Almost two years after publication, and not a single comment??? Okay. I have to admit, I haven't exactly been the most stalwart fan of Gary, but I was a fan of 'Cars' and 'Metal' when they were first released. Sadly, after these two hits Gary kind of disappeared from the United States. I did not realize until very recently that HE'S BEEN MAKING MUSIC AND TOURING THIS WHOLE TIME! WTF? How, why was the US not in on this? Decades later, I happen upon the live video of Gary with Trent doing 'Cars' and 'Metal' in Germany. It got me all riled up and interested in Gary, wondering where he's been all this time. Suddenly, there's a treasure trove of new (TO ME) music videos, and I am just enthralled. Fixated. Obsessed. Suffice it to say that I am SO glad that I have been re-introduced to all that is Gary Numan. Aspberger's or no, he still crushes it, every time.

Gary Numan is such a cool guy. He doesn't have a huge ego and is a real artist. That's reflected in his music. I love the new song he just came out with, "My Name is Ruin."

yes, and as David Byrne has expressed so well, his Asperger's may fluctuate over his life; D. Byrne says his has largely diminished. I'm sure your nephew will do great things.
