Well, knowing what we make them, Susie and Noelle do without using Iceshock only, Kris has every right to rip us and just shatter us to pieces. I never had the guts to do Genocide in Undertale nor do Snowgrave on Deltarune. (Only did it because of Spamton NEO fight being pretty interesting there) and I doubt I will ever follow that path in this fangame either.

We're petty much controlling them like a puppet to have our fun and make friends with people Kris probably fucking hates, all out of a sense of boredom. So yeah, Kris should hate us, and I hope deltarune ends with Kris shattering our souls regardless of what we did, or even if we killed. We don't deserve to control them even if we did act all nice and kind.

Interesting, so the Game Over text from Noelle implies that if the soul shatters Kris instantly dies, but as long as it doesn’t Kris can still live but is just severely weakened. So theoretically, Kris can live without us, just in a very weak state. Very, very interesting.

Emmm.... not really, but it depends on the player who is using In Frisk's route, Kris is completely normal and fine, since we only control Frisk's soul and only focus on his. For something in every opportunity of the genocidal route that he has, he removes his soul or looks for a way to end it, so that he obtains the freedom that he so desires.

I just admire the way Kris just nopes out the player by punishing them with their own medicine, and there's TWICE OF THAT! It purposely ruins the Power Fantasy of any edgelord and shows them that Kris knows what you did, what you all did, and won't forgive any players who are pulling it out again. I mean, in Section 1, Kris stabs you like the player who stabbed and killed so many monsters, while in Section 2, Kris asks directly Noelle to freeze and yeet you like the player who manipulated Noelle to freeze everyone.

Its clear he hates being controlled so if he could go without us then he wouldnt put the soul back. I have a theory it might be something about what gaster said in the start about having a connection or linking ourselves with kris as our vessel. Ever since we were linked with him he needs us to live, so before we used him as a vessel he had a individual life without us and the reason kris is acting so weird according to everybody is that suddenly we used him as a vessel and since we linked with him he needs us now even though he previously didnt

It won't do anything I think, when you hit the blue people they just run away like crazy like deltarune, you can kill them in the weird route because you are tecnically out for blood there.

SOULs seem to be what allows one to empathize, to feel actual emotion (instead of approximations) beyond basic survival instincts. Without DT though? You would be basically braindead. Heck, we know second hand what late stage DT deprivation is like for Chara! Imagine expending even more to move yourself. Yeah, Kris can't live Without DT, and they only have residual amounts after removing their SOUL (think surviving in a desert with just the condensation outside a plastic bottle) while Flowey has an INDUSTRIAL amount of it from the injections (think same scenario with a gallon jug of water, or more). I hope that clears it up and sorry for being inefficient with my explanation! EDIT: I hope that comment deletion means yes :(
i can imagine a scene where the soul is left shattered, with gaster picking it up and summoning the start screen where you choose your vessel for the soul. we are then resurrected as the vessel we chose, and we use that body until we get to kris, then afterwards, we fight them.

the genocide route in this game is more heartbreaking than eerie, yeah the enemies literally bleeding out to death in sect 2 is creepy but the moments where kris called for help by saying "I can't control myself" which lead to confusion, to the two times where they stabbed the soul when you admit you killed monsters in the ruins, to them begging noelle to freeze it and throw it far away, knowing that once destroyed, they'll die, but it stops you from continuing your slaughter, even though when you can come back from death still having them as your puppet is just sad seeing how they try to detach from you, but you always come back no matter what

You can also make them spareable during the fight and spare them, but if you attack paula in that moment Ness will jump in front of Paula and block the hit. Ness will die from the hit and then the 2º phase occurs with Paula attacking you like normal, so nothing special, you just can't do It.
