Let's keep the ROC alive in Taiwan until the Communist regime's house of cards economy collapses. The PRC government is ideologically bankrupt and full of contradictions whilst the people are fickle and care only about money, as soon as the economy starts to stagnate, as will inevitably happen as in Taiwan or Japan (or worse), the ROC can make a return. Many young mainland Chinese deep down admire Taiwanese and Japanese society and hopefully will change their own country for the better.
I think it is the logical conclusion. 16 countries still recognize it as the only government of China (I hope when we Catalans become independent we do so too), most of the world maintain relationships via trade offices. The Soviet regime failed and Russia became a democracy. So will the PRC one.

Let's keep the ROC alive in Taiwan until the Communist regime's house of cards economy collapses. The PRC government is ideologically bankrupt and full of contradictions whilst the people are fickle and care only about money, as soon as the economy starts to stagnate, as will inevitably happen as in Taiwan or Japan (or worse), the ROC can make a return. Many young mainland Chinese deep down admire Taiwanese and Japanese society and hopefully will change their own country for the better.
I think it is the logical conclusion. 16 countries still recognize it as the only government of China (I hope when we Catalans become independent we do so too), most of the world maintain relationships via trade offices. The Soviet regime failed and Russia became a democracy. So will the PRC one.
