I love your lawn Fawn haul, super fun! I love using your link and always appreciate your reminder. Your channel is such a light and beacon to this community. I really appreciate you and am so grateful for you. That is so exciting for your son to move to California, what a long ways a way. Is he moving for school, work, both? My oldest son moved to Minnesota and he married his girlfriend so that was unexpected and exciting. They told us after the fact so happy to get a daughter in law. My oldest daughter has moved to Utah and is going to school. I think it's bittersweet to have them grow up and leave. There are some nice things about it but it's also sad to have them so far away. Anyways, I hope you feel better soon. That stinks, allergies are horrible and then getting sick on top of that is no fun. I always appreciate you leaving a reply to my comment; that really helps it feel like a conversation. I love the stuff you got. I got a lot of the same things. I put that bee keepers bear die in my cart as soon as I saw it because I have been waiting for it, too. I got all of the same stamp sets except for the money, so I am excited to see what you do with it. I also picked up the dragon flip flop(?) stamp because I use the dragon on so many cards that now I can fill up my scene better. I did get the stitching die set, because I love the stitching dies. I also got the border dies, all except for the diaganol striped one, maybe next time. I got paper too, but I got the pearlescent vellum. I think that about wraps up what I got, so many things that you did, yay! Maybe I can pull my stuff out and craft along with you when you are making your lawn Fawn cards. I am so excited to see what you made on Monday, that is something to look forward to, for sure! I hope you have a wonderful weekend, I am so grateful for your friendship and for this channel. This is my favorite RUclips channel and I watch all of your videos, you brighten my day. I love all of the inspiration and motivation I get from you. It’s definitely very bittersweet! My first child to move out and he is going all the way across the country! But his original plan was to move to Germany so I guess I can be thankful that he’s still in the same country, a much shorter and cheaper plane ride away. He’ll be busy in school so I doubt he’ll be home too often, but we hope to bring him home for Christmas. We’ll see how it works out with whatever job he gets. But I’m so glad I’ll get to help move him out there and see that he’s staying in a safe place.
I really wanted the border dies! Maybe next time. I also had the flip flop dragon in my cart, but I was over budget so I had to take him back out. Maybe I should have gotten those instead of the money set? At the time I was thinking that with my kids starting to move out, maybe it would come in handy to send them little gifts of money or gift cards. I don’t know.🤷🏻♀️ It’s always so hard to choose!

Safe journeys on your road trip with your son. Those trips are very bittersweet. But at the same time, they make you feel extremely proud. It means you've done a great job raising your child/children, so that they feel secure enough to take the next steps in their future endeavors. Christy, I see so many RUclipsrs & their craft spaces & I'm glad you say it like it is & sometimes the struggle is real to keep on budget. Have a great trip, but I'm sad for you that your son is moving away. 😢
The struggle is absolutely real! I funnel whatever I earn on RUclips back into the channel, but I earn in a month here the same amount I make working two days at my regular part-time job. In other words, it’s very, very little. And with the new changes, I’m earning less this year than ever. And I work 4-5 days a week at this. So it’s becoming kind of impossible to keep it going. I really don’t know what to do about it, but I’m trying to hang in there as long as I can. But it’s sobering to know that I could go get another part-time job working minimum wage one extra day a week and make way more money working way less than I do now. It’s becoming unsustainable, unfortunately. But anyway, thank you for the understanding! Yes, it will be difficult having my son all the way across the country! But I’m proud of him and want him to follow his passions.💖
