    My goals for next 6 months:
    - sentiment analysis using BERT
    - forecasting with GRU, LSTM and TFT
    - learning basics of algorithmic trading
    These are essential for my master thesis :)
    if I have more time left, then I'll try to get a insight into recommendation systems

    Thanks, I was looking for project ideas. I'm glad that the advanced projects are for Computer Vision, it is my favorite Deep Learning area.

      Thanks Dennis! I still remember our first messages on Twitter back when we both had like 2k subs :) It's been a nice journey!

    First DL project i did for my uni class are conv autoencoders and how they can boost classifier performances by denoising the input images before using classifier. I used 3 data sets (cats vs dogs, cifar 10 and fmnist). For the next project that i want to do on summer (school stuff needs to be done before that tho) are GANs or implementation of some cnns like vgg (which is pretty easy) or resNets. Tbh idk would i ever do nlp because i am not that interested in it. Maybe i will do a simple project to feel it a lil bit.

      Awesome! Yeah personally I enjoy Computer Vision more than NLP, too...

    Do you have kernalized svm in your machine learning series? If not, kindly, do it! Your explanations always initiative and easy to understand by students.

    I’m really interested in hand writing recognition. But specifically “2D” inputs where it takes on to consideration how the characters are positioned.
    Thing maths, like x to the power of y. Or x squared x^y x^2. Or matrices which are like vectors have values along the x and y.
    ( 0 1 )
    ( 1 0 )
    Something like this, and having these raised to powers for like the Transpose of a matrix.
    What do you recommend for building NLP model capable of understanding also the position and many different symbols? Greek, alphabetical, etc

    • @rabomeister
      @rabomeister Год назад

      I guess the problem is the concept of the writing. You see, writing is actually a visualization of ideas. However, in computer, its not. So NLP works with computer texts, yet you are mentioning about identfying some visions. So, suggestion: Develop a object detection model that gives you a text from an image, then you can feed your NLP model with those texts.

    • @rabomeister
      @rabomeister Год назад

      Of course,both must be hard, so for portfolio, make one of them simple. Like use prior models for detection, but focus on your own NLP
