Don’t let your brain think so much about it. Get busy and move around it does help. We all go through low times this WILL PASS……. Oh Merina, I have so many ideas for your second living room. My fav is keeping it comfy like you said but I would put a farmhouse table (with leaves for it) and still have room for maybe a corner wood stove, a love seat and one or two comfy chairs or rockers. The table could be used for home schooling and when your Nana and/or other guests come for a meal you all have a place for eating. I am picturing putting in a ceiling light/chandelier in the same hardware as kitchen and can see a beautiful table scape as you prepare a big thanksgiving dinner in your beautiful kitchen and still not be cut off from your guests. Your mansion is beautiful!

Did you know they sell special tops you can put over your glass top stove to protect it? I had a microwave over my stove & always scared I would drop something out of the micro & break my glass top. Look them up & when Shane sees it, I bet he could make you one.😊❤

A rectangular mirror on the seasonal table wall would look really nice, and reflect your fireplace wall. I use mirrors a lot and they really open a room. When they come down to paint, I can't wait to get them back up cuz I start feeling claustrophobic.
