As a woman. The idea Mahdi has about women and women being clingy if you don’t show they u need them is very very odd. Women love to be loved and needed

This mentality doesn’t sit well with mature Muslim men, mehdis mentality sits well with the confused youth who want control without having a strong Muslim persona.

This is not mehdis mentality but what Allah SWT has defined for Muslim men. A Muslim Man with multiple wives is the one with the strong persona not the monogamous man. What you're meant to say is this doesn't sit well with Muslim women and it's not suppose to.

Mahdi says it’s the current wife’s decision wether she stays or leaves. His approach to a wife is very cold and doesn’t leave room for intimate support or growth in a relationship which shows a lot about his upbringing. Like or lump it type of attitude. But that’s not how marriage should be approached. It’s not something so light. This guy needs to be careful

The better way to apply some of this knowledge of how relationships are navigated is when you don't disclose them. Remain mysterious, the effectiveness goes down when it's known that you're applying them. But Mahdi is like one of the people spreading it so... going down for it i guess.

  • @buyop9441
    @buyop9441 7 месяцев назад +8

I am NOT a fan of MAHDI in any way, shape or form but he managed to come across well in parts on the interview which is actually rare for him.
I’ve been itching to write a comment throughout this but thought it not worth it. However, as he’s talking about domestic abuse (NOT domestic violence), I feel it necessary to dispel some of the incorrect things he had said.
Firstly, only people who have experience of dealing with/working with or are even victims of domestic abuse should speak publicly on such issues.
Secondly, it is COMPLETELY wrong that as he said, “Men don’t tend to abuse with their tongues, verbally.” That, I’m sorry. is nonsense!
All domestic abuse studies show that psychological abuse stands alongside ALL domestic abuse. A man can’t just come home, hit his wife, say nothing and continue in that pattern. No woman would tolerate that.
Men’s verbal abuse is often on the form of gaslighting, manipulation, put downs, sometimes screaming and shouting etc. Male abusers do abuse verbally but not in the overt way a woman may do.
Mahdi has to be really careful on this, lest he allow sisters to mistakenly stay in dangerous situations while telling themselves that men don’t abuse verbally so he can’t be an abuser.
Some of the worse cases of domestic abuse involve men who have never placed a hand on their wives because the psychological abuse, manipulation and belittling etc., has the woman in a psychological headlock.

The natural fitra of women why it is being described by men. There are already too many broken muslim families, where the man are going for second marriage, and the young children from first marriage are now living without father. So muslim men now really have to make a choice if they want to full fill their sexual needs or they want to provide a safe and healthy place to their children

When I saw Mahdi was on this podcast, I was ready to get angry at his views as I’ve seen before on tiktok and other platforms. However, quite shockingly I liked the way he articulated himself and gave example of the choices for men and women in Islam.
Trust me, I am the last person that would have this view of him.
Host presented himself well this episode, I guess he learnt from previous ones. He didn’t give into the guests views if he doesn’t believe in it.

his description of the perfect woman is a weak woman. Its a sad interpretation that wouldn't fit our blessed prophets wifes such as Khadijah (r.a) or Aisha (r.a)
Follow sunnah correctly and not with this twisted logic where you get a remixed version of understanding. Women have rights which should always be respected. Marriage is a important institution in Islam and we get married to have kids and bring them up in the best way possible, having multiple wives and kids sounds good but bringing them all up to be succesful in this life won't be easy at all

@kazishafiqur he didn't apply his reasonings for polygamy from islam rather said he grew up seeing it from his dad and culture. So, for him, openly cheating and taking more than 1 wife is a cultural thing, not islamic. Using islam to justify his actions is disgusting. The only time he mentioned islam/god was when he said god has allowed a man to marry more than once and never expanded what the Islamic reasonings is, which he clearly does not follow. No one should look up to him, really, very bad example.

Sadly Muslims to some degree have been programmed by the ideologies of the West and don't have the guts to handle tough words. In other words, they are weak. Its not fard that good men need to invest in polygamy. He needs a fatwah from.a scholar or qiyas to come to that analogy. Many good men struggle balancing their time with their wife, children, community, work and worship and if theyre not into marrying another woman then thats fine because to say its obligatory for him to persue polygamy is something we need to hear from the scholars rather than laymen opinion.
He needs to consult the scholars before he throws his opinions around.
At the same time polygamy is allowed in Islam but if a man does not wish to persue it, thats his choice.
Some topics he mentioned on this interview were ok but he has some dodgy opinions about no string nikah, divorcee women etc. He has made lewd sick jokes about intimacy with divorced woman absolutely disgusting comments on his RUclips channel that really makes him someone that shouldn't be addressing the muslim men on polygamy. He needs to respect divorced women, he needs to stop generaliaing all women. He needs to return back to the Quran and Sunnah on the topic on divorced women topic.
    Interview was conducted well.
Shame that people still go to him for marriage advice 😢

Polygamy is allowed in Islam so I can’t debate that. However I feel that his approach is soo self centred and that he has a high sense of entitlement.
The scholars of the past will say during the second marriage make sure you be extra kind to the first wife (give her gifts, tell her good words etc )just so the transition for her is easier. Whereas his approach is like here is the door if you don’t like me getting married again.
I guess there will be a lot of bitter women and traumatised children if men start following Mahdi’s method of polygamy .

This guy Mahdi sounds like a narcissistic. He said he married anyway regardless of his 1st wife because he has to do what he needs to do for his own sexual desires. Nothing to do with pleasing god. Infact islamic reason for taking more than 1 wife doesn't exist in this mans theory except he saw his culture and dad do it and so its ok. He got triggered when Kazi used the word cheating because it kind of is cheating. Every married woman and man will have non married people have a admirer doesn't mean they need action. Mahdi is so proudly saying how woman come to him which is not suprising for every married men on this planet doesn't mean they all need to follow through with it behind wife or openly. It is cheating. Period.

I’m a carer to my mum and older brother for instance, and since two years a new mum, co-parenting with my estranged husband. If Misyar marriage is truly halal, then it would be ideal for me, and I wouldn’t feel so emotionally drained. So in line with what brother Mahdi is saying, I would forfeit my rights as a full time wife which is exhausting and encourage my husband to take a second wife.
Except my husband is not of this school of thought having been raised in Bangladesh. Why is Misyar marriage not a known thing? If it is allowed in Islam?

Shameful. Polygamy is not an obligation and only considered under extreme circumstances. You make our religion look bad and the reason the West thinks that Muslim women are oppressed. This brother does not know the religion the way he claims he does. Allah created Adam and Hawwa not Adam and multiple wives. Polygamy is a cultural practice not a religious one. The prophet (saw) married for political reasons to strengthen the religion. Although he was an exceptional human being, he had issues with his wives and shows that it's difficult to deal with multiple women. He only married one virgin. What about how he was monogamous with Khadija for a long time. His other wives were widows or divorced. Just because you want to practice polygamy doesn't mean other men want that and you don't have a right to say that there's something wrong with men who are happy with one wife. Your life is yours, other people's lives are theirs. You talk like a narcissist and bully with no respect towards women the way Allah has decreed.
