- Top-Selling Cars in India - September 2024 🚗
Maruti Suzuki’s Ertiga has taken the crown as the best-selling car in India for September 2024, with an impressive 17,441 units sold! This MPV outpaced the Swift, which came in second. The Ertiga has been consistently performing well, also securing the second spot in August 2024. Notably, it recorded the highest year-on-year growth among the top 10 models.
Hyundai’s Creta emerged as the best-selling SUV and ranked third overall for September 2024. It maintained a clear lead over competitors like the Grand Vitara and Seltos, even outselling the sub-4m SUV models. Maruti’s Brezza followed closely in fourth place, with 15,322 units sold.
Tata’s Punch was the eighth best-selling car in India for September 2024. It was the only Tata model in the top 10, while sales of the Nexon have seen a significant drop. This decline is attributed to the underperformance of EV models and high stock levels at dealerships.

Amit Sir with your due respect the built quality is fine but after sales service service matters the most.
Accidents may happen or may not happen so built quality comes under ifs and buts. But after sales support quality is unavoidable.
Tata's built quality is no doubt good but the after sales service suck blood from customers body.
Hence Maruti always tops the chart.

Eeco should not include in this list , it's commercial vehicle . In my state Gujarat eeco used for travel taxi purpose with private number plate and registration. And in Gujarat cng pump are widely available thats why eeco and ertiga are first choice for those taxi services .
This is not in only in private, ambulance, logistics supply, courier service, school van... Too many uses
But we don't know how many people are buying for what?
Similarly 2 type of thar, scorpioN, Bolero, innova are also in market.

According to FADA, inventory stock is at 7.9 lakhs now compared to 7.8 lakhs last month.
Fada don't have data of all dealers, as not all dealers are not in group....
Another thing people don't register car in tear3 long similar politicians don't register...these numbers are huge as most dealers want to pressurize brand by throwing huge number...

Tata should really work on design of their cars if they want to be in competition. Look at Mahindra's launches in last 3 years. Xuv 700/Thar/ xuv 3xo/ Thar roxx. Exactly what Indian people need. Pure SUV design. On the other hand,look what they have made of nexon after facelift. It looks more like hatchback then SUV. Curve me bhi coupe coupe bol ke ullu hi banaya he. Safari ka bhi majak bana diya he. Harrier ki design thik he lekin wo bahut expensive kar di he.Except punch, all design is failed.

6:25 You said about build quality for Maruti Suzuki but what about After sale service of TATA. TATA has the worst sale service. They didn't care about customer. Maruti has the one of the best after sale service and also Maruti produced most reliable car in indian car market.
Reasons ये भी हो सकता है कि लोगों को कम प्राइस में maruti बहुत कुछ दे देती है, और maruti की पेट्रोल इंजन mileage भी दे देती है, जबकि अचानक एक्सीडेंट में safe है नहीं वह । टाटा की गाड़ी महंगी आती है मारुति के मुकाबले और mileage भी कम देता है पेट्रोल इंजन...diesel में जाओ तो महँगा है...anyway मेरी तो गाड़ी Nexon fearless plus है(Diesel ) 120km/h चलता हूँ...मजा आ जाता है..mileage भी 20 दे देता है.
किसने कहा maruti Suzuki सस्ती बेच देती है? लोगों को सही idea ही नहीं है, engine, gearbox,Suspension, low repair cost, fuel efficiency भी देती है, Brezza, across, Grand vitara safe भी हैं...
Brezza non sponsored 4 star crash test rating आयी थी... Sponsored नहीं बाकी की तरह..
लोग 3 poor crash test rating की वजह से पूरी company को बुरा बोलते हैं, जबकि 3-4 cars तो mahindra की भी poor crash test में आयी थी...उनको कोई नहीं बोलता..सच लोग पूरा नहीं बोलते और अपनी सहूलियत से बोलते हैं.

Home electricity bill is nearly ₹4 to ₹8 per unit depends area you are living. In this cost you mostly got less than a rupee in small cars like comet, punch and windsor, little bit more in nexon, ZS EV, curvv, xuv400..
But if you charge on highway is cost ₹24-30 per unit...cost will increase by ₹3 per kilometer and more.

Less costly spare parts, availability of parts, less labour charge are from Maruti
Hyundai bit costly parts, labour charge and takes bit more time to repair,
Tata desh ka loha all costs are similar as hyundai
Mahindra is top in terms of cost
About the quality of work all are same no customer satisfaction for example if your car painted in these companies service centers
Just in few weeks or months colour mismatch is common in all. About fit and finish a accidental veh is same
Jam ke bill banate hai insurance company ka or kaam third grade i am taking about all above mentioned companies.
