At 2:38 in this video a graphic is shown that identifies stiffness and weight and how it changes as a function of thickness of the core. What is the unit of measure that would apply to the stiffness?

Im looking for something I can mount to the top of my canoe, to use as a casting deck. It must be able to hold two adults, so about 300 lbs across a max span of 38" and 8-10' long. I would also like to be able to cut holes in it, attach a lid for underneath storage access. While being as light as possible.
What would you suggest and at what cost are we talking?

That fat plate is a monster! How was that made? Can you press-mold full 4x8 sheets?

A serious monster! It was made in a press. We are not currently set up to press 4' x 8' sheets however we infuse 4' x 10' sheets every day. We have partners however that can press up to 10'ers. Shoot us a request via email. info@rockwestcomposites.com and we'll follow-up there!

Thanks for the excelent primer on panels vs plates. Do you offer inexpensive, lightweight composite panels suitable for use as enclosure wall panels?
