Yea for sure. Some bands i like more but purely on vpices and vocal power these two win. Lzzy has to hold mic at arms length and point away when she goes hard cuz how much she puts into it. Seen them both live and they easily a top 3 concert. Iron maiden > shinedown> halestorm and in this moment best 3 concerts ive ever seen and ibe been to hundreds

"Breaking Inside" with Lzzy is on the 2010 deluxe reissue of Sound of Madness. I haven't found a recording of Shed Some Light w/ Lzzy. If you know where it's hiding in the stratosphere, please let me know. I can't find any other edition of Us and Them besides the original.

i have never heard this song before this was the first. It is an unbelievable song i love it. Them to collaborating together is perfect. i wish this was on one of their cds

I only found Breaking Inside about two years ago. I had the live version w/ Brent & Lzzy saved to "favorite videos," but it looks like YT pulled it.

Actually in an Interview lzzy said she spells it that way because a fan kept posting online about halestorm a long time ago and the fan spelled it lzzy so everyone who looked up the band saw it spelled like that.

@BlindDuck1 When I heard about this version of the song, i searched the web far and wide until I found it, so glad I could share it with eveyone. Lzzy and Shinedown have since recorded a version with their vocal parts reversed, pretty good but I think this one is more powerful.

This was originally supposed to be on Shinedown's "Us and Them" album...but they decided not to add it for some reason....which was a mistake cuz this is better than the regular version of the song!

Pretty cool take on an already cool song. I prefer the straight acoustic version from Us & Them, though. I love the way Brent Smith sings it. He's got a kick ass voice. The Sebastian Bach of his time.

@acsm1th3 First of all, her brother is the drummer, and the band has been together for 10+ years, and they finally are on the map. Definitely some loyalty there. 2nd, in what capacity should she join any of these bands? Surely you don't want her to replace any of their lead singers? And she clearly shouldn't be backup to anyone. Fronting Halestorm seems to be exactly where she should be, in my opinion.
