I know a guy who beat a woman to death. Until her brother insisted on an autopsy, they said it was due to her drinking. Somehow they completely overlooked her being beaten to a pulp, bc she has a history of alcoholism. DV is no joke
I have deep sympathy for both those who have lost their life's to abuse and families whom lost their loved one's I am a victim of abuse and I am ignored so understand 100% what these people have been through!
"Lessons need to be learned." How often and for how long have we heard that from the police? Why didn't they study in their actual lessons in school? Now they're still saying that the dog ate their homework 'Guv.
Me and my daughter are currently in hiding from my husband we are domestic violence survivors and above i posted a short picture we are in desperate need of help from being hacked by him he watches listening blocks phone calls msgs WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR ANY SORT OF HAND OUTS OR MONEY we have a restraining order against him police do nothing and we just need help with getting our life back
Officer Matthieson is emotionally disengaged from the victims, which I can sort of understand but we're talking about _people_ and their lives, not procedures. Not included in this report is the death of Katie Simpson in N.Ireland. Her partner (of sorts) allegedly killed her but took his life on day 1 of his murder trial (he was NOT in custody). He had a previous conviction of serious domestic abuse. He had taken Katie to A&E numerous times with injuries that he put down to her horse riding (they were both equestrians). He took her to hospital after she was strangled and sexually assaulted - actions that led to her death. He was chief mourner at her funeral! The PSNI still isn't taking the investigation seriously; or at least they are not being transparent about their findings. May all these ladies - and men, because they can also be victims - rest in peace. And may the police forces across the UK take domestic violence far more seriously.
What about men???, I know of one man personally, the woman confessed to at the time.police didn't investigate properly or timely !!!. When she confessed to me she gave me exact details, that were never made public !!!!😠
This is so sad . These woman suffered at the hands of there abusers . These woman had dreams and futures . I hope there is justice served. I hope this never happens to anyone else. I admire the bravery of the families and woman. My deepest condolences to the families ❤❤❤
So tragic such strong mothers their daughters would be so proud of the fight in them and I believe her when she promised that she will make sure it never happens again keep it up mum.A thing of beauty is a joy forever it shall never turn into nothingness.x
If someone’s found with sudden death they’re not a victim until it’s proved they’re a victim even your sticker says they say they’re victims doesn’t make it true
Am I missing something here with regards to the first case. It's seen as suicide according to what the police found. She'd hung herself it appears. Then later because someone told her mum they thought it there might have been DV of some kind and that the daughter may have been cheating the mum goes on to persue a theory she was murdered based on this? The ex BF was arrested a year later but no evidence at all concluding any wrong doing it seems. And also because the dad, under police supervision, transported her body to the mourge, the mother also sees this as some kind of conspiracy? Honestly this is a none story.
1. There was no post mortem done so it was not treated as suspicious, they decided it was suicide without investigating further, had they investigated further they could have confirmed it was definitely not murder, but they didn't. 2. Her friend told her she was being abused AND it turns out she had reported assault to the police before, this strongly indicates there was domestic violence, men who hit can become men who kill. 3. One of the two most common reasons for men murdering a partner is when she's about to leave or infidelity occurring on either side, so yes, the fact he just found out she was seeing someone else on the day she died is EXTREMELY suspicious not a non-story in the slightest! I can tell you don't watch true crime to think that... 4. Yes it is weird his father transported the body, he could have been doing so to prevent more people noticing suspicious injuries on her body etc also even if it wasn't that, i understand family members of the woman not wanting a family member of the man who COULD have killed (and most likely was abusing ) their daughter, doing that. 5. No one said the police had a conspiracy against her, its more likely they wanted to save money and time by not investigating further and getting the case closed quickly and were arrogant and threatened by someone inferring they're aren't doing their jobs properly, not that they intentionally protected a killer.
👏👏👏🎯 interesting that men do not use their position of privilege in society to raise awareness about the horrific abuse of women in our society. Instead they write comments like this. A woman is killed by a man every 3 days on average in a the UK. 🤦🏻♀️.

Little wonder the poor lady had a history of alcoholism, which is often a consequence of trauma. I'm so sorry.
@@polly6336 Yep spot on. It amazes me people use it as an excuse for abuse. It is almost always a consequence of it, and of helplessness.
Poor woman. This is devastating. She has been BADLY let down.

Yes, interestingly, events would indicate they seem to be avoiding learning them.
@@bec5250 actively dismissing them to bunk off, get drunk and make rude, sexist comments to show the women who's boss.
This is unacceptable
The happenings around her death and after are inappropriate and highly suspicious
Injustice for a vulnerable individual
Too many enablers for this abuse and failed by the authorities.
This... is why I stay single
Being single doesn't necessarily protect you from those that want you dead. It's a scary world out there.
Same!! I’m not going to be a statistic. Never.
same. And add to the abuse, the attitude of the Police... total trauma
Very sad... Tragic.

Police cost cutting again. All they think about is "how much will this cost? How much paperwork will this involve?"
They do.
the friends could have spoken sooner.
Starmer will make sure they’re out asap cos Doris up the road made a mean comment online. Absolutely disgusting.
