In this weeks live stream we're going to show you how we made a DTF shirt that 80% of people surveyed thought was DTG! And were going to show you how you can do it too!!
Nice video. With all rip softs I've used spot channel, it is easy to control the white(for me) with spot channel and black knockout. Just basic tests to see the white scale under color, test the feeling of the shirt and after that is easy life and happy clients.
PDF's can do transparent backgrounds but by default they do white and you have to know how to turn that off. PNG's are just more consistent with transparency and that gives the T-shirt shop more confidence the artwork is coming from their customer is ready to print.
Yes, low white ink amount will definitly crack or peel of the print. When the white layer is too low also the colors on a black or dark garment faded out and came dull, not really vibrant.

Awesome! Great to hear!
hi, thanks for giving us this informative tutorial. can you tell us what value we put in white ink we use in spot.
If you rip requires you to make the white layer as a spot color try setting it to 30% opacity and see how that works.
Watching from Philippines.. been a big fan of your channel. And learning about dtf :)
Can you use PDF instead of PNG? PDF are so versatile it can be a vector drawn with transparency. Why do Custom T-shirt Shops still ask for PNGs?

Nice and professional 👍
Thanks 👍
what is the effect of loss of power to the Heat Press machine when a DTF is being pressed on a T shirt?
minimal. It will still retain heat to finish the shirt but I wouldn't move on to pressing anymore until your power is restored.
Even though I didn’t watch it live ….i am just watching it now …all the way from Ethiopia 🇪🇹 (Africa) … definitely global 👌
Ethiopia!!! Awesome, I think your our first view to chime in from the great continent of Africa!
@@DTFSuperstore oh wow 🙏🙏… I hope I won’t be the last 😀
Is it true that DTF will work very well on T-shirts with a lot of thick cotton content but will not work well on thin cotton t-shirts?
Oh this is printed on a pretty thin garment...no thick cotton here
Where can i find video on how you do this side by side mockup setup for previewing as you go. What do I search to find this info? Thank u!
That's the way the file came from Adobe Stock. we didn't do anything to create the mock up.
That was amazing 🎉🎉🎉
Thanks!

Hello!! Thanks for watching!
would less white ink crack after a few washes? since the underbase is low?
It could if you go too low but I know from testing we did not go that low.

Thanks for the information
Thanks for watching it is our pleasure.
spectacular. thanks !
Thank you!
does reducing the white under base effect durability?
It can if you go too far.
How would you make a photo portrait feel softer? 🤔
The quickest way to a softer hand feel is to Halftone your portrait. We have a tutorial a halftone tutorial on our channel, hope this helps!
What was your max ink settings??
I don't recall but I didn't make any changes to that, just adjusted the white underbase and every printer/ink combo with be different.
How many sec... is 2nd press ?
5 is sufficient but you can go up to 20 seconds without issue.
Tank you.@@DTFSuperstore
Commenting for the algo. What is the white highlight setting ?
thanks
It uses a different amount of white where just white is printed. It helps boost just white and lets you use a little less under colors.
If we sub out our DTF, is there a way to let them know we want only 50% white? Or is that something that they can obtain from the file
You would have to instruct them to do so. Be aware, some don't allow for custom underbase settings
Yeah the first two I talked to said there's no way for them to do it bummer
Who making white ink bonding powder will game change
