I think being fit in general helps with longevity for any endeavor so why would gaming be any different? Thanks for bringing up the mental aspects of aim, it does feel like those don't get mentioned often when it seems like a huge thing in practice. I know if I'm tired even my warmups feel worse, especially if I'm looking at Aimlab scores. Speaking of which QOTD: A small Aimlabs playlist, then often times jumping into the practice range to work a little on counter strafing and recoil, then one to two DMs before ranked.
I'm starting to get convinced a large majority of this game is just keeping a clear mental when playing. Players get in their own head and lose themselves games too much.
A tip for less tilting is focus on your breathing for a bit and make sure you take some deep breaths. 4 seconds in, 4 seconds hold and 6 seconds out. Repeat it about 4 times and you find yourself more calm.

i dont entirely agree with saying 'gg go next" the way I like to think of it is, if your team mates are silver, they play like silvers, the enemy is also silvers, and also play like silvers. Focus solely on how well you can do, track your own kda, review yourself later (idk if val has a replay system) but focus on yourself, what you can control.
Personally, whenever I have down time, I watch valorant videos from people like Red, Grim, or Noted. I'm more of a visual learner, so watching someone do good helps me do good also.
I'm so glad you brought up that fatigue/tilt topic. I had days when I was just chilling out and I've hit huge ass killing streaks. The thing is, whether you "try" or not, it ultimately comes down to your positioning and your aiming skill. As well as reaction speeds and all that of course. If you can pull off precise shots without putting in effort, stick at that. Don't try pushing yourself. High risk may often equal high reward, but that's exactly what makes you inconsistent. Plus you'll tire out more. What you want to do is play it according to how the game is going. Be chill about it. Are you a defender? Hold angles. Gather some intel on where the enemies are, but don't actually RISK it unnecessarily. If you think the attackers are changing objectives, use that to your advantage. Get there quickly, and use your ultimate (e.g if ur viper or raze) to make them return to their original target, making them lose time. Are you an attacker? Don't push if you think it'll get your team killed. You can try playing for picks, but generally you want to choose the site where the enemies are either worse positioned, OR where there are less of them. The advantage that attackers often hold is that 50% of the time it can be a 5v2 temporarily, until the other defenders reach the site. Make use of that. Make good pushes. Some maps allow you to even make rather SAFE pushes with the use of agent abilities. It's more about just being a team over trying to carry all the weight. If you can command your team effectively (because you've studied up on a lot of common agents) then make use of that.
true story, watched this vid (level 21 iron jett main) hopped on no warmup and got mostly i taps and went 13 and 0 for my team and 26 and 6 for my kd thank you
my tips. 1) play deathmatch with vandal. 2) go to the range for like 30min before playing. 3) take a look at your sens. i went from 1.5 to 0.8 and i´m waaay more accurate
completely true. I used to have a DPI of 3000 and sens of 1.00. Now my DPI is 1000 (I had to veryyy slowly bring it down so I could still play valorant without being affected) and although I still feel it's too high, I can do so much more now. My target is 0.8 sens, 900dpi and I feel like it'll only keep getting better. A high sens/dpi is mostly good for those with surgeon-like hands, as shaking is gonna have a bigger impact.
I have just thought of a really good team I can make. It would consist of... 1.Jett with judge 2.omen with Vandal 3.sage with vandal 4.cypher with op 5.raze with phantom Also the Jett with judge would well..destroy LOL Also I play osu and death match to warm up
I don't care to practice, but if you are a big noob like my friend in silver. Start by not worrying about a spray. You should focus on a headshot and then adjust your bullets to spray or just tap fire. Don't aim for the body. Go straight for the head then adjust with spray. Higher ranks will be hitting headshots like there's no tomorrow so you need to know how to headshot if you wanna improve. I often see people in lower ranks just full on spray when they see someone and miss everything, but you look at radiants and they just tap the head then continue to spray. Yes they're accurate, but they also go head first then adjust if need be.
My routine is first i do i try to do most of the aim labs training for 30 min and then i go in range for 15 min for 1 tap and spray after that practing my main raze satchel and ult and then playing spike rush it take 1 hour and then i play for 2 hours competitive or unrated or custom with friends
bro careless in deathmatch. it’s broken, it’s ass. either u’ll spawn with no enemies around then when u take a turn they spawn, or they spawn u on walking enemies tapping u from behind. try to play some music and focus on pre-aiming enemies in an attacking perspective, watching your crosshair placement and winning your aim duels. most who top frag in dm care about winning rather than their mechanics. also top fraggers in dm kills enemies who are not in duel with them and basically just statpadding
mental reset: drink water, slowly stretch in your chair, get up and do anything from running in place to a set of pushups to literally throwing your limbs around. once you feel the blood flow, sit back down and bring your attention to your breath. notice how the air feels cool on the way in and warm on the way out. notice the top of your head. notice your left foot, your right foot, your left hand, and your right. then bring your attention back to the breath, draw all the air out of your lungs and take the deepest breath you've taken all day. most importantly, remember that you can still have fun while doing shit.
