How did you get the helmet with the gopro mount on it?
@@badazandy hola Ill 🙋🏻♀️ the park has a good mixture of helmets with and without the mount attached to them. So if you can get to the park pretty early, you can just ask specifically for a helmet with a mount 😊 enjoy your time in Xplor 🇲🇽🙌🏼 Saludos desde PDC

Yes, Xcaret umbrella has a few parks and we are blessed that we have visited most of them, we new to hit 2 or 3 more to complete all of them 🤭🤭. We might say Xplor is our 2nd favourite 🤩🤩.

We had the stick and we used it for some activities, but definitely the zip-lines you CANNOT use it; for safety reasons. Hola Paris, thank you so much for watching, the park is pretty big so we'd recommend getting there as they open at 9am, so you can enjoy all the activities. We only got to the park at around 10am and missed out on one whole activity because we ran out of time. We went at the end of August and the park was not crowded at all as they can only operate at a 30-50% capacity. Sorry for the late reply. Thank you for watching we are glad you loved the video. Yes, actually when you are getting your Xplor wrist bands they will provide the helmets you kindly ask for one with the action camera (GoPro / DJI Osmo) mount. We are not sure if you need to reserve in advance just in case the park gets fully booked. but to be honest we just showed up and ask for the helmet with the mount and we just used it. We would suggest if by any chance you have the chest/wrist strap bring it with we used also these 2 accessories. Hope this info is helpful for you. Saludos amigo 🤗🇲🇽

90% of the video was shot on an action camera, and we used our mirror less camera right at the end. Action cameras are allowed but only with proper attachments and selfie sticks are prohibited 🚫 for safety reasons. Otherwise the park offers a photo package ☺️. What clip do you need to attached your go pro camera to the Xplor's helmets??
Hola Jav🙋🏻♀️ we had our action camera in its regular housing case you would get as a standard addition to any action camera you may purchase 😊 we also had the screw with us. The helmets have the actual clip that you will be able to mount your camera to, as long as you have a case and the screw you will be able to mount🙋🏻♀️ also just remember that Xplor does not allow you to take cameras/phones on the more extreme rides if it is not mounted to your body - so taking a chest strap may also be helpful 🙋🏻♀️ hope that helps! In regards of the park we totally recommend doing Xcaret park, it's a full-day park but we are highly recommend because showcase the best of Mexico and the Riviera Maya, we have visited once together (we haven't had chance to make a video on it but it's in our plans in the near future very soon 🤭🤭) if you decide to go stay until the night show: It is spectacular!!! 🎭
🤿Snorkeling, try Akumal it's about 15 minutes by Car from Playa del Carmen and you might have chance to swim with some turtles 🐢

No private or shared shuttle that we are aware of available in PDC. If your party is up to 4 people, perhaps a taxi would be a better option. We highly suggest agree with the price before you take the service.

Hola Jiboong🙋🏻♀️😃 oh my gosh, it was so much fun - definitely recommend 🙌🏼 the GoPro wasn’t too bad to carry around because we mostly had it on a chest mount and the helmet mount 😊 just keep in mind that selfie sticks are not allowed on the main zip line course, so we just used a wrist strap to capture those shots 🙌🏼 the photo pass is totally worth it - they take such great photos and you don’t have to worry about taking your own photos all day😊😊 the photo package is a little pricey, but sometimes the memories are worth it🙌🏼🇲🇽 hope you enjoy your time at Xplor 😃😃

Hola Chris😊🙋🏻♀️ there was one water zip line as a part of the whole zip line course, but there is also a very cool free standing zip line that splashes into the water😃 the zip line course is a huge chunk of the park but there were so many other attractions, that it’s still absolutely worth visiting even if you don’t do the zip lines 😃😃 the Xcaret group has another park called Xel-ha, which is a full on water park 💦 we haven’t been yet but we’ve heard it’s beautiful 😍🙌🏼 we hope you enjoy your trip😊😊

*Really?* We got to Mexico at the beginning of March 2020 and started travelling on June 2020 and there were restrictions but not as tight as other countries. 🤩🙌
Hi!! Can you show or explain how you arrived at xplor? Basically the transportation from playa!

Yes, we can briefly explain. Whenever you are located in PDC, we suggest taking a taxi to the supermarket Chedraui Centro. There is the van station that goes to Tulum and Cancun, take one which goes to Tulum and asked to be dropped Xcaret, you will see an underpass you have to walk to the other side of the highway (pretty safe) you will be getting at a Xcaret bus stop where a shuttle will take you to first Xenses, Xcaret and lastly Xplor. Alternatively you can asked to be dropped at Xplor but you will have to cross the highway, with all the precautions on your own.
We hope this info is clear and you guys are able to get there easy.

