When I was going through radiation, a woman at the big WM cut in line in front of me and the nice lady behind me. That lady yelled at her for cutting in front and said this young man is going through cancer. She saw the scar on my neck, turns out that the manager was walking by the registers and heard her. He asked me if this was true, I told him yes and I had brain cancer. He told her she could get back in line, leave or pay for my handful of items, she huffed, got back in line then he comped my handful of groceries.

If you're comparing a first world with a third world economy, then no one is poor in America. I've been through situations like this. Sadly, Karen probably didn't learn anything at all after dozens of people told her that she's wrong. She's just going to be angry that everyone is out to get her for no reason, and she'll be worse than ever.
What kills me are the Karens who really think the video will exonerate them. Did she forget what really happened? In her tiny brain did her anger and self-righteousness rewrite history so that she full-on thought that her lies were the truth?
Yes I can actually put my second hand account how chemo effects you as a cancer survivor that went through chemotherapy as an 11 year old kid(now 27) and it knocked me out within the same day their is side effects but it’s rare I’m still 27 and I have the side effect
Glad that last story had such a nice ending. It actually made me smile! Hope the woman is doing well, her students and that Karen has learned her lesson. Though I strongly doubt she did.
That lady that accosted your son's teacher was apparently very stupid and obviously color blind. Most stores have workers wearing some kind of outfit usually with logo and name tags but crazy lady didn't bother to actually look for any of that. I'm guessing after the ordeal that your son's teacher went through, Karen was banned from shopping at that particular store but it makes me wonder if she's done that at other places.
Most folks are non-confrontational and want to get back to their day after being harassed. They’re well within their rights to press charges and should. More often than not, the behavior of “Karen” is ongoing. They cause problems everywhere and are known for being rude and entitled. Pressing charges is the only way to put a stop to the harassment and even then, it doesn’t always stop. Good for you!!
I don't know why OP didn't go to a manager first. After the donut incident I would have found some sort of security to get this crazy lady to stop harassing me. Preempt people!
Remember folks: when someone causes a scene at a store and accuses others of stealing, what's really going on is that SHE is the shoplifter and is trying to create a diversion. Someone I know who works in retail security told me this.
I've watched many of these now. I can't figure why the "victims" puts up with the bs these awful people throw out. These Karens should be called out the minute it starts. Call the manager, call the cops, put a camera on your house the minute you suspect what's happening. Don't be so patient.
It is unfortunately a horrific reality that in many communities in this wealthy nation, the United States, there are a great many children/students who are homeless or who live in homes that are food poor and who consequently are often unable to eat at home and who therefore rely on being fed at school during the school week and many who even must take food from the school home on Friday afternoons to ration to themselves ( and perhaps share with younger siblings) across the weekend until they can once again eat daily with resumption of their school week on Monday mornings. It's far more prevalent in some states than in others but is present as a problem across the country and is far more common than is generally known and is certainly vastly more pressing and common an issue than should be allowed in the most wealthy nation to ever grace the face of the Earth. Especially given that this incredibly wealthy nation is also a free and democratic republic in which the opportunity to offer aid readily exists via social programs, community and parent/school organizations, religious and secular associations, charities, etc. Even more appropriately through the political process in ensuring that educational institutions are far more appropriately funded. Despite the presence and readiness of such resources, the persistence of the problem, the visibility of the issue in the popular and political cultures, etc it remains woefully unresolved and not only remains but steadily is an increasing concern to the shame of every state and to all of us who are lucky enough and/or blessed enough to be more affluent and therefore less personally affected but who nevertheless aren't mindful of the need and who aren't charitably and/or politically more involved and effective in addressing and alleviating and, hopefully, eliminating the embarrassingly unnecessary and unbecoming problem. It often falls on the teachers themselves to assist children in their schools and classrooms with educational supplies and even with safety, clothing, and basic sustenance. There aren't strong enough words in any language to describe either how shameful, repugnant, and inappropriate it is that such need amongst our fellows and our children is permitted to exist and to grow or how laudable, respectable, and inspiring it is that there are teachers across the country who have the sympathy, empathy, honor, and love to voluntarily spend from their own unjustifiably ridiculously inadequate compensation to care for the children under their tutelage who are so affected. They struggle daily, to their own emotional and financial detriment, to fill the void and assuage the ills of the greater community overall when we collectively fail in our attentiveness to our responsibilities to our fellow citizens, our children, our ideals, and our shared futures and fortunes. Thank God they're there and here's to the hopes that we'll all soon give the issues the attention and the resolve so long overdue and that we give those teachers the heartfelt thanks, reparations, and compensation that's been so thoroughly earned and is so equally overdue.
