronald Jones, Donovan Smith, and Mike Edwards
So much happened in 2020 that could be in like a part 2. Ravens vs Steelers Wednesday football. Drew Bree’s and Philip rivers retirement. trade for D-hop. Ravens vs titans, titans danced on ravens field and ravens then danced on titans field. Jets shockingly beating the rams and missing out on Trevor Lawrence. Raiders finally moved to Vegas. The Browns nearly upsetting the chiefs. Ryan Fitzpatrick with the insane no look throw against the raiders. Also there was like 8 10 win teams in the AFC that year.
I remember the Giants were so mad about that Washington/Philly game. Player, Coaches, and Fans were *pissed* about that. Didn't the Giants try to file a grievance too? I remember Doug Pederson fanning the flames by saying something along the line of "Why should I care about what the Giants want? They should've won in September." NFC East rivalries are wild, man.
You have to remember about the 2020 Jags squad is they played the Colts that year in Duval...and if you know their history to this point...yeah And the Jags weren't satisfied with 1-0...and the rest is history...
We will never see such an insane Super Bowl run than what we saw from TB12 and the Bucs. Completely new team, no practices, no OTAs. Just Tom raw dogging it Tom Brady takes the Bucs to the post season and beats 3, FUCKING 3, Hall of Fame QBs to win a Super Bowl You can plan a better story and nothing will ever top that run
Tubfrog without a beanie is a child without their father
He looks like Brock Osweiler without his Peyton manning
Sorry ya’ll won’t happen again 😢
