I love that radio. Main reason I got mine was I drove wrecker for 12 years it’s an excellent scanner. It’s lasted over 10 years , only thing I ever replaced was the antenna. I never knew it be useful for trail running. It’s why I have my cb. But I like the mount mine is hook n looped to my drivers pillar. After I save up for the cargo rack you got I’ll get the little things like the mats n that mount. But first is the cargo rack. Lol

Very nice rig and radio set up.
I installed a BTECH AMP-U25D 20-40watt Amplifier and a Nagoya UT-72G magnetic antenna in my ram 2500 diesel. I run either my 8watt UV-5R or my wouxon KV-UG9G PRO GMRS radios. The UV-5R will only transmit in the 400mhz band with the amp on but it’s an outstanding setup without spending a ton of money. GMRS pushes between 25-30watts with the amp, HAM is slightly higher.

Like your set up brother nice and clean, I personally can’t handle stuff on my dash, I ran an outside antenna into my Jeep because I get better reception and ran all the cables into my center console along with a charger for the radio so it all stays in the center console except the Mic!! I love it I figure I don’t ever need access to the radio quickly because it’s an act of congress to change the channels and get everyone else to get on the same channel lol! I just carry another radio with me that I can grab if I want to get out of the Jeep and help someone. I did have to mount my tablet with my trail maps on it, on that grab bar so I could see it while navigating the trails

Another cool thing I run as well are WALKER noise canceling headsets with the two radio snapped on them it is a GREAT thing for summer you just push a button on the headset to talk to people!! Basically like rugged radio headsets without any wires and a Hell of a lot cheaper!

love to see more content. Really of anything. Bloopers sound fun. One suggestion, maybe get a external mic. Some videos it's hard to hear you guys, even with the vol tuned up on the computer. Keep on having fun. remember, keep the rubber side down.

For once! I like the mount lol
Please invest in an external antenna THEY MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE
And one of 2 things A . The bigger battery and or 2. The battery eliminator.
I have the bigger battery with usb charging port. I find the port kills my recieve.
But i get SOME fars on my external.
    In using a Kmc -45
    Love it! ❤️

We definitely went with the larger battery I’m going to get a dedicated system for the rig and just use the baofeng for spotting.

Have you ever had to contact the company about anything? I've been sending them emails for 10 days with no response. I went ahead and ordered amount anyway. Just curious if you've ever contacted them and they got back to you, and what the time frame was?
