It is simply an emotional view point that people can not see behind. Like those who paid a crap load for college seem to be against eliminating college fees. My mother has been playing piano for years and she said she wouldnt pay for piano lesson since she could teach me herself we have a piano that gets regularly tuned but she is always busy taking care of my siblings after she had my second sister so she almost never see's me let alone having time for me my dad is pretty much the one taking care of me all the time but he works all day so I only ever see him at night and at that point he's tired and usually goes straight to bed im just looking for a free app that i can use i love piano so very much
Absolutely best introduction to Flowkey. But should have mentioned a 3rd negative, drawback of this app, that is, at slower tempo, tones are distorted, especially at 50% speed; notes sound awful. Why can’t Flowkey fix that, after all these years.
CTX700 has better sound, 6 track sequencer, better back lit screen, more registration and is $5 cheaper. PSR-E363 has better styles, is better well built, has an external app for sound editing features, and overall easier to use. Choose wisely😇
My e363 is on the way! Better interface and more fun to play is always important. I joined a better ecosystem. As a beginner, I don't need those ctx700 features. Once I am good enough for those features, ctx700 won't be good enough for the lack of other advanced features!
Hey Jeremy I have a big question, As u know that the PSR E 463 doesn't have professional output and the speakers are disabled when the output Jack is inserted. But what if I put an audio splitter, and then use one Jack for the pa systems mixer and the other through an aux wire put back in the aux in Jack of the keyboard, so will the keyboard speakers be on or no????

I'll try this one out, and I especially agree that having a "structure", or curriculum is needed for newbies! Now I have to ask this question, maybe you can help, regarding "ARRANGER keyboards". It sure makes sense to have the basics of piano playing as a starting point, but can you recommend any Courses, or even books, that explain HOW to play ARRANGER keyboards, such as a current model Yamaha? The techniques are quite different than "playing piano". There are so many features and options, for example, on Yamaha keyboards, that go way beyond what a piano can do. I have searched over and over again, and all I ever get are "PIANO lessons"! I just can't find any specific courses for Arrangers, not even from Yamaha! Even a book would help. Do you know, or recommend anything that thoroughly delves into the nuances of playing an Arranger? Thanks! Jerry

So does Flowkey not have MIDI sound just note recognition? It recognizes my notes but no sound - if that’s true then you can only use Flowkey with a piano that has audio in if you want to use headphones? (Unless I use a mixer)
Ask yourself always, does it have full sustain control. Pure piano is nice but you have only two choices, full sustain or no sustain. Besides that all kind of things like delay that you dont really need. If anyone knows a piano app with sustain control let me know...... even ravenscroft doesnt have it