The way a Karen's mind operates: I am right about this one thing. If someone tells me I am wrong I will refuse. I will be more right if someone tells me I am wrong. I will not stop until that person is proven wrong. That person is wrong no matter what. I will spare no expense.
Typical teacher. Even when she gets some money it's for her students. Over worked, under paid, and too often under appreciated. To anyone who disagrees, try working a week in their shoes, I dare you.
These Karens have WAY too many issues. I've tried to cancel my subscription but the cancel button has been torn off, and I believe it wasn a Karen but as you understand she keep changing her story, obviously.
I believe it. Worked that store fron Arkansas. Had done my shopping after my shift at 7pm, wearing my coat and heading out the door when a woman grabs my cart and demands a personal shopper assistant. Told her okay as soon as I take care of this cart and come back in. Didn't tell her that was going to be 11am the next day.🤣
I can’t find it, but back in WW2 a home guard bloke thought someone was a spy. Villagers came out to stop him being crazy. Then he accused them of being spies. I think he shot five people? When folk get ‘locked in’ they are really insane.
My mother had breast cancer and was lucky. She only needed radiation and its chemical post care medicine. My heart goes out to the real true Lady in this story. . She is a true hero,. Like many heros she will say she only doing what is necessary. The other evil person was simply a biological female, and not much of one at that. As my favorite author wrote "God must be terribly disappointed from time to time. " I believe the late Father Greeley knew people, those who are credit to God and man, and tose who shame both. I am not a church going person, but my prayers and my heart go out to you. Your clear and simple example inspires other , in these dark times. Many thanks and my very best wishes to you, your family, and community. God bless you all.
I would likely have called the manager for her after the first donuts incident. But I understand the lady's reluctance, she just didn't want to expend any more energy on the ridiculous things that 'K' was claiming. But it was obvious that 'K' was going to escalate things.
I've been lucky not to be mistaken for a store employee (so far), it's likely to do with how I dress. Normal going out for me, camouflage combat pants, combat boots, any number of Star Wars shirts (my Mandalorian mythosaur shirt is my current favourite) and my Mandalorian camouflage ball cap (yes, I'm a Mandalorian in and out of cosplay). Plus I go out with my service animal, severe injury due to combat/peacekeeping in '91 left me with nerve damage in my left leg and PTSI on top of my autism. Now, entitled people/parents/kids are a different story, those are ALWAYS trying to pet my SA and get super offended when I tell them NO! he's a SA and you can't touch, pet, interact with him.
hope her kimo (not sure how its spelled) goes well and she get rid of the cancer completly (hope her family is doing well to, not fun seeing someone going true the treatment of cancer)
12:20 I'm glad she pressed charge but I am slightly upset that she considered letting her go. Karens actually ruin people's lives with false police reports and legal actions and if they don't have a record for this kind of behavior when their are all sorts of witnesses and evidence they can win. You owe it to the next person this Karen harasses (and all the people after that) to press charges.
OP, I hope you are doing well. My mother had breast cancer and light radiation after it. I cannot express how strong I find you. Nor do I have words vile enough to address the Karen in your post. I hope the judge takes your condition into account when punishing her. SF author Robert Heinlein wrote "There is a certain type person, the shooting of which should be considered Discharging a Firearm with City limits, or a similar misdemeanor. " Seriously, I pray for your quick and full recovery. May God protect, comfort and bless you and your family.
Damn, this jaren really had nothing better to do today than harass someone on misunderstabding. Like she doesn't have a life, husband or children to take care. Very selfish.
I wish I could encounter a Wild Karen. My mother was a teacher and have several high school classmates that are teachers. Underpaid and under appreciated. Hope this lady is in remission. God speed

This whole story took place at a big box store called "Meijer's" my dad worked at a location for 13 years(when they had red shirts instead of blue) and he has stories about how incompetent some of the managers were and how stupid/entitled some of the customers. The founders were really neat though. My dad is retired now, after he did the work of his 60 year self, plus 3 20 year olds, dealing with the manager throwing away his water bottle thus working himself into diabetes. He retrieved the carts from the lot.

What kills me are the Karens who really think the video will exonerate them. Did she forget what really happened? In her tiny brain did her anger and self-righteousness rewrite history so that she full-on thought that her lies were the truth?
If anybody ever deserved $100 then that last poor lady did. Great tales as ever.
My favorite so far! I hope the teacher recovered from cancer and never met another Karen! However - the incident did turn out rather profitable.
