LOVE these guys and any show is a great one, but hands down best setlist of the tour by far! I envy you lucky fucks who were there!!! I never catch them at a gig where they bust out old stuff.
@Keanu Beaves Full concerts are posted all the time without RUclips taking them down. And what does it matter if the viewer paid tickets or not?? It’s a video for all of us to watch and enjoy, including yourself.
You’re right. The original formation was a mixture of members of Soundgarden and Screaming Trees members. Matt Cameron was the drummer for the first show as Queens before he was replaced with Alfredo.
I mean... It's like, the first time they played it live in over a decade. Pretty sure they hardly even rehearsed it much in that timespan either. BTW, I wanna ask which part you're talking about? The guitar solo and the part in the chorus + bridge? Those are new guitar parts (also Dean plays the guitar solo instead of Josh) because the song wasn't written with three guitar parts in mind.
@@CCDaDon15 Hear this amazing version. ruclips.net/video/mWmtyLz4Srg/видео.html However, if you listen carefully the studio version you'll find 3 different guitar parts on the intro and some doubled guitars (yes, like a double cheeseburger) playing the same parts during the solo.
@@rabbi1743 Joaquín Andrade is on point. Why? Go listen the 2005 live version in Australia. ruclips.net/video/mWmtyLz4Srg/видео.html Josh's voice and Troy's lap steel guitar were amazing there. Maybe it's really difficult to play this song 13 years after the Lullabies tour. However, Dean's guitar solo is really on focus here!
Man!! I was there ... SO GOOD. They havent played this song for a very long time at a live show.
I wish they would have played this one when I saw them in Winnipeg a couple months later. What an underrated tune.
Im amazed at how fast he's able to strum
Punk rock baby
Lucky Bastards right there
Josh Homme - Guitar, Vocals, Special Teams Punter.
mikey with that stunner gold suit though
Kinda jealous of those lucky bastards who saw this stuff happening right in front of them.
Can't wait until 2024 for the downunder tour. ❤️💜💙💚💛🧡❤️
This show was fantastic
I was there!!!! Such an incredible setlist that night. Then saw and met them a few months later at the Commodore
I was there with my son . What an awesome show !
wow they nailed it. wish there was more bass in the audio.
ONE OF THE BEST SONGS ON QOSG, I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY SHE IS LEFT OUT IN MANY PRESENTATIONS? BUT THIS MUSIC IS SO AWESOME.
One of the best shows I've ever seen. Seriously
Wonderful song from a wonderful album. I have seen QOTSA live twice.
Thank You Thank You Thank You
To be at a show where they play this and tangled up in plaid is mind blowing. Beyond jealous of everyone who got to witness this shit
great sound on your recording

Legend
Dean is playing the solo
sad
Yea what’s up w that. When I was there I was a lil disappointed cuz Deans attempt sounded hollow and..forced? Idk.
@@dreamyoufindyou it’s not hollow or forced it’s just the same notes being played in a slightly different style lol
Love 💕
Had a heart attack when I saw it posted a mere six days ago.
About fucking time.
Hot damn
Could you post a vid of the whole show??? Pretty please?
lastcallpagee no, because that would be taken down by youtube. You didn’t pay for tickets did you?

I thought Gamma Ray formed in Seattle while Josh moved there for a bit after Kyuss

🤘🔥
Are we gonna ignore how far off the lead guitar sounds? It's almost as if he forgot how the song goes, but aside from that it's an awesome show
Right! non the less...

QOTSA are the new middle of the road ...
Lullabies songs with the sound of the last album sounds absolutely terrible.
i think it is because of the recording or the mixing (i dont think it was mixed anyway lol)
Troy's guitar is way to fucking loud
His voice has some trouble in this particular song at least
