      Finally got my elevon setup done using Flysky I6B Rx. Had trouble with sorting out elevator and ailerons. Ailerons would work on elevator stick and elevator would work on aileron stick. Solution finally found by reversing the servos at the receiver. That got everything going in the right direction. Reversing channel direction on the transmitter would put the ailerons on the aileron stick but then the elevators were reversed, up was down and down was up. Got a headache trying to figure it out. Had no trouble setting up throttle arming switch. Next I will set up a plane with dual rates and expo. Wish me luck!

    Hi John, I wonder if you can shed any light on this for me...
    I have watched most of your Vids on open TX and the TX16s great knowledge you have :)
    I know how to set up these little Eachine planes but I have found that I can only get them to bind if I check the "low power" button.
    The problem with this is that they go out of range really quick.. Do you know of a way around this?

    • @RCVideoReviews
      @RCVideoReviews  2 года назад

      That doesn't sound right. Have you tried ensuring your radio is a few feet away from the Rx?

    • @PeterWinnett
      @PeterWinnett 2 года назад

      @@RCVideoReviews I was hoping you were right but alas not.. I have tried to bind from 10ft away and it just sits there but as soon as I change the power setting to low power it binds. When I try to bind without the LP button checked I can hear a small chirp as if it's bound but it's not. Then when I check the LP button it starts to work. The problem is on LP the range is about 50 yrds... Regards, Pete

    Hi, can you tell me what trims T5 & T6 are used for? Regards, Pete

    • @RCVideoReviews
      @RCVideoReviews  2 года назад

      My understanding is glider pilots put them to use. A glider with four aileron servos for instance, can use a trim switch for the 2nd pair of servos. I haven't found much use for them, outside of using them as momentary switches which is cool because two extra switches give you 4 extra momentary switches.

    Useful video but The amount of fiddling and stuff you have to do to setup a simple model or the most basic stuff with these radios is beyond annoying. One of the most anti user friendly products or experiences I have had in the hobby… I got my first opentx radio last month and I find myself coming back to my flysky everytime, simply plug and play, the opposite from these opentx radios