Yes I can actually put my second hand account how chemo effects you as a cancer survivor that went through chemotherapy as an 11 year old kid(now 27) and it knocked me out within the same day their is side effects but it’s rare I’m still 27 and I have the side effect
Congratulations for beating it, and sorry for your still experience the side effects.
I'm 30 and I still get "chemo cramps" on my feet sometimes
Like my big toe on my right foot it dropped(basically I can't move my big toe).@@purelylindsay
So glad she pressed charges!
Glad that last story had such a nice ending. It actually made me smile! Hope the woman is doing well, her students and that Karen has learned her lesson. Though I strongly doubt she did.
I used to work for Meijer's. I hope they banned that karen for life. Glad she pressed charges against her
I'm so glad she got arrested. Most evil consumers get away with it.
I worked with a Karen in my life once. OMG! This Karen sounds so much like the Karen on this video. The most annoying person I have ever worked with.
Thats my son teacher [on chemo,2 sons 3 and 4,buried mother-in-law
Preempt people!
the last story.. best ending.. love it when people are good in nature and do good
Remember folks: when someone causes a scene at a store and accuses others of stealing, what's really going on is that SHE is the shoplifter and is trying to create a diversion.
The way a Karen's mind operates:
I am right about this one thing.
If someone tells me I am wrong I will refuse.
I will be more right if someone tells me I am wrong.
I will not stop until that person is proven wrong.
That person is wrong no matter what.
I will spare no expense.
Thats almost the narcissists prayer.
If I were ever assaulted in a store, either verbally or physically, I would deal with the situation. Harshly.
yeah I know how you feel
you can always find a Karen like that one once in a while
Verbal assault I shrug off. Other situations might require more harsh measures. I always carry. Enough said...
Phil Grindle same here!!!
Typical teacher. Even when she gets some money it's for her students. Over worked, under paid, and too often under appreciated. To anyone who disagrees, try working a week in their shoes, I dare you.
Poor lady, its awful what she went through. Hope she is better.
This Karen is by far the worst one I've heard of
These Karens have WAY too many issues. I've tried to cancel my subscription but the cancel button has been torn off, and I believe it wasn a Karen but as you understand she keep changing her story, obviously.
After hearing this story I think this should be aired on Dateline NBC. This sort of behavior is unacceptable.
Wow!! What a beautiful manager and teacher!!!
The thumbnail is a dead ringer for Debbie Wasserman-Shultz.
LOL. I feel bad for her constituents.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I would likely have called the manager for her after the first donuts incident. But I understand the lady's reluctance, she just didn't want to expend any more energy on the ridiculous things that 'K' was claiming. But it was obvious that 'K' was going to escalate things.
I know what store story number 1 was shopping at. Gotta love Meijer's!
Now, entitled people/parents/kids are a different story, those are ALWAYS trying to pet my SA and get super offended when I tell them NO! he's a SA and you can't touch, pet, interact with him.
good story, I hope she feels better with her chemo or doesn't need it anymore at all
hope her kimo (not sure how its spelled) goes well and she get rid of the cancer completly (hope her family is doing well to, not fun seeing someone going true the treatment of cancer)
So the slug made her throw up? The only thing that could have made that better, would have been if she had actually painted the slug with her barf.
Damn, this jaren really had nothing better to do today than harass someone on misunderstabding. Like she doesn't have a life, husband or children to take care. Very selfish.
They should bring back public floggings just for Karens like this.
Nothing changes behavior like physical "discomfort".
Good god what was this creature that took human form????? Holy shiz
I wish I could encounter a Wild Karen. My mother was a teacher and have several high school classmates that are teachers. Underpaid and under appreciated. Hope this lady is in remission. God speed
I can never be wrong and will double down on any position i hold without critical thought.
Man some people have the nerve to do that ? I find that the store makes more than one batch of pastry. I would like have one of those people confront me !
The ending of the last story is somehow restoring my faith in humanity. Thumbs up to the teacher.
Its really sad when old ladies go crazy like this.
😂 It's sad when anybody goes "crazy like this"!😂
My god, people like this exist in real. What compels them to behave the way you do, I'll never understand.
Keep up the great videos, I love listening to you at work. You have an amazing voice that makes your videos better than other reddit story readers. Road to 100k with be swift and well deserved!!! Redwheel to 100k!!!
The store is Meijer, they used to be called Thrifty Acres. I once received a resume from an applicant that listed Meijer Fifty Acres as a previous employer. Yeah, I openly laughed about it.
awesome that through some persons hateful ignorance others benefited... true justice..
I cant imagine having the patience to not knock there teeth out for touching me.
