As someone who has been in the trades( construction>welding>mechanic>back to welding) dirty truck/tool box=busy hands, spotless truck/toolbox idle hands. Your work will speak for you yes cleanliness does matter but I run a tub rig for the reason of at the end of a 14 hour day I can throw all of my stuff in the back of the bed when I roll up for the day and not have to work that something isn’t in its exact home in a box that if it isn’t they won’t close right(how my old rig was). Never had anyone say anything about the shape of my truck or box except people making comments to make themselves feel better because I prefer old rigs
I’m a rig welder and oilfield mechanic try to stay on top of it bud i do it and do it for all our well service rigs I run a 2500 single wheel gasser and I’m right at 12000 maybe try a utility box for all the tools
Texas style rig . Don't see them in Canada . reason snow . Top loading tool boxes can turn into a night mare especially if you as the welder are not putting your tools in them(helper) . Side doors and draws. young fellow your welding is something to be desired when in busts out like that . lack of fusion big time . you don't need to weld the underside on a corner like that if it was fit and welded right . take out the back seat and put a set of tool boxes in it . as it looks no one can sit in the back anyway . I done that with a 96 duel wheel dodge club cab . truck had a skid unit in back .4 pins to hold in place and ball hitch on the back to haul trailers . That mess you call a rig ----- yeah right . Get your shit together be a tradesmen . That weld on your fender shows your welding ability as a bronc. Do it right the first time it is cheaper in the end . the excuse no time =Bronc
I like this design. I’ll be building a new rig soon and I think I’m going to copy a lot of your ideas. I need a better way to store rods though. I work in hospitals and they don’t mess around. The rods need to be new or fresh out of an oven.
Please clean and organize the truck. It’s painful to watch. I run weld rigs too, I get how busy you are but you have to make it a priority. Its your 8 ton business card. 😂. If you’re struggling with organizing 1 truck, what will happen on the job I want to hire you for?
That truck is a damn mess inside and out. Why did you feel the need to share with others? Before you shoot a video at least throw out the damn garbage.
Because I took a poll on Instagram to see who would wanna see what it’s REALLY like to work 120 hours a week, or just a fake and and cleaned up truck which isn’t ever likely to be.
I work 84 to 91 hours a week on oil refinery turnarounds and my truck would never be that bad. Never. 120 hours a week? Bullshit. Set that thing on fire and be done with it.
Keep in mind your truck shows your work ethic cleanliness and a first impression
That’s why I reset every week, and building a new bed
Yeah but your work speaks for itself. This is a real working man’s truck.

12,870 at the scale this week
Cooking on the road. I've seen plenty of rigs with a small grill bolted to the bed. Even good restaurant food starts to get old when on the road.
I dig it, my setup on the inside would be the same 👍🏽
Bronc = not a tradesmen yet either

I’m changing to the Canada style for these reasons!
Damn rig welding seems a little difficult but no one said it would be easy
What’s easy isn’t worth it. 💪

Is there website etc where you bid on jobs or are able to see what jobs are available? Thanks in advance
So I want to go into the pipe fitters, would I need my own rig or not?
No pipe fitters don’t need a rig.
I think a straight job box bed is the way to go
Tbh the rusty bed looks cool.
You are a pretty cool guy
What is better the 4 1/2 small grinder or the long handle
4.5”!
Looks like you need a mechanics service truck with all the stuff you got bud.
Working on it
Cool
You ever run into issues with the oxy/ acetylene lock caps? I know some say fine thread and some course.
I personally haven’t had any issues with them!

Showing the public this mess is a sure way not to get work . shows he can't engineer and can't weld
Are you selling your pipeline bed??
It’s already sold man
Is that a HO Cummins?
Also sweet video! Looking forward to more.
I think it’s an HO, the window sticker didn’t specify , and it has the Aisin so I’m guessing it is lol.
Clean those tools and wipe them down with Penetrol. Keeps them from rusting
What a wreck. And a welder showing up with non penetrated welds on 3/16 steel is a bad first impression… nice truck tho
110v flux core machine was used to build it, haven’t had anything that was being built for inspection bust tho 🤷🏼♂️
Damn Brah, your truck is a mess. Build a new bed and organize those tools!
Lol end of the video shows it cleaned out but yea new material already delivered
@@WolfofWeldSteet Cool, I'm building a new bed. I got a short video if you want might give some ideas.
