I don't understand why some you tubers build up their subscribers and then just disappear and can't be bothered to let anyone know what's going on really shows how much they care about their subscribers
163rd class!!!! Cool to see our classroom and building on RUclips. I haven't been back since I graduated so it's cool to see it again. Cool to be a part of that history and have my face on that wall.
The history of that building It's totally amazing. Very much enjoyed listening and looking at all. The wood that made that building.. Thank you for sharing this amazing journey. Looking at all the different rooms. And the history is the best part.😊
What an amazing building! Really enjoyed the history side of the NHLA and all the different types of wood being utilised everywhere. Super vlog Wade. Thanks for posting. 🇬🇧👍👍👍
Wade Thanks You for this very Interesting Video. To see the Different Wood Sort and the Work up where too the Cut in the Sawmill a great Roll have. Very good Video. Thanks and Greeting from Austria 🇦🇹
Thanks for sharing your tour of the classroom. Was nice to see the various people and the variety of woods used in the building. Also reminded me of various trade related classes I’ve taken over the years. Surprising how many parallels there are in classrooms and schools that cover so many diverse topics. I can listen to you talk nonstop and it’s never boring. Wishing you and your family the best.
That's cool. Bob Sabentina used to grade my dad's lumber back in the 79. I was the one who grabbed the stickers off the lumber bundles after each row was completed. I was 10 years old. My brother graduated from NHLA in 1982. Dad ran Frick Co. Equipment, morbark debarker, chipper, Newman trim saw. He shut down april 2003. I took over, I run Baker equipment. I still have all of dad's equipment. Graybill Lumber in Ohio. Wade, you gave me one of your hats at the Paul Bunyan Show in Ohio, 2018. It was on a Sunday, I tried to pay you but you wouldn't take any money. THANK YOU!!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience, and a special thank you for shouting out our outstanding Instructors and National Inspectors! They work very hard every single day to make sure our community has the skills and resources needed to grow and overcome challenges in the industry. Our HQ here in Memphis is filled with history from our beginnings 125 years ago, and we welcome everyone to stop by some day and take a tour to see the depth and beauty of North American hardwoods up close 😄
Back in the 80s, my dad cut a few butternut trees and didnt know what they was till they got them to the mill. The owner of the mill made cabinets for his daughters house out of them. We havent seen one since.
Where did the Butter Nut trees grow? Was it a southern tree or Northern tree or a Mid West tree or a West Coast or Noth West tree??? I'm in NC and I don't recall anyone talking about a Butter Nut Tree and I used to be a carpenter for many years using Pine and other hardwoods!
Very informative, not sure what to say other than thanks for taking us for the ride. I used to be a contractor and love working with a lot of different hard woods and you brought back many memories of what colors and grains textures there are. Just thanks! I really like a good cherry wood my self. The dark colors can make lots of things POP .....
thanks for sharing your school experience with us,great video Wade, and i didn't find you where talking so much, any ways you have that kind of voice you don't get tired of hearing 👍👍👍👍👍
..................G'day Wade, hey mate we watch your videos to see what you are doing. That entails listening to how you feel, and the stories you have to tell. I love your open heart and how you share yourself with us/me. Just keep being you! Cheers and kind regards, Malcolm.
I love all that different hardwoods used in that building!! Great video Wade! I learned something new today!! The other thing that was cool in those offices is the windows at roughly a 45° angle and the walls followed those angles so the sun light wouldn't be over baring!! This building was well thought out!! Kudos to the designers of this building! Alot of thought was put into this and it shows!!
Hi Wade how’s it going, that was an awesome video. Lots of information and history and the building was beautiful. Your talking and input during the video did not bother me at all thanks 👍🏻
It woul;d be different if you were just rambling but everything you interject is interesting sir. Always love whatever you put out. So full of enthusiasm that ti is all just interesting. thank you
Have to wonder if there is recorded man hours of all that hardwood being put in to place as all that was being built and displaying it all that place is extremely impressive
Howdy from Kansas. I like the videos you do. Next time you go to School I'd ask dad if you could take one of the models he has done and see what they say
Years ago we use to cut Hackberry S&B that ended up at a Gun Stock manufacture. They'd use Walnut stain on it and sell the stocks as Walnut Stocks. Seemed dishonest, but that's just my thoughts.
Please start posting again
