Now I’ve looked for fuses can’t seem to find any out but I may have been looking at wrong ones…lol I’ve disconnected the battery n nothing. I need to know my mileage n all the other things that’s on that screen I want to use again. No one can seem to help me but I have not taken it to Honda nor do I really want but I’m getting desperate. Certain newer years of Hondas take a certain transmission fluid which you have to take to them for service but some very few Napa stores carry it. I just so happened to know someone who works there and got a few gallons just in case. I hope you can get it figured out and I always try to work on my car or take to a mechanic and not Honda cause their so durn expensive. Best of luck
I'm gonna ask hoping someone comes along and reads this, why don't it show an actual odometer on the 2014 Honda Civic. It just shows the RPM gage on the bottom screen. Top screen just the speed you're going. No actual "top speed" or how fast it's registered for. Not a big deal, I've had the car for 7 years now. Just wondering why it's now shown.
tried this on my 2012. civic lx and I went into the diag menu and I can get out by holding the same two button but when I turn car off and the next time I turn key on it goes to the diag menu again and I have to hit the 2 buttons again.

Does no one get that when you first reset the tripometer it resets you average MPG. So if you took off and then came to a stop to film this your average MPG would show nothing horrible reading. The same of you reset while cruising at highway speed but then getting off an off ramp and coming to a stop. You would be showing a crazy high MPG like 80 MPG.
When someone tailgating you dangerously. This function gives you a chance to read the license plate number.
Why do you need to read their plate tho lol

Once you go on the highway for a couple of miles it will go back to normal values
When you deal with road rage or a biker who is angry with you, it's good to know that this function is available.
Or carrying a bike. Make sure you didn't leave child on it.

The main reason for this option to exist is that it is used to adjust the yellow backup guiding lines on the screen.
