It might say big black when you google the lyrics it but it's not what Steve Earle sings. Listen to it. A black and white cop car with a coat primer is not black. A Dodge cop car in the late 50's through 70's would have come with nothing short of a B or RB aka big block. They're building a moon shine car here and need to have many inches as possible.
