The creator of this show is Dutch and I remember him saying on a Dutch talkshow when they sold this format to the US, the one coach we have to get for the American version no matter the costs is Christina Aguilera because she is THE voice of this generation.
and she was the most beautiful, interestint and coolest coach this show could have, I miss here soooo much.

Did you ALL HEAR the part of Blake saying "WE BUILT THIS SHOW AROUND HER" . Shey was the one and only that Marc the producer had in mind for the female coach. She was there from the start and they all LOVE having her back, so Im sorry but its HER place, not Gwen's... I wish she would stay for good but since she releasing her TWO albums sept/octuber she wont probably be back for season 11 but sure season 12.
I really would wish she was there every season, but I think Gwen is a nice fit for when she's not around.
Yes, I agree. she is a Real singer, unlike Usher and Pharrel. She has done it all, and has earned her seat there as a Judge. Smiley is a big joke, and shouldn't be taken seriously, especially after her stunt with Robin Thicke.
