- I made 100 Barbarians invade the lands of 100 Villagers. There are also psychopaths, farmers, and wizards. Who will win this epic battle?

In this Minecraft civilization event, I had 100 villagers start in a town called Northwinde. I also had 100 barbarians start at a military base called Fort Greymund. Throughout this massive world, there were also 30+ characters to help add to the lore of the world itself! Whatever happens in this event video, will determine the future of a massive, and fully connected, storyline!

Incredible how murderous psychopaths that killed some villagers actually got redemption arcs and were the reason the villagers won the Battle for Mammoth's Crossing with the wolf army.

Honestly just based on how the villagers were acting, I think they didn't get a redemption arc
The freezing water twist is nice. It makes the simulation more challenging and unique.
So happy to see my dog army was the determining factor of the villager bridge win! My name at the end was Nash_Berrye if you were wondering.

Barbarians: are willing to speak and let considerably outnumbered openents, keep prisoners in nice open areas and the leader said he would punish anyone who disrespected the prisoners, when a group of psychopaths appear and they learn of it they prepare a force to put an end to to the murderers,didn't attack the bridge until one of their own was murdered.
Used no dirty trick and fought head to head honorable
Villagers: When seeing they outnumber an enemy, they force them to surrender and attempt to take prisoners, prisoners are kept in a small one block prison in the middle of town where they are mocked,uses dirty tricks to ensure their victory accept psychopaths into their home who have murdered indiscriminately to aid them in battle killed a warrior who was unable to fight back and started a conflict and proceeded to attack fleeing enemies.
Roles were definetly reversed im this one
And then the gods looked down angrily at the villagers for their blood lust warmongering and the genocide of the barbarians. And then cursed the villagers with famine and drought. The villagers will never again know prosperity for their evil actions against a people who showed no hostility at the start.
The villagers will always be regretful knowing their misery is of their own making.
Great job with the design aesthetic of the nameplates and shader choice, gives MCCI vibes. Also having factions 2:42 outside of the main two with niche roles is such a interesting idea.

I remember just exploring the area and the biggest smile crept onto my face- Honestly one of the funnest roles it was so unique from the others-
It was certainly fun scaring the bajesus out of the folks invading our home.

I spawned as a barbarian, fought like a knight and I died as a warrior. I was one of the first guys after the suicide bomber to rush them instead of standing behind a wall with a bow. The people that retreated didn’t deserve to be a barbarian 🫡😤
I expect the Barbarians were the villains and the Villagers were good but it was the opposite.

But, at the same time the villagers made a mistake the only reason they were united is because of the Barbarians but, because the Barbarians are not there anymore the enemy is themselves.
Kinda want that ex-barbarian leader make either a mercenary guild or an assassin creed.
i actually felt kinda bad as i was hearing the last of barbarians screaming we surrender and i realised that thats how things turned out irl too
brings to mind that quote. "War doesnt determine who's right, only who's left"

Been watching civilization experiments all day THIS was the first one that truly had me hooked! I've got to say the mechanics with the bridge being the only passing point was an absolutely genius idea as it forced conflict but not in the usual way, also just adding in little bits of lore to the world made it feel so unbelievably lively compared to other civilization videos I watched today. I've got to say I love the way the dogs got freaking angry from the snowballs LMAO amazing that the psychopaths were the turning point in the battle. The only thing I would say is I would have liked to see a little bit more of gum rock but defiantly a 10 out of 10.

Yeah, the limits on block breaking and resources (diamonds and netherite) made this much better than most civilization videos. I really don't like how everyone is always giga stacked after the first 10 minutes lol.
The players in this one had to actually think outside the box a bit.
Absolutely why we went with those changes. Other changes included limiting block placing and slowed block breaking speed during main battles. That made walls extremely functional.

Love how the villagers were more cruel and barbaric than the actual barbarians. The barbarians just wanted a better life and the villagers were openly hostile from the very start lol.
The only time the barbarians went on the offensive was literally right after a traitor hired by the villagers burned their home down. The villagers were even more barbaric when they murdered surrendering barbarians in cold blood.
The barbarians showed honer and mercy while the villagers were showed no mercy and were honorless. So really who are the real barbarians here.
I enjoyed this event very much! Cant wait to participate in the next one! :D

Another part of the event I loved was just the general chats everyone was so nice- Then I proceeded to start an egg pun war in general against mackflurp then me and J killed him in the event- then his head got taken by his team and then I got it back at the end-
