I went into this game just to give it shot. The art and character designs drew me in. I absolutely love this game lol I did not expect it be this good. I love the style, art, and characters, and the story is just fun. Nicole is my favorite character. Straight to the point and trying to get paid 😂 this game is really cool.
I feel ZZZ comments on how society adapts and tries its best it retain normalcy and not devolve into chaos despite terrible things happening at the moment. Its criticizes and praises this aspect of us.

Well, what if I tell you that the identity of the Hacker is.... SPOILERS Inspector Bringer..... Now, there are several hints that Bringer is the one behind everything. - We already see that PubSec has already mounted an assault against the Red Fang Gang almost as if they knew where to find them. Not only that, they didn't hesitate to fire upon the Cunning Hares who are held at gun point by the RFG. - Next, isn't it coincidental that there is a HIA and PubSec Officers nearby and around the area where the Cunning Hares. Almost as if someone knew where to lead them to. - Then there is the Hacker's hatred towards the Proxies for being criminals that are in the way of PubSec and yet, he is just as fearful of them as if he doesn't want PubSec to know his identity. - How was Vision Co able to provide their mercenaries with PubSec outfits? Someone clearly ship those outfits to those mercs and arm them. - How did those Hollow Raiders knew where Zhu Yuan and Qiying are and as revealed, they have key info about the two? Only someone with high level access to their files. - How did the trap made it into the blimp? Only someone could have snuck that in and gave it to Perlman. - Then, there's the mysterious person aiding Sarah and that same person was there when Khors Belogog died. He sounded like Bringer. The dots all add up.
That's not a bad theory. I feel like it's not within his character, but he is a big mystery. Hopefully we get to see more of him in future chapters to see.
@@Rednu maybe he is trying to end hollows once and for all think about it the monster is a “sacrifice” to stop any more deaths. So maybe during a hollow disaster he just witnessed way too much loss, it also could be the hollow corrupted his mind somehow when he took off his protective gear and gave it to a child Zhu Yuan so now he is being either controlled by a high level ethereal or is just messed in the head due to the incident. Thus plenty of ways to make him a tragic and understandable villain whether that be as a puppet, a prisoner in his own mind or a guy doing what is necessary for the good of all.
In regards to the dialogue and story, it's actually the biggest draw for me. I've never been a gacha game player and I don't like the idea of gacha games. But I saw the Bernice spam on RUclips so I gave ZZZ a shot. Then I fell in love with Nekomata's cuteness. And how Anby's coldness and Nicole's self-indulgence is such a nice contrast. Then I was introduced to Koleda and my god, the anime cutscene was so fucking 🤌 And on top of it all the satisfying parry gameplay and badass music. This game is just perfection.
I find it funny that the Hacker disregards Proxies and Agents as vile criminals while they have no problem doing vile things to do what they want and fled when police comes after them.
I love this games storytelling. All background is that, background details that every character is in tve know off. Thankfully there isnt a single character that has done exposition and that makes it even better since well, it transmits to us that all this background info is common knowledge in this world. I love so much that all exposition is themed, you cna find it on newsletters, [info] posts on Inter-Knock and information posters, it makes the world so real because that js were you would find that info IRL to.
I like this type of story telling, because all the characters already know what all these things are, so why would they bother explaining it to each other
The inter knot is a subscription based service and a commission service at the same time we know this from the 2 bear quest where they ask us to find their sister and they say before posting the commission one of the bear tell the other bear to use their account because he just subscribe for it
seriously, all you have to do is to tell the police what account belong to "Phaethon" and the police will be able to trace that account themselves based on where it was login from. that's basically the trap.
Phaethon is the account, and if the police had that much surveillance and control over the Inter-Knot, I would think they'd shut it down since it facilitates illegal illicit activities.
Ok, not sure if anyone has said yet. Forbidden fruit test is reference to Adam and Eve. After they ate the fruit they gained knowledge of human things. The test is to see if an ai has become more than just things made by a creator. Breaking out as an independent thinking being.
Other proxy mostly just instaled carrot on the raider bangboo. Beside that they either sending remote instructions to their bangboo if they were outside of the hollow and this methods are far inferior to paethon direct guidance due to time and space dilation or they accompany the raider themself into the hollow.
This sounds very plausible. Do you have a source for this? I vaguely remember some side chapters I skimmed that went more in depth on relationship between raiders and bangboos.
@@Rednu Some proxy acc in inter knot mention getting into hollow and the risk of accepting some dodgy commission as the reason they refusing to take one. Beside that, you also did side gig as HIA assigned proxy partner for military following their regular protocol for hollow zero. In hollow zero case both wise and Belle limiting interaction to member of Hands and examiner by pretending to be a regular navigation bangboo receiving instruction from the siblings remotely. It is funny part when the sibling suddenly speak in bangboo language as reflex. As for side quest you skimmed I think it is about rost and North (raider who attempt to stole pubsec bangboo by copy his sharkboo AI to it but ended merging the 2 and killing his own bangboo in process)
In a few parts of the story they mention that its normally impossible to get any signals or data into/out of hollows, and that the tech for that is something special that phaethon does. So i would assume other proxies would have to either go in by hand carrying data, or send in a bangboo pre-loaded with carrot map data that cant be modified from the outside until they leave again. Bangboo are shown to essentially be sentient, so they could be programmed to essentially just be maps with thinking capabilities to dynamically navigate even without perfectly accurate data. Other points also mentioned something like being misled by a bangboo with bad or corrupt carrot data or something, which further suggests that the job of a proxy is basically just to do the processing and pre-program a localized map, and then send it off and hope it works lol Idk tho its kinda unclear still meyb, and im not really the type to hyper analyze the story the first time through (which is why i love content like this lol), so its mostly just what i remember theorizing about while going through the story the first time. It definitely seems like they really meant it when near the beginning of the story they said phaethons live data transfer tech would be insanely valuable, as even the military is unable to replicate it and has to resort to constantly recompiling data and hoping it stays accurate during hollow dives. It seems like in universe it's borderline magical lol, which makes the main characters a pretty big deal. And then fairy comes around and essentially makes them the most powerful dive guides by many orders of magnitude, they would be outperforming even the other AIs as they won't be able to communicate with hollow dive teams in real time, and probably have too much system and power overhead/risk with corruption to be taken into hollows themselves. Sorry kinda ended up going off a bit hahaha, i do really love the world they have created here its super interesting to me!
@@Charmlie.R nah you and re probably got it. I never thought of them just sending a bangboo with the raiders with a preloaded carrot. it makes a lot of sense. I'm interested to see if there are any proxies that actually enter the hollows themselves and how they conduct their work, but for normal off-site proxy work which is stated in the inter-knot stuff, this makes the most sense.
@@Rednu I think it also raises an interesting idea that idk if there's a forced reason for proxies and raiders/agents to be separate things all the time, so there could be proxies who just go in and do both ends themselves which could be kinda neat. Idk if thats implied anywhere or not, i have a feeling theres a ton of info you could deconstruct from really looking into all the lil interknot posts and comment threads for the commissions you accept, but man that sounds like a whole lot of work so i havent bothered going back and reading a ton of them to try and see if what others in the comments are saying could give some info. Since theoretically a handful of those commenters at least would be proxies themselves.
