As a prevous owner of a Mavic 3 and now a Mavic 3 Pro, I think if they still keep the 24mm, 70mm, 166mm focal length camera config, I'd be very dissapointed. From a videographer's perspective, an at least 4/3 sensor OPTICAL zoomable 24-48mm main lens ( or a 24mm plus a 40'ish lens ) , and an improved quality ( like 1 inch ) 70mm sensor would be more than enough, and much more usable. Although it would seriously put Inspire 3 in danger competition wise...
I'd be very disappointed if they took your advice in using a 4/3 24-48mm and a 1in 70mm, From a videographer's perspective, I think the mavic 4 should be medium format, at least a 54mm wide sensor, preferably 4:3 for use with an anamorphic 9-200mm zoom lens with f0.95 aperture and double the flight time, shoots raw 8.4k at 400fps, would be more than enough and much more usable.
Gunna be an Air 4 or Air 3S I'd say. Looks almost the same aircraft frame as the Air 3 ... and the main camera looks smaller than the current Mavic 3 Pro so that would be a downgrade over the current M3P
Leakers said it’s the mavic 4, the Air 3S has already been leaked in the past few weeks and it looks the same as before This one is too big to be an Air 4, and it has the hasselblad camera with double zoom lens, it just doesn’t make sense to be an Air series drone
it looks nothing like an air 3 airframe, and that gimbal alone is entirely next level different, DJI will retain the air 3 airframe for the air 3s and upgrade the optics, as shown in a few leaked videos of it flying.
I'm hesitating... I want to start mapping right now. I'm about to purchase an M3E but I'd be really frustrated if they release an interesting upgrade with the M4 the week after...
Why don't they just use optical zoom lens? 1 big lens to cover all focal length. If the reason is low light performance, most drone flies in daylight though 🤔
It would require too much space and it would be too heavy, obviously it would be a lot better for shooting but on a compact foldable drone it’s not so convenient You need a drone like the inspire 3 or the Sony airpeak to have those lenses
There are literally 3 sensors pointing straight up, and another 3 sensors pointing straight down, yet non at the front or rear of the aircraft on any corner, no wonder its in such a damaged state whatever prototype it is. That gimbal is really weird but also looks pretty sturdy, definitely looks like it would be more sleek and aerodynamic by being pushed right into the body of the drone, perhaps more stable during camera movements, a very different design from previous DJI drones if this footage is genuine
I was also thinking about the sensors, but in my opinion the two parallel sensors at the top work as front ones, since they have almost 180º coverage, but also because of the angle the drone gets when flying forward, and the other one at the center works as the top sensor, so those two sensors could even work for the sides I’m not sure I’m just imagining, what do you think?
@@flyby_ Non of the mavic 3 front, side or backwards sensors go beyond 103 degrees in coverage individually, and even then they are positioned angular on all 4 corners with extra sensors top and bottom, this configuration makes no sense and is extremely ugly. By that logic they don't need the 3rd sensor on top because of the placement of the other 2 sensors, and the same applies to all 3 sensors below as well. it makes no sense to equip the drone with exactly the same amount of sensors only to put them in such a weird layout, i mean the Air 2 S had werid angular upward sensors, so logic would say a design closer to that if you want angular coverage
@jasonlee4267 I think that we might not understand everything because it’s a crashed unit and some pieces might be lost However I agree that it wouldn’t make sense to have a third sensor at the top Another thing I thought was that there could be sensors integrated in the arms of the drone, but looking at the leaked images they don’t seem to be there We’ll see… I’ll post the new leaks when they’ll come out
@@flyby_ for sure, this is just a prototype, and if it is a mavic 4 its going to be an upgrade with everything better, but perhaps they are just testing optimal sensor positions,, the final unit will look nothing like this I suspect, but will have taken heavy inspiration from this testing unit. my wallet is twitching already regardless, looking forward to seeing what you share next 🙂
Looks like a 1x 1 inch main camera, 2x 1.13 camera. I hope they wont use the same sensor as in air 2s, because its a 9 years old sensor. The new AIR 3 has a stacked sensor, wich has even better low light than 2s. If this one has a brand new ( wich i hope seeing hasselblad logo ), than this will be very good. Also please be higher resolution than 4k! At least 5k above. The image on air3 looks blurry compared to older versions...
Nothing for now… only the previous images I shared I think the leakers will be focusing more on the mavic 4 now though, I’ll still post updates if I have them
1.25 main plus .75 stacked three times zoom, plus. 75 seven times zoom. Nice. Fat men with neibour fetishes gonna love this drone. Maybe videographers too.
Not sure about that, there aren’t many informations, I’m still not understanding why Dji is apparently making a new model which seems to be the same as before, not even a year after the last model I’ll keep you updated with all the leaks but in my opinion it could even be fake
I have updates for the release date, unfortunately according to new reports this drone is in an early testing phase, so it should be released in the end of 2024 or even in 2025, I considered the usual time it takes for leaked drone to release, but looks like this one is not ready yet Anyway, I’ll keep you updated if there are new leaks
Hello, it really looks fake to me, if you look at the magic 3 pro gimbal you will see the brand Hasseblad written inverse, by the way the bottom of your so called magic 4 is some kind of silver plasticand none of Dji drone has this colour and the entire drone materials look really cheap.
It’s a test unit, and the hasselblad is reversed because the camera will be mounted flipped It doesn’t seem fake to me, the source of the video is reliable
I agree. The placement of the sensor cameras and the lenses on those cameras look completely wrong. This looks more like it's reverse engineered. The housing on the gimbal looks like it's of a more heavy duty military grade drone. It seems really suss.

Price drop for the 3T when the 4T comes out..? 😍❤️

Im just waiting for the day we get a Nikon P1000. Nothing like zooming in at 125x zoom.

look like an early prototype of the mavic 3 pro
Mavic 3 pro? It’s completely different from that
@@flyby_ don't most prototypes look different from their production models...? The video itself says it looks like the same cameras as a mavic 3 pro

The Mavic 3 has a 4/3 inch sensor which is LARGER than 1 inch so 1 inch would be a downgrade!
looks quite bulky to be honest, hope they make more refined design
It's just a prototype you know, it's not the final look
The gimbal look like it was from military predator drone
Does it come in kit form as it's seems to be in bits here.
Well, the leaker/tester destroyed it so I’m sure it will come in one piece 😅
Anything about Air 3s?
Nothing for now… only the previous images I shared

53 minutez flight time❤😂😂
Is there any leak about when the Inspire 4 will be released, or when do you think it will come out?
What’s your bet for the release of this beast?
I think it’s possible from mid/late August to September
@@flyby_ that early? What about the DJI Air 3s? They say it will be August as well

It’s not me, I wouldn’t treat it like that 😅
it's just prototype
🤔 3 sensors at the top
Two are for front obstacle avoidance and one is for upper coverage in my opinion

It’s because it will be mounted literally in the head the drone
