I'm Mexican living in Florida and the difference is that pico de Gallo Is cut up ingredients and the salsa is mashed in a molkajete. But Mexico is a land of so many ingredients and different recipes in every region. Every Mexican makes there own recipe but there's so many .

Salsa is blended and pico is chopped. You made Pico lol and it is pronounced “Pee-Co Day Guy-Yo” lol I’m not Mexican but I’m from Texas😂
You made pico de gallo, yes. Salsa is more liquidy or runny because of being blended. Pico is just chopped.

I think pico de gallo is more freshly chopped and you have to use a food processor for salsa, at least that's what I think.
