Hey Helen, I was trying to comment on your last rogaine video but the comments were closed. I'm a cancer survivor like u in premature menopause since the age of 36 (40 now) I was wondering apart from the hair loss did u experience any other dermatological symptoms like dry skin, premature aging (I don't think u have u look great) I don't want to do hormones either as I'm sure u dont being a BC survivor, how has Ur skin held up since?
@@toogoodforyou359 Thanks for telling me that, I didn't even know they flipped off again. It's not me in this case, RUclips keeps shutting them down the one time I actually want lots of comments! Typical, haha. I turned them back on. To answer your question, YES, I went from adult acne to very little acne, my skin got dry for the first time in my life and if I'm very honest, I am aging faster than I would with more hormones in my system, like more sagging than I think my other female relatives have at my age. What I think does help though is I'm enormously committed to daily exercise! It's great for my pores, my cell turnover and just overall health. Does this help? Sending a hug to a fellow survivor, I'm sorry you had to go through this.
@@toogoodforyou359 Oh, also, I'm experimenting with adapalene (Differin) and that seems to be helping. Full video review sometime in the future when I feel confident about whether it's been good or not!
@@HelenAvery Hey! Thank you very much for the reply, yea I was wondering where the comment section vanished because I could see it last time. Yea exercise is the only thing that keeps me sane tbh! It is so so necessary for menopausal women esp those who went into premature menopause, if u don't mind my asking how old were u at diagnosis and how old are u now? U look good for age don't worry about it but do u think the sagging could possibly be caused by the Minoxidil- it DID cause a lot of facial sag for me which sucks because it really worked well :'( I so wish the aging thing was a myth but sadly it does happen to some which is so weird
@@toogoodforyou359 no problem I was 39 at diagnoses and 47 now. Minoxidil…I’d say not the biggest contributor but who knows? I’m more inclined to think it’s that I went into menopause 10 years early, but thank you for all the kind words! Cameras help, they smooth the face 😂
I love this product! I use it all the time! It works perfectly for my hair. I have curly hair. It makes my hair so soft, smooth & frizz free. Great detangler & it also great when I blow my hair out when I straighten it. The smell is great.
I keep repurchasing it...I love the scent! But it doesn't seem to do that much in my hair, which in fairness seems resistant to all conditioners! Thanks for leaving a comment! It's great to find a hair holy grail, sounds like this is yours ;)
I go back to this product for the scent, I actually hated it years ago when Ouai first came out on the market, but tried it again in some samples and love it now. My fiancée loves the smell and a couple of friends asked me what perfume I’m wearing but it was just my hair products. Also, I actually use Ouai fine hair conditioner as a leave in too when air drying my hair , it’s much cheaper to do that. It’s a different scent (Merced street) so just make sure you like the scent I don’t like the scent of Pureology, Drybar and not even Moroccan oil scent(which is super popular for the scent). And I don’t use drugstore products either because I don’t like the scents.
Great tip! I bet you and I have similar taste in scents because I won't use Moroccanoil for the same reason! Thanks so much for chiming in, this is a thoughtful take on the product :)
I'm thinking I could take my Pantene leave in conditioner, add some water and put it in a spray bottle which would be an easier application method to dispense it evenly and without adding to much and weighing my hair down.
Let us know if that works! I suspect though it might be clumpy...on a related note this is what I do with Dawn dishsoap, I dilute it in a spray bottle and spray my dishes! One bottle lasts a year that way ;)
Can men apply this I just bought it due to my city has really hard water my hair tend to get dry and break a lot and I saw they don’t use any harsh chemicals in it so trying to giving it a try and can I use it everyday because I rinse out my hair everyday with water and shampoo twice a week please do respond 😊
Hi! Yes to all! suitable for guys, not too "girly" smelling, great for short hair and it's light enough to use daily! Good luck, let us know if you like it!
Hi, it doesn't really help that much, it smooths it out a bit but it's not a miracle cure or anything. You might have better luck with K18 hair mask, I made a video with that one as well.
So sad to hear this Ouai product doesn't have the qualities one needs for a leave-in conditioner and is instead more of a detangler/hair perfume. I find the Purology colour fanatic too heavy for my fine, thin, damaged hair and was hoping this would be a solution. Do you have any other suggestions, preferably from at Sephora so I can use my points? Also, would love an update on k18. Are you still using and did you apply for the 4-6 consecutive times they recommend before using as a maintenance product? And, have you tried the k18 shampoo / conditioner?(Sorry for so many questions . . . really enjoy your videos!🙂)
If only they'd change the label it would be perfect! Then we'd know what to expect. I don't have any other suggestions for Sephora as leave-ins but maybe someone else will see this and drop us a recommendation. K18, I used it a few times but never got back to the softness it gave me the first use. I'll try it again maybe in the summer, perhaps I used it too many times in a row, I'm not sure. Not too many questions at all, happy to help and thank you for watching. I appreciate you!
Omg! So true. I got a sample with shampoo and perfume. I didn’t care for the shampoo but of course I fell in love with this! It went to work on my tangles. Of course I used half the bottle! I usually just use the Dove hair therapy as a leave in for tangles but this was amazing especially with my Covid shed. The price not so much. I recently got the Tresemme hair tonic and it does just as good. Smells nice too!
Yes! That's the exact set that I got too! Do you remember what the perfume was? Melrose place? Whatever it was I didn't like it, lol! Great product mentions too, I don't know the drugstore products that well so I'm glad you chimed in!
@@HelenAvery Yea Melrose place! My friend got the package with the body wash so I gave her the shampoo and she gave me the body wash. The perfume smells good on my clothes but I don’t care for it on my skin. I do like the body wash it has a more subtle smell!
Agree! The scent itself can be purchased, according to Ulta: go.shopmy.us/p-3870327 I don't think I remembered to mention that. Thanks fro dropping a comment, I appreciate you!

you aren't kidding about the smell....it's amazing!
Right? It's incredible for a hair product, the scents are usually so meh!
