I've been wanting to play this game for a while, I got to download the it sometime before my old notebook broke but couldn't even get to the end of it :( I'm happy the game is now done
Although some of the translations are wacky, do you think they are mostly in character? I tend to not consume fan content since ooc stuff turns me really off
For the most part everyone's in character. Some characters are closer to their fanon versions e.g. Doppo's really depressed, Gentaro's got a thing for Dice, etc. I think Kuko's the only character who's personality feels off. But his cameo is short so it was easy for me to ignore.

what do i do to open it? run the ''setup''?
make sure you also download the RTP for RPG Maker 2000 (there's a link under about on the itch.io page for the game, you click that and then click the one for RPG Maker 2000 in the lower right). After that and the game is downloaded and the game's files are extracted you run "setup", then you go into the folders with all the map files, scroll down and click the RPG_RT file with the sword icon to launch the game.
