If your controller blinks 1 once or 2 twice turn it on after the 2 blinks unplug your xbox while its on and it works

If new batteries and firmware doesnt fix your issue, take a look at the positive terminals for the batteries (they'll be on the left side while looking at the back of the controller). If the batteries do not make a solid connection, then it wont work. The terminals could be bent or maybe the controller was already dismantled and when put back together the terminals are on the other side of the plastic. This happened to me recently. 😄 Bent the terminals slightly toward the battery compartment and it fixed the problem. Controller works great.
I’m a little late and my Xbox controller just doesn’t turn on I had problems with it before such as my home button getting stuck but I just randomly woke up and it won’t even flash I’m just curious with what u mean by terminals if you can elaborate

My controller would blink for two seconds then turn off if yours does the same please unplug your console an plug it back in maybe it should work again

Good tips. I was able to hard reset ( press and hold the power button on the xbox for a few seconds, then turn it back on.) It fixed the problem.

I bought a Xbox one charging dock for my controllers. The charging dock messed up and my batteries starting getting really hot. I took charging dock back to gamestop and exchanged it for a new one. They said charging dock was defective. Came home and put new batteries and put it back on the charging dock. But my problem is, is that my controllers will not cut on. Im worried that the defective charging dock messed up my controllers.

Just found a fixed.. shut off the console and unplug it. Leave it for about a min. After you plug it in again. It worked

I have a battery pack that charges. Last night it was working perfectly and it is charged. But today I put it in and it did not work. I have two other controllers and I put it in them and that did not work. And then I checked if it was charged and it was. It’s not blinking or anything. I have another battery pack that charges and it did not work for them either I really need help

When I plug in with a USB, the controller turns on, but it says it is connected via bluetooth, and wont let me update. I unplug and it works, but when I try to use the pairing button to connect my controller to a different device, it shuts off completely instead of going into pairing mode. The only way to fix it is to plug it in USB and unplug it again, and after that it works fine wirelessly until I press the pairing button. What the hell is going on?

The problem with Xbox battery’s is that it is battery’s so that means battery corotion and sadly my Xbox controller got hit and I think it’s fried ama make a video to show the problem
