With city centres becoming more and more focused on bringing down emissions, now could be the perfect time, to buy this, the SEAT Mii Electric. With a starting price of £20,300 after the government’s contribution, it has standard features including 16” alloys, rear parking sensors, heated front seats, lane keep assist, air conditioning, cruise control, and LED daytime running lights to name a few.
It's powered by an electric motor that provides 83hp along with 212Nm of torque. What I should have included in the review is that it makes use of a 36.8kWh battery, and it takes 1 hour to charge to 80% using a 40kW charger, and 4 hours using a 7.2kW charger. 62mph is dealt with in 12.3 seconds, which may seem slow, but it's quick of the line and will hit 30 in under 4 seconds.
The top speed is only 81mph, but with this being a city car, does that even matter?! What will matter to you, is the range. It's 161 miles, which may not seem like much, but seeing as this will be a car for shorter journeys, that shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Smashing little car, if the range was another few miles, I'd go for it. I think these things have a little way to go, but they're getting there, particularly in the affordability stakes. I loved the smart minimalism of the petrol versions of this car (Up / Citigo), and they've carried that no-nonsense style over into the EV. Great review, as ever.

Aaron, Just wondering if you have test driven the Honda E or you will be driving one soon as it seems to be a similar size to the Mii but has a shorter range..
I tried AGES to get one from Honda but I've given up to be honest.