Thank you for watching, we use adapters for our action camera; which is the only way you are allowed to use if you want to bring your camera to the rides (holding them with your hands is prohibited). We use some of these accessories kit.co/ForTheRoadTravels/youtube-gear/zookki-action-camera
How did you guys record ? Do they provide cameras or what did you all record on?
Hola Amigos 🙋🏻♀️ we used our OSMO action camera (it’s similar to a GoPro)😊 you are not allowed to hold objects on most of the attractions, so we fastened our camera to a wrist strap and a chest strap 🙋🏻♀️ the park unfortunately does not provide any kind of camera gear for rental😊 hope you guys enjoy your time at Xplor - we loved it there🙌🏼 Saludos

I realise its been a few years now, but wondering if you can advise. We're older, 55 and 60 but still fairly fit, looking to take in one of the parks. Our budget only allows for one, so which to choose? Xplor at $143 or Xcaret basic at $121. Thanks.

Xcaret is amazing if it's your first time in the area, but if you opt-in for the basic, you will end up spending more, because you will have to get something to eat, and the park is a bit pricey, however, Xplor have the lunch included, and very light breakfast. In this case, we will suggest going for Xplor.

For the ziplining at the park I have a friend who is all about Heights and I'm not going to lie I'm not a big fan. But the further you went along on the zipline the higher they got. Once you start zip-lining you just have to keep going all the way through and you have to do them all or can you be like part through like you just don't want to do anymore ziplining like I want to tap out can I do that? And second I see you guys dip lining together pretty much. Can I do that with my friend like the whole time so I can just scream it out and she can give me the encouragement to go lol
Hahaha, it sounds like you two are going to have a fun time 😅🤩🙌 yes, so the zip lines definitely get higher and higher as you go along, but I promise, the views are totally worth it, you just see miles and miles of jungle 🌴🌴😍 once you start the zip line course, you kind of need to finish it, but I’m sure if you asked one of the employees for a for a way out if you really needed it, there must be a hidden path to get back to the other areas of the park 🙌 and yes, with the zip line course, we had the chance to do all of them in tandem if I’m not mistaken. So you’ll have your friend to comfort you along the way 🙌🤩 we hope you have a wonderful time - Xplor is one of our favorite things we’ve done in the region, it’s such a fun park ☺️ definitely get there early to make sure you get to see all the attractions 🙌
I have a question do they give you life jackets or is the water not that deep?
Hey D!☺️ They definitely do have life jackets available for you to wear if you'd like to 🙌 With the river splash, you end up in pretty shallow waters - I'm pretty our feet touched the floor, so you don't really have to swim ☺️☺️ If you're planning your trip to Xplor, we hope you have a wonderful time there 🙌 We'd highly recommend getting there as it opens because the park is just so big 🤩🇲🇽 Saludos desde PDC

@@ForTheRoadTravels Yes, planning to go in December. I wish I saw your videos on PDC and Akumal before I booked the non refundable hotel in Akumal, but I'm sure it will still be great. Once you've been to the Caribbean in the winter, you will always want to go back... like the birds that fly south for the winter :)

We are so sorry, we actually do not want to discourage people, from visiting some areas, sometimes is our own experience and we try to be as much transparent as we can. We do actually sometimes re-visit some places because we had not great experiences, but is not always like that. Perhaps your experience at Akumal is different. We would assume you guys live in either northern states in the US or Canada, aren't you?
@@ForTheRoadTravels I live in California, not that cold in the winter but we love going somewhere warmer during the winter. After watching your PDC video, I realized I don't have a plan B should it rain in Akumal. Obviously, there would be more things to do in PDC if it rains during our vacation. I like that your videos feel honest and not 'look how great everything is'. Thanks!
@@haiminh4263 Aaaaa we understand, definitely, something warmer is better, it happens all the way around to us we want something cooler because here in PDC gets very hot, but in winter the weather is so pleasant. Usually does not rain that much during winter, in fact, you get some light showers but nothing to be worried about. However, is mother nature and can change but based on the time we've been here winter is our preferred season. How far is this from Tulum?

How do you get from Playa del carmen to Xplor?

You could add the transportation when buying your tickets, nevertheless, you can take the vans from Chedraui Centro, the dispatcher will ask you your destination and you tell them Xplor and the van will drop you off at the Xcaret Bus station on the highway where you will find a map that will take you to the other side of the highway where a free shuttle will drop you at the park. 🫶🙌

Yes, she will be totally fine. In all the activities specially in the ones where water is involved; there are life guards. The depth I think is not deeper than 2 meters. Awesome you will love Cancun.
