The UP Visayas in the video was just the city campus.. A much much larger campus can be found in Miagao, Iloilo. UPV Miagao campus is the main campus of UPV, around 40kms south of Iloilo City.
In front of San Agustin is NOT a prison but the HEADQUARTERS of the PNP in Iloilo City. The regional headquarters of the PNP naman is in Camp Delgado in the port area.

Sabi ng tourist guide yung Hiligaynon/Ilonggo is their dialect.. Its NOT a dualect, it's a full blown LANGUAGE.. another older LANGUAGE spoken in Iloilo is Kinaray-a. Also spoken in Antique and some parts of Capiz... LANGUAGES po sila and NOT merely dialect. Version of Hiligaynon spoken in Tigbauan, Iloilo are example of a dialect. Huwag maliitin ang salita sa mga lalawigan by calling them DIALECT.
HILIGAYNON is NOT a dialect. HILIGAYNON is a LANGUAGE. IT had more words in its vocabulary than Tagalog before Tagalog was chosen by the imperial National Language Institute as the national language, and then added new words including several Ilonggo words, in order to form the new Filipino language.
I think the "prison" anecdote and Ilollo Central Elem School "p__" anecdotes should be omitted. They're not funny and do not add to Iloilo's dignified image. I'm sure tourists come to ILOILO with no intention to listen to inane anecdotes.
With the Spanish Queen Regent Maria Cristina's Royal decree to bestow on Iloilo City and Manila the title "La Muy Leal y Noble Ciudad de Iloilo" (for ILOILO), ILOILO CITY and Manila became not colonial cities anymore but were already considered Spanish cities. ILOILO CITY therefore was not a colony but a city of Spain, especially because the Queen Regent Maria Cristina was enamored with Iloilo and its beauty and progress, and grandeur, and thus, Iloilo City became known as the original QUEEN CITY OF THE SOUTH, not Cebu.
