I've been teaching Emotional Intelligence for many years, and this is very much in alignment with what I believe about emotions. This is also only the second person I've heard, other than myself, that teaches the emotion of sexuality. Fabulous.
such a great video. i believe i gave myself a pituitary tumor by pushing huge emotions of........anger, grief(sadness), crippling anxiety (fear), sexuality.....well thanks catholic church..it didnt exist and in that makeup joy had no chance whatsoever. So, i drank from age eleven to thirty three. Didn't work! Been sober forty one years now, did fifteen years of therapy. the first one i liberated was fear and that was a terrifying process. after crying for three years grief was let out of the box. it was some years later that a very strange emotion started pushing its head out of the box :D. Welcome Joy! freeing sexual feelings took a lot longer but finally arrived. the other thing that happened is my companion of some twenty eight years, "The Black Dog", has not been seen for over eighteen years. fully feel all the feelings, understand them.......and live in a different universe :D thanks again
Emotion or Emotional Emotional=the expression or reaction to feelings. Feelings is something you can't put your finger on. Feelings are abstract by past and present.
This is good, but limited. It does not address the of deep, positive, and motivational feelings of esthetics and artistic awe, as well as religious awe and worship. This is related to respect and giving to another (kindness, love, appreciation). This could be put under sexual (creativite drive) or joy, but I think this is too limiting and 2 dimensional. One can be "in awe" or respectful of another's art or project without having a drive to to create something new one's self. These are huge emotions in our history and culture.