Tilting is the main reason im stuck on iron, i can win 3-5 games in a row with about 15-25 kills. After a bit i get too confident im gonna get to bronze, but end up loosing multiple games in a row from going to getting body shots and headshots to hitting legs.
damn I actually just realized that my inconsistency is because I tilt very quickly lol. I always get aces and many insane kills at the beginning of each match, but towards the end I can’t get any kills even if we win because I focus more on winning than getting kills so I die all the time
i have a bad problem of not aiming at the head. and while i have good aim i have terrible crosshair placement. do you have a video that you have made that would be best for my issue?
We have a couple of crosshair placement guides on the channel, but we actually have one super indepth one in the works right now, so stay tuned for that! Should be up in a weekish.

If you can command your team effectively (because you've studied up on a lot of common agents) then make use of that.
true story, watched this vid (level 21 iron jett main) hopped on no warmup and got mostly i taps and went 13 and 0 for my team and 26 and 6 for my kd
thank you
@@TechSupportDave i'm on 0.5 sens 800dpi now. Daaayum bruh i'm blowing heads up?
I have just thought of a really good team I can make. It would consist of...
1.Jett with judge
2.omen with Vandal
3.sage with vandal
4.cypher with op
5.raze with phantom
Also the Jett with judge would well..destroy LOL
Also I play osu and death match to warm up
2d game based on rhythm to warm up on a unpredictable 3d game?
@@Luis-jm2cc reaction and flick based
@@fwFaded no cause ur flicking ur cursor and u use rhythm to predoct where the circles are going to be on osu where as on val its unpredictable
After thousand of practise
Finally I get out from iron 1
QOTD aim lab to deathmatch to spike rush to unrated
Good timing. I was just getting tilted trying to learn sage wall tricks and in death match. Couldn’t land any headshots was getting hella upset
bro careless in deathmatch. it’s broken, it’s ass. either u’ll spawn with no enemies around then when u take a turn they spawn, or they spawn u on walking enemies tapping u from behind. try to play some music and focus on pre-aiming enemies in an attacking perspective, watching your crosshair placement and winning your aim duels. most who top frag in dm care about winning rather than their mechanics. also top fraggers in dm kills enemies who are not in duel with them and basically just statpadding
even tho im a bit late to the vid but I use the practice mode for aim and then i play one or two dms as my daily routine for aim training
this is actually a really great video, even if its 2 years old.
mental reset: drink water, slowly stretch in your chair, get up and do anything from running in place to a set of pushups to literally throwing your limbs around. once you feel the blood flow, sit back down and bring your attention to your breath. notice how the air feels cool on the way in and warm on the way out. notice the top of your head. notice your left foot, your right foot, your left hand, and your right. then bring your attention back to the breath, draw all the air out of your lungs and take the deepest breath you've taken all day. most importantly, remember that you can still have fun while doing shit.
Tilting is the main reason im stuck on iron, i can win 3-5 games in a row with about 15-25 kills. After a bit i get too confident im gonna get to bronze, but end up loosing multiple games in a row from going to getting body shots and headshots to hitting legs.
I use practice range and practice weapon spread
damn I actually just realized that my inconsistency is because I tilt very quickly lol. I always get aces and many insane kills at the beginning of each match, but towards the end I can’t get any kills even if we win because I focus more on winning than getting kills so I die all the time
that tilt thing i realized that it kinda happens with me
I have the opposite of tilt. I was bottom of my team one game, next game I got 2 aces and was on the top of my team by 11 kills
i have a bad problem of not aiming at the head. and while i have good aim i have terrible crosshair placement. do you have a video that you have made that would be best for my issue?
We have a couple of crosshair placement guides on the channel, but we actually have one super indepth one in the works right now, so stay tuned for that! Should be up in a weekish.
@@skillcappedvalorant really appreciate the response. i’ll make sure to check them out.
This method may help for me
yo the first point is so accurate hahahahahaha i tilt and really get triggered easily so the first point really helps me see it that way. Its just a game and We shouldnt care less. Thanks
Am going to do the full 1 hour your boy trying to make a name for himself.
"You may just need to stop losing your mind every time you play a game." - WHY? Why you have to do me like that. That hurts! smh
an honest tip is try to aim before you shoot or spray :)
my problem is that im panicking every game. even at buy time im still panicking that my neck turns stiff i fill like im having a stroke
the most important thing u should learn is don't get scared of losing when enemy comes to u just panic and fucs ur aim
Omg tytytyty so much
