Same with quilts (I am a quilter). The trouble with quilts is there are SO many different designs and fabrics. Harder to match up the styles with the people who like them.

That silver cake stand would've been great to keep in the booth to display, elevate small items. You may want to consider that if you find something like that again. The duck basket would be good to keep in the booth and display any books for sale. You found so many good items today. BTW, insulated pipe covers are also good to use like you're using pool noodles. You can find them at lowes and home depot in the plumbing area, not too expensive. They are already cut on one side and have adhesive/tape on the cut side, to adhere them to pipe. Just another option if you can't find pool noodles. I love the granny square blankets and any crochet handmade things like that. My grandmother crocheted, and it always makes me think of her. A lot of time and love goes into those items and they deserve to be rescued and given another home, so thank you for that! Yeah, Kevin loves the granny squares but, he's tight and doesn't want to pay much for them. lol
Poor Mose! I don’t think he appreciated his new costume but he looked so cute. I always love to see the plush you find, especially the Squishmallows. We didn’t have that kind of plush when I was a kid. It’s always fun to watch you at the Bins. ❤

That Disney Main Street Electrical Parade plush gave me such a huge flashback. When I was 15 my high school band was invited to Florida to march in that parade. It was the 90s and the only time I ever went to Disney World.

I've got to know a bunch of the other pickers and we help each other. One lady picks up edibles to feed the squirrels, and I'll pass finds on to her. She often gives me items to sell that don't work for her. It's business but it's also a social occasion where you get to know people. The bins are head to beat, even at $1.99/lb at me location.

Hey guys my daughter was just diagnosed with FTD. When she was little she had a Snoopy dog like the one you just found in the bins. If you still have that I would love to buy it. I really believe it would brighten her day. She took that Snoopy dog everywhere she went until she was about 5 years old.
The crocheted-edged blanket is probably from Project Linus, where a crocheter (or maybe knitter) is given a piece of fleece and you create a border. The blankets are given to children who are seriously ill or traumatized. I guess someone outgrew theirs. And granny squares are crocheted, never knit.

Totally agree. I also crochet and it's nice when the blankets are recognized as crochet and not knit blankets. Nice when you know the difference.
