It amazes me how durable rubber tires are. That their molecular bonds can take that much deformation, heat, cold, abrasion, ect and still retain their shape just blows my mind.
Especially considering the relatively low cost!

There are very high strength steel wires woven throughout the rubber of tires (along with some other layers). A lot of engineering goes into making tires...
Rubber is pretty damn tough and the air helps, too because tires degrade a lot quicker if they aren't properly inflated.

Now don't quote me because I have no idea what I'm talking about. I believe that 1 of 2 things would have happened. Either the bacteria would have used up all the resources and died out, or the bacteria would act as if it were in a small separate ecosystem and would have a different evolution than is seen anywhere else. Again, I have no idea if what I am saying is reasonable, I do not know the lifespan of bacteria, but that is my guess.

It’s more of the fact that the water in those agates has been untouched for millions of years unlike ocean water which is constantly changing due to the flow and environment. It’s just the novelty of seeing something that was the same as it was millions of years ago.

Fun fact- when cats fall over because they’re wearing a vest or costume, their brains make them believe they can no longer move and cuts off their instincts, making them believe they’re practically cut in half. To get them used to a vest play with them to reactivate their instincts or just let them practice alone an hr a day. The playing one works faster and is usually better though.
