    Just in case you didn't see it, the keel scrapes down the back crossmember of your trailer. Some pipe insulation around that crossmember would help. Great video!

      Yo! Solid boat. My only thing over the year that I had it before I got rid of it was the black hatch that you sit on. It isn't the strongest. It could be reenforced for sure.

    The seat looks low on it like it would be uncomfortable, what was you impression? Were you able to stand up and cast, stability overall? How difficult was it to load back on the trailer? Thanks, good video.

    • @FishingWithHeath
      @FishingWithHeath  2 года назад

      Easy to load back up. VERY stable! I wanted to add a standing rail to it so I could stand and steer. I would add a little butt bad to be comfortable for longer.

    So looks like a fun little boat. Looking at the transom where the motor mounts. If you hit something solid would the transom and motor still be there or be laying on the bottom of the lake? Could be a dangerous situation with the spinning prop running directly behind your back on it’s way down.

    Noticed you said you got rid of the skiff and i am looking at an honest review regarding the kayak. Despite having issues with the motor, what other issues did you have with it?

    • @FishingWithHeath
      @FishingWithHeath  5 месяцев назад

      I really didn't have any issues other than bending the back black rail and replacing it. If you check some of my recent videos, I purchased a 30+ foot bus to renovate and had no room for this boat plus the trailer I keep it on. I had to slim down on a few toys to work on new projects. I actually really liked this thing.

      @@FishingWithHeath yeah I noticed the bent frame on the video. I've been eyeing one of these to add to my arsenal and just wanted to see a true ownership video of the pros and cons. Only thing I noticed is how high the bow gets when going at a high speed. Is there a fix to that? Thanks for the quick reply. Great videos.

      @@FishingWithHeath Great video my friend and nice to see you on the same fishing grounds like me (Gandy). Looking into upgrading my Perception Outlaw 11.5 powered by a Yamaha 2.5hp to possibly this Hoodoo or the Solo Skiff. Do you think the 2.5hp be too small for the Hoodoo? If so, I may have to sell everything and start from scratch. I can hit 8mph on my Outlaw with the 2.5 motor and I know the Outlaw is a barge. But at the same time is 20lb lighter. Thanks in advance for your input and time.

    I kind want to use external as the main tank and keep the internal as "emergency" but how do you choose?