I think that as I sit in my recliner drinking a mountain dew in my white sweet shirt and blue jeans and black boots , which are really comfortable , oh my poor cat got hurt last week and is wearing a cone to keep from scratching the wound and my mother isn't feeling well and my car needs a tune up and an oil change that this story is OK
If someone hits me they'll end up unconscious on the floor. Easy as pie. Mess with the bull... *But* *most* *of* *all* *I* *hope* *OP* *is* *doing* *well!* *
I wouldnt mind going to jail for murder. If its gonna keep some peace and quiet, I'll take it
In this case, I think it would be self defense.
Justifiable homicide...lol
Karen needs help! She thinks she can take out of another person's cart, she didn't care what was marked down, she thought it was cookies when the lady had them at first, without looking at them, she is asking insane. The one about the security guard and the woman wanting him to get her groceries in a store that doesn't offer that service to begin with proves she thinks she is above everybody and entitled, then to call the police because he refused and the owner escorted her out of his store because she felt entitled was funny, she got what she deserved in the end.
We need to pay teacher 2-3 times what they’re normally paid. They’re teaching our future.
I would not have been so patient with that first Karen.
all one long story. Wow. Horrible woman.
Ooohh THIS was a GOOD ONE!! TY. Just goes to show...someone may SEEM fine on the OUTSIDE, but u Don't Know WHAT is going on INSIDE!!! They may have some illness u Don't Know about & Can't See!!!!!! (Called an invisible illness)
I am one of those...people remark, "but LOOK Fine".…but I'm Not...➕ u don't know what the person might b going through something very traumatic. Be kind to others! " Do Unto Others, As You Would have them do Unto YOU!!
I truly don't get it. Why is NOT able to hear people tell her that her victim don't work there? That's very odd.
I pray for your recovery from cancer. God bless you.
11:18 Oh please puke on Karen oh please oh please
*Satisfying anyway.
I don't think I ever met a Karen out in the wilds. I've seen some but never been confronted by one. Some morbid curiosity of mine makes me kinda want to encounter one.... I am indeed mentally challenged, yes. XD
I worked for two years in the toy department at M Thrifty Acres back in 199-2001 and boy, I have so many Karen stories from my time there.
kudos for this store and the manager!
there are still some good people around...
Yeah. Sad thing is that they are so few and so far between!
@@tootsiedawn2016 hey, we've got to be unique in some way... ;)
It's too bad OP didn't aim her vomit at her... that would have been epic and well deserved!
I think they may need a competency test on Karen before trial.
Karen's is very rude! 😒
LOL Meijer Thrifty Acres haven t thought of them in 30 years
This whole story took place at a big box store called "Meijer's" my dad worked at a location for 13 years(when they had red shirts instead of blue) and he has stories about how incompetent some of the managers were and how stupid/entitled some of the customers. The founders were really neat though. My dad is retired now, after he did the work of his 60 year self, plus 3 20 year olds, dealing with the manager throwing away his water bottle thus working himself into diabetes. He retrieved the carts from the lot.
What story?
@@melkiorwiseman5234 The one from video.
Nice story, should write books about it. What an good story tiller.
I have worked in retail don't need to say any more
That's sad, harrasing a kemo patiant, and then the kemo person getting sick. Just once I would like to hear a bully meeting their match with another bully. By the way, you are such a great narrarator of these story's, keep em out there for us to listen to. Story wise you're almost as good as Paul Harvey. 2 different types of story tellers, but you know what I mean. It's just when one hears you, it's like having patato chips, ya just can't have one, ya gotta enjoy more. Well that's how you present yourself. So yeah I enjoy more then one story. Oh and (YOU) stay away from any Karen's. Ha, lol.
I am truly surprised that none of the people who related these stories (those I've listened to) have put a haymaker on the SOB's who harassed them even after being told several times: I DON'T WORK HERE!
Geez- I wouldn't answer the phone after my chemo treatments. For a week!
I actually have a mid-chemo Karen story.
This one right here is worthy of a 1000👍 from each person
BIG LIKE. I spent many years in grocery biz and can totally relate. Then in catering restaurant as well. Ah the memories !!! LOL
Probably didn't change Karen's attitude, she'll still blame you but if the court got the tapes and the officer went to court she was definitely inconvenienced and probably racked up $1k in court fees. Hopefully more.
I am CHEERING bc she pressed charges
The sad part is, I have met tons of people like this and can confirm these stories exist to be the truth. People out there think the world revolve around them.
Noo... Always press charges 😂😂😂
Ok what is that amazing music in the background
I only noticed it on the teachers story 😫
