Well done!!! We just came back from The Level at Melia Punta Cana (19-26 Dec 21), You nailed it! If people are going to this resort pay for "The Level" upgrade. It is a very different experience to have access to Quimera and roof top bar. The rooms are better and you have a great pool, easy beach access, food and drink within minutes of each other.
@@braedenvanhooydonk3300 If I recall it was around $600 per person. Significant, but I think it also varies depending on your individualtravel plans and who you book through
I just came from this place 2 days ago , I won't come back, the level of dissimformations is high , the restaurant are mostly closed and they open one only so people have to travel a lot to eat , once you get there the restaurants are closed , it will take you forever to find a place to eat . the waiting time fo the golf carts or he train to commute to places is brutal, you dont feel you are in resort , you feel you are in a city trying to survive .
how clean was the beach ?was there any seaweeds ? Are all the restaurants open during the pandemic? Were there entertainments every night ? Thank you for your help
Yes, beach was clean enough, some seaweeds but nothing too crazy, about the restaurants due to the pandemic they had a schedule for the restaurants, depending on the night some of them are open and some not; but if you’re staying for a few days you can try multiple… they had a beach and lobby party to celebrate NYE, not sure about the other nights, but every night entertainment is something most resorts do. Hope this was helpful!.
@@xploreando4729 Thanks for your quick reply! My fiancé and I are looking to get married there under the little white chapel at melia caribe beach resort. We’re you able to see it and if so was it pretty?
Thank you so much! I’d say from our room it was about 300 meters away (so yes, train was necessary). Distance really depended on the room you choose, they also have beachside rooms 🏝
Yes! I believe it’s called The level ocean suite, you can find it on the hotel’s website under rooms and suites (like you’re checking the hotel overview).
Due to the pandemic, the had a schedule for each restaurant. So depending on the night some of them were open and some not. Alternately. If you’re staying more than one night you have the chance to try different ones.
@@xploreando4729 thanks for your quick response. Also do you have to get a specific level to go to all the restaurants? Does it depend on your room type? If you can let me know that would be great! I don’t want to miss out on any good Resturant’s
You’re welcome! Quimera is the only restaurant exclusive for The Level guest, you can check it out on minute 3:32, this category also gives you access to a private pool and a Rooftop bar at the same restaurant. All of the others restaurants do not require any specific category to reserve and enjoy them! Hope this helps.
only one open and nobody knows which one is open , it will taje you forever to find the restaurant that is open for dinner , for lunch the one at the beach Rumba is almos always open but the variety is limited
This resort has horrible service. We got room 3 hours late then check in time. We were 10 people and they couldn’t give reservation for any restaurant. They said they can’t accommodate 10 people. Why do you take reservation for 10 people? Our room key would stop working everyday and they wouldn’t send anyone to fix the key. You have to go to lobby and the trolley wouldn’t come for 30 mins so we had to either walk or wait outside our room.

Thanks. Very good and informative video
We stayed at “Level” Melia Caribe. They didn’t allow us at Quimera rooftop bar

My pleasure! Unfortunately not, I do not recall :(
The sargassum can be very bad here. The water was very nasty all but one day. We were there for a week over Thanksgiving.
Thank you for the video! Are the restaurants and spa jacuzzis free or extra?
You’re welcome, restaurants are included, spa treatments pay extra.
you have to pay for everything , go to RIU , is cheaper and the jacuzzi and warm pools are free
Last time we stayed at Ziva and that was 10000 times better.
so beautiful, do you recommend traveling in February because of the weather?
Yes, it’s sunny almost the whole year.

Is this a spot for singles?
Would you recommend for bachelorette party
Yes, adults only hotels are great for that.

Not all inclusive except you pay more $1000 to upgrade to Level, scam 🤣
