For my use cases yes! M15 is for just isn't made for sensitive iems imho, rather it holds up well in the headphones space when compared to desktop dacs
@AudioAnalyticsAuthority I never used DACs before, will this work : I use Samsung galaxy s23 phone, and I have Audiotechnica m50x headphones (45mm). Will ibasso dc04 pro be efficient enough and connect those two?
Yep the m50x has lower power requirements than HD800s so it is fine from an efficiency standpoint. I used it with the s24 ultra and it works fine so s23 should work well!
I personally found Mojo2 eq functionalities to be its main strength. However I found DC 04 Pro to be better for my playlist (jazz, classical & pop) mainly due to better detail retrieval. The main issue I have with the Mojo2 is that it hisses with sensitive IEMs (tested on EE Odins, VE Phonix), and the lack of 4.4mm outputs. ifi IEMatch can solve the hissing problem (some forums would suggest that) but it changes the sound profile so not inclined to that setup, hope this helps!
Wow that's crazy! You're saying you prefer the iBasso DC04Pro over the Questyle M15. That's huge! Especially considering the price point.

Thanks for the detailed review 🙌 can’t wait to try it on the go with my Focal Celestee 🤞
Haven't tried Celestee myself but have heard that it's one of the more resolving closed backs! Excited for you!
I have the DC06 and love them with my Semi-open Fidelio L2 headphones
Have you tested Colorfly M1P? I was thinking of buying M1P or DC04PRO. Thanks
I have also dc 04 pro😊
