HubSpot Source Properties 101: Breaking Down the Original, Latest and Record Source Fields

How does the Latest source field get populated in HubSpot for a Contact? Company? Deal? What about Original source? Record source? These source properties may seem confusing at first, but we're here to demystify them all!
